I'm able to transfer my iTunes library to my Atrix, but the playlists end up in alphabetical order, rather than the original order of the album or list. Anything I can do about that?

View 5 Replies View Relatedi seem to have so much trouble getting music onto the flipout. I have had more success by taking the media card out and using a reader. Then i just drag and drop. Trouble is the player doesn't play every file. Some it doesn't like saying it is not the correct file type. I think i ripped everything via windows media player. Also windows media player does not sync with the card sometimes or the device itself. I am lost in the problems so can't remember when i did what. So my question is is there an ideal way to do this that i am missing. I think i did use some motorola software as well but didn't get very far with that either. Sorry i am vague but i am on my Linux machine and not the windows one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMotorola's My Music app is having issues finding my music. If I view the albums for an artist, they all appear, but if I play that artist, some of them can't be found. Sometimes I try again, and these albums play. Once I even noticed that all of the albums appeared but songs were missing, and then when I looked at the album list again, the ones that weren't playing weren't listed. Then they appear again. The most troubling part is that these songs are in the same folder on my sd card.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got the Motorola Photon Q and so far I really like it. It is different navigating than my previous phone, though. I am currently using my old 2 gb sd card and want to get a 16 gb card, but can't figure out how to transfer my music files that I downloaded from Amazon MP3 cloud to my phone. It appears they are stored on internal storage, which I suppose is ok for now, but when I get a new card I want to store them on my larger 16 gb card. I can access them by going to settings,storage, audio, then complete action using files, device storage, and then they are listed as amazonmp3.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSince installing a new Netgear 7550 modem/router from AT&T, I have been having trouble with the WiFi on my Verizon Razr. I can connect to the network and browse just fine for a while, but eventually the WiFi indicator changes from blue to grey and no apps will load data. This includes not being able to load webpages. I also notice that once the icon goes grey, only the upward pointing triangle within the WiFi indicator comes on. Of course restarting the phone or rebooting the router restores the connection for a time, but eventually it drops again. Once the icon turns grey I get the following from the settings menu:
Status
Connected
Signal strength
Excellent
Link speed
72Mbps
Secruity
WPA/WPA2 PSK
IP address
192.168.1.xxx (the last three numbers never seem to change)
I tried to use the blue tooth file transfer app but this is the message i get:
You can't connect with target device because it lacks of the "Object Push Profile" (OBNEX OPP) Bluetooth service. Make sure that the target device is in DISCOVERABLE mode and enabled to receive files!"
I read on a forum that the Razr's transfer rates are such that there's no point in buying a SD card higher than a class 4. That the Razr is not able to tranfer data higher than a class 4. I find that hard to believe, given that the SD Association recommends class 10 for "Full HD video recording, HD still picture consecutive shooting"
Does anyone know if the Razr's able to utilize class 10 memory cards or if there is a lower spec that is the max it can utilize?
I was able to transfer a downloaded Audiobook to the RAZR. However, while it plays perfectly on my PC, it is completely garbled on my RAZR.

My OS is Windows XP SP3.I have installed the latest version 2.3.4 of the"Motorola Device Manager" software.The install goes fine. There are no "Plug phone in now" kind of prompts, but the installer says the program is installed and will launch whenever I plug in the phone.So when I unlock and plug in the phone, the MDM icon shows up in the system tray, and the Windows "Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard" comes up. Hmmm...did the software installer install the drivers or not?If I click Next, the message "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software."So I go back and change the selection to "install from a list or specific location", then specify to look in C:WINDOWSsystem32 (which usually works for most things)

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I just discovered that /sdcard is really internal and the removable sdcard is /sdcard-extI don't have any music in /sdcard/music, it's all in /sdcard-ext/music and I don't want to move it (It wouldn't all fit anyway.)My Music library says "There is no music" because it doesn't appear to look in sdcard-ext. How do I change this so that music files on the removeable SD card are found by My Music and appear in the library?

We've done all the general troubleshooting and installed all updates still same problem a full connection but no data. I should note that my wifi works flawlessly in all other locations work home parents other friends etc.

It works perfectly for phone calls, but when I try to play any MP3 songs on the phone through the car kit, there is no audio.If I am currently playing a song from the phone, and I turn on the ignition in my truck to power up the T605, all music audio goes away as soon as the phone connects to the car kit.I am going to dig around to see if I have the latest firmware for the T605.

Now I have a bunch of music/podcasts on my phone I dont want, but not the mp3's on my phone that I want on my pc. I read you can move music to sd card, but not sure how to do that, as they are all located on my phones internal memory.
