View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to send a video message with the front facing camera that isn't so grainy can you do a better quality?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the M does not have an HDMI port nor support MHL, I was just pondering another alternative. My televisions are not DLNA compatible and I really don't care about HD quality, so I was wondering if the 3.5 port was an option for basic video out. I know some devices used to have a compatible adapter for this process, but thought maybe it was terminated because of new technology. In most phones the 3.5 seems to only be an audio port, but just figured I'd ask.

View 1 Replies View Relatedbeen meaning to look into this for the longest time. i know that our providers must compress our media messages for speed and size. i'm not overly stressed about photo compression, but video i wonder about. where can i find the best info on which resolution is the happy medium between quality and posting speed? i know at full hd that Internet is gonna take quite some time and that g+ doesn't compress either, but video messaging always compresses even when i go down to vga and so. also, i'm always asked to resize the video but i have only 2 options, qcif and qvga. those are my specific questions, but if there is a site with answers to a myriad of other concerns related to media compression and posting i'd love to see it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a friend take about 80 pictures today while we were surveying, and only the first three came out. The rest are files but show 0 kb size and display as a picture icon. I only watched a couple of the pictures while they being taken, but everything seemed to be working fine. Picture showed up after being taken.
View 2 Replies View Relatedin the gallery? So was I. Sometimes it would take some time for them to all load and be viewable, that is until I installed an app simply called "Rescan SD.You press the app and it instantly updates the contents of your SD card. Now my pictures load up automatically with no problem at all.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI can't find some pictures or a video that I took on my DROID3. I'm not sure if I had them stored on the SD card or internal storage. There is one picture contained in the internal memeory that I took when I first got the phone and before I put the SD card in it. The SD card is from my old Blackberry. It takes and stores new pictures just fine. The pictures and video are from about 2 weeks ago. I did find a thumbnail that looks like it might be from the video and I set one of the pictures aas my wallpaper. It displays fine as a wallpaper but for some reason it can't find that actual picture.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince ICS, which i just noticed recently, my razr won't let me attach a video file to an email. I realize the file has to be less than 25mb which they have been. The phone keeps saying "file size exceeded" Can someone out there tell me how to get videos attached to an email?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having a big problem recording video with the Motorola DROID RAZR.I can record about 1-2 minuts and then it freezes.I notice that is seems some audio is still being recorded (as I can hear it on the playback), but the video just locks up.Also, I notice that it boots me out of the camera and back to the home screen.I've tried recording when saving to the micro-card or internal. Both ways are still ineffective. Also, I've noticed that sometimes, when call are coming in, the screen is unresponsive and cannot pick-up the call. I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought I would mention here anyway.
View 8 Replies View Relatedsince ics i can no longer control flash video on the web (sites like blip.tv). the video plays fine but i can't full screen it nor can i access the video controls (pause, stop, position)on the web, when you go to you tube, the video has controls at the bottom (play/pause, volume, and the status bar showing where you are in the clip) and when you full screen it, they're still there. on gb when you went to a flash video and hit play, the video would automatically full screen with the status bar on the bottom (status bar being the time counter showing how much you've played, what is left and your position.) on ics now when you play a video it simply plays on the page with no access to the controls or the ability to full screen the clip.
with Internet i obviously have an app but with web content (news, and blip.tv) it not possible as far as i can tell. sometimes i wanna pause and fast forward or rewind and that ability is now gone.lip.tv is the big one for me, i watch a lot on there. but when i go there now on my phone, chrome won't play at all and the stock brower shows the little cinema logo. when i click the logo, the video plays fine but small and still embedded in the web page. i can't pause or stop without leaving the page, i can't fast forward or rewind and i have have no time counter to know my video position. it's extremely frustrating. and double-tapping does nothing. on gingerbread this was simply automatic. you hit play and it goes fullscreen, you have the video position bar at the bottom (slider that let's you ff or rewind) and a ply/pause button. they would disappear after while and come back with a tap
Just got my phone yesterday but there appears to be no support for video Skype. Does anyone know if this is to force you to use Google Talk or will Skype eventually be working with RAZR.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was running short of space on my MicroSDHC card. I had about 1.5 gigs of storage left on the card. I went to take a video and noticed that I could only take a video in DVD quality or worse. There was no longer an option to take video in 780p or HD+ (1080p). I thought that happened because I didn't have much space left on my SD card. I later purchased a 32G Sandisk MicroSDHC. I thought that I would get back my HD and HD+ video options back after I installed the new card. This did not happen. I no longer can take HD+ video anymore. My settings in the video record mode no longer list HDor HD+. how to get the HD settings back? I tried clearing the cache and data in the camera app, but that didn't help.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI came across a largely unpublished spec on Motodev, which is that the Razr can not only capture 1080p at 30fps but also 480p at 120fps. Link:[URL] how to actually achieve this video capture mode. A Motorola live chat rep just told me to check out these forums. Basically I'm wondering if driver support exists to the point that apps can take advantage of the functionality immediately, or if the ICS update might address this, or if it is being swept under the rug indefinitely.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor instance if I play a movie from Netflix or Redbox Instant the picture is blurry/grainy (but when you look at the picture on the phone it is perfect) and after a while the phone will crash and re-set itself.
View 11 Replies View RelatedSometimes pictures that are texted to me won't download. A big red X appears on the lower right hand side of the text screen. When I open the message it has the option to download or reject. When I chose download, it doesn't happen. My old "non smart" phone never had this issue.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHow can I recover pictures that were saved on the phone and I deleted it by mistake?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't find that picture anywhere on the phone. Does anyone know exactly where this thing has saved it to? I even checked the online gallery on the Verizon site and that has no photos in it. Where did it sent the picture? It is not in the gallery, it is not on the SD Card, it is not in Handcent's download folder, not in the default DCIM or download folders on the phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat is the size limitation for these attachments? I recorded a 23 second clip in MMS mode which totaled 368KB. It won't go. I had one rep. tell me the limit was 15 seconds regardless of size. I thought I had read on VZ site it was 500K but may have dreamed that.
Or is it neither size or length but something else? And finally is it the same for GMail?
I just purchased a DROID RAZR. I have installed the desktop client on two different machines. I can view pictures and listen to music but when I try to play any video format I receive the following error:
Error during video playback
MotoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.
I've had ice cream sandwich for about two weeks. Since then I can't stream video when I'm in desktop mode. Android mode is very limited. I called verizon, they called motorola. Motorola said streaming is no longer supported on desktop mode with ICS. The crappy part is she could not report the problem, I was to explain my problem on this forum so the software poeaple could read this. I've got better things to do than registering for a forum so someone might read this and get streaming back. Not a happy camper with ICS.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy issue is this, I cannot "fast forward" a video during playback. I can select a "fast forward" spot in the video using the slider or control panel but as soon as I let go it reverts back to where it was before (usually the beginning). The really weird part is when I download a player app it initially works, it did this trying RockPlayer, GeekVideo, BSPlayer and others, but as soon as I exit and re-start the apps they revert back to this behavior. My videos are 2.5 hours long and I need the ability to start, and re-start them at differnt points.
I tried MoboPlayer and it behaved the same. I noticed that the file type that does not work is the .WMV, the .MP4's work as they should.
Is this an issue with 2.3.6 that would be fixed if I go back to 2.3.5? I did not see any posts on the internet about this specific issue so I am confused. I received my RAZR MAXX a few days ago. I did the OTA update to 2.3.6 before checking this issue on 2.3.5.I am not rooted or modified in any way.I do not have this problem with the same applications with .WMV files on my old DX running GB 2.3.3 or my tablet running HC 3.2.1
Flash video player is not working now with ICS. I've tried untistalling and re-installing to no avail.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to take a portrait photograph or video on my Razr. If I hold it in portrait mode, the icons don't rotate like they do on the Galaxy Nexus, there's no option to set it to portrait mode, and every picture ends up in landscape. Even if I disable Auto Rotate, they're all in landscape. This is a real pain in the butt because sometimes I need more detail on something that is taller than it is wide but I have to settle for the extra space of landscape. The Galaxy Nexus and Droid Bionic allow portrait photographs and video, why doesn't the Razr.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi keep my phone in portrait mode but whenever a video plays (except in the Internet app) it switches to landscape and i see no option to use portrait anywhere. how do i get it to just go with whatever orientation i'm in? the iphone does this just fine.
