Motorola Droid 2 :: Support For 32 GB (Class 10) Micro SD Card
Jun 6, 2011I want to upgrade from the current 8GB card to a 32GB card. I bought a class 10 card (instead of the class 4 that was shipped with the phone. I would like to know if it is supported but I cannot find a spec anywhere.

Oct 25, 2011I recently made the decision to stop using my headphone jack. To listen to audio, I plug my listening devices into th 3.5mm jacks that are located on the different docks. The problem I have is that a lot of the phone sounds still come through the external speaker. For example, I am watching a movie and I get an email, text msg, or phone call. I can't hear this because my headphones are on. If I plug my headphones into the phone's actual headphone jack, I hear all of the sounds. If I am in the car and a call comes in, the voice comes through the speakerphone. I have to manually hit the speaker button and then the audio comes through my car stereo. Does any know if there is a way to make the audio from the micro usb to work the same as the audio on the headphone jack?

Sep 19, 2012I have been reading articles about the new iphone and the ability to talk and surf at the same time. It seems that the new iPhone 5 will not be able to do this on Verizon and Sprint. This would really effect any one who may use hot spot sharing. Maybe I am just reading into this to much, or is this a possible move to keep iPhone off the VZW and S off there networks because it is a data hog? I just seems like a step back wards. I hope this doesn't move over to the android phones. It sounds like it may just be a limitation of the new iPhone's ability to work on several different networks, but don't you think a new device would have that covered? Just one more reason not to move over to Apple. I will keep my bionic as long as I can, and then purchase another android. After playing with some new phones the other day like the SIII, I think I will still be getting another Motorola when the time comes. The Motorola phone just flows better IMHO. [URL]

I can't see it and when I go to storage screen and touch Mount SD Card, nothing happens. When I plug the Xoom into my laptop via USB, laptop only sees internal memory, not microSD. Dec 3, 2010I have a Sony Ericsson X10, changed out the 8gb micro sd with 32 one. Phone won't read it and states it is damaged and needs reformatting. Yet it won't reformat the Micro SD. Plug it into my computer and it recognizes it as a 32GB card. MediaGo recognizes it as a 2gb card. All software, phone and mediago has been updated.

Jul 15, 2010On the Verizon website, they state a 16gb max micro SD card for the incredible.On the HTC site, they state 32gb max.I purchased a 32gb card only to have the HTC Incredible take forever to load things (music) to the card. When there, it stores the dir structure, but erases the contents of some of the content.I also notice that the LOST.DIR gets full of files with numbers for filenames and no extensions.I've also experienced that the card gets completely wiped by the phone.I've re-formatted the drive numerous times, both in the phone an dexternal. Each time the formatting states all good.Load everything back onto the card, rebooted device, empty card again.left phone running, reloaded card externally and inserted the card. it only finds a few music items in the "music" directory and again cleans out some others.
Done a phone diagnostic, checked that the phone does see all 32 gb, everything looks good.I posted a message to the HTC customer support and so far been ignored.Is there anyone else having this sort of problem ?

Nov 2, 2010my first post here. I've had problems with a 32Gb card, don't know if the problem is the card or the "SDHC" standar. If I change to the 8Gb card that came with the mobile everything works fine.If I copy music to the phone via media sync or just dragging files only few of the files appear in the phone. i.e: For a 10 track album I only see 4 songs.Also having problems with pictures or videos, the files seems to be corrupted. I have been using Zumocast, but that's only a one way deal. You can stream and download files from PC onto the Bionic, but not vice versa.Also, I tried to download a 1.4 gig mp4 file but it doesn't fully download, and makes my notification area on my Bionic force close and the whole phone just wigs out and requires a reboot. So Zumocast needs to do some updates in order to support large file transfer.
Anyway, I am looking for a way to transfer files from my phone to my computer(s) wirelessly. I don't always have my USB cable around.

Nov 17, 2011Im having the same issue as a lot of other people (so i read). Mine has progressively gotten worse. My data connection shows active (sometimes it doesnt) but I cannot transfer data. After multiple restarts/battery pulls, i have data connection but NO app will transfer data except the web browser and dolphin. Even Gmail will not sync. So i can surf the web, but cant check my gmail app, pageonce, etc, etc. Wifi/bluetooth work fine. MOST of the time I can still text / make calls but not always.
I am hesitant to do a factory reset as the last time i did this, it did not change the problem and i was stuck with nothing because i had no data connection to connect to my google account with (nor wifi, i was on vacation).

However, I can't find a way to do this on the Bionic. There's no option in accounts > Gmail. I HATE having the emails strung together like they were text messages. One of the major issues is losing attachments (ex: photos) in earlier emails once additional ones have been added to the "thread."

Spoke to the developer of Freecaddie and he checked and it is suppose to save courses to SD but Bionic saves to Internal Memory. With My Tracks even when I pick "Save to SD card" is saves it to Internal Memory. What is up with that and is there a way to correct it?I know my SD card is working because I have moved pics and music to it without a problem.
