View 2 Replies View RelatedThis past week my phone has been sending some calls straight to voicemail without even listing that someone called (no one in the recent call list). I'm trying to figure out if this is a network issue or a software/hardware issue. I've made sure that none of the callers I've missed are on the "straight to voicemail option" (I actually don't have that setting for anyone). I've checked my sound options to make sure they are turned up (and made sure it's not set to priority...I hate that new lollipop feature), and I've checked the radio signal strength. Everything seems to be in order. I tried to call the person back who left me the message and it rang several times, then gave me an error message saying that the call couldn't be completed. This happened twice and then I finally got through the third time. After that I made a call to someone else to see if it went through. It did.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo far I have been able to assign a ringtone to only 1 contact. For all the others I have tried thus far, I select the ringtone that I want, hit OK and it goes back to the default ringtone. This is strictly the Phone Contact list. I am not using any social networking apps at this time. I do use the Verizon Backup Assistant for my contacts, but that has never been an issue on any of my previous phones. This is the same contact list that was restored from my old phone to this one and the contacts have not changed.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo far I really love this phone, but I seem to have stumbled across somewhat of a glitch that I can't figure out yet. This "smartphone" doesn't seem to allow me what a simple BASIC phone always did....and that is to allow me to assign a different ringtone to specific contacts. I do see that it is an option however it won't save the change on some contacts, but it does on others. I select the contact I want to update, I tap the menu option, then select "Options." I open the Ringtone dropdown, select a new ringtone, tap OK....but when I get out to that previous screen - it once again shows the ringtone as default. I don't understand this. Why will it let me save on some, but not others? I compared one contact that didn't save....to another that did save. They both have the same type of info - a mobile number, an email address, a home address, a facebook link, and a birthday listed. One saved - the other did not.

Well, I put that information in, but everytime I press the voicemail button, it only dials *86. When I check my settings, my information is there, but it just won't dial that. View 8 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both have the Razr Maxx. On day one, we attached our Google Voice accounts to our new Verizon accounts. A couple of days ago, a Verizon voicemail notification showed up on my wife's phone, my phone is working fine.
When I click on the notfication icon, it dials *86 and I just get the voicemail greeting from Voice and it allow me to leave a voicemail, which is very strange. The icon "New Voicemail(1)" will not go away. There is no delete option. I tried hitting 7 in call to delete the message. I even tried to force close the app and clear cache. I have searched Google and several phone forums. I even unregistered her Voice and registered it again.
Selecting "Motocast Computers" in the Files Application the computer shows that it is online. When selecting my specific computer it returns a "Failed to load content.Please try again." message. This used to work and show folders and files. My WiFi and data connection is working but cannot resolve this.

We both have the iPhone 4 on orange network but when I select to send him a message to his phone number it only ever sends as a text message, not iMessage. I can send as iMessage if I select his email address instead or if I respond to a message from him.

On my Droid X I was able to program the voicemail button to dial *86 pause enter the password pause enter 1 to hear new messages. This is handy when driving. Is there any way to do this on the Razr Maxx? It says contact cannot be edited.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just done a resync of my contacts from Outlook to Goggle. I have done everything I could to find why the Razr doesn't show (or has combined) some of my contacts. I use Outlook (2003), used gsyncit to get all of my contacts to Goggle (deleted all previous contacts). My Outlook shows 1436 contacts. My Google (google.com/contacts) shows 1436. I have a table (Toshiba) and the contacts in it (showing only the google contacts) is also 1,436. BUT, the Razr did show 1434 on the initial sync, now shows 1,433 contacts. Another contact "lost" on the cell phone when the tablet and google on the web all showing the same number as Outlook
