I just bought a 32Gb Sandisk Class 4 microSD card off dailysteals (same place I bought my Xoom). I plugged it in and the Xoom does nothing with it. I can't see it and when I go to storage screen and touch Mount SD Card, nothing happens. When I plug the Xoom into my laptop via USB, laptop only sees internal memory, not microSD. I was previously using a Sandisk 8Gb microSD that worked fine

I can't find any aid to mounting my new Patriot SD card. I've tried reinserting the card several times and the phone still doesn't see the storage. It just keeps telling me to remount the card.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Wi-Fi Xoom with 32G of internal storage and Android 3.2. When I insert a 16G SanDisk Class 4 micro SD card and power up,I am unable to mount the card. I go to Settings>Storage, and get an error message, with the option to Force Close or Send Report. Most of the time, the app closes itself with no action on my part. If I insert the SD card while the Xoom is powered on, I get a different problem. I am able to get to the storage setting, and there is an option to mount the card. However, pressing on that option doesn't cause anything to happen. The card is formatted as FAT32. I have copied some files to it on my PC, and the files are there when I connect the card back to the PC. I've checked the board here, and not seen this problem addressed.

The micro sd works in my galaxy tab 3 and a friends S4.
The S5 does however recognise the Sandisk 16GB SDHC that came with my galaxy tab.
When I connect an sd card reader to the s5 via the micro usb slot the phone recognises the card???
What else have I have tried.....
1) S5 factory reset of lollipop.
2) Formatting the micro sd
Just as the title says. I sent my Xoom in for the 4G upgrade and when i got it back, my 32gb SD card was gone and i have this crap 8gb instead... [removed]

My new xperia z3 unable to mount my working 64GB mico SD card. the phone detected that the file format is different and prompt to format. But after formatting, it is still unable to mount the card. I tried this 64Gb card on PC and it is working. I tried mounting a 32Gb card on the Z3 and working too.

Yet it won't reformat the Micro SD. Plug it into my computer and it recognizes it as a 32GB card. MediaGo recognizes it as a 2gb card. All software, phone and mediago has been updated.

If I change to the 8Gb card that came with the mobile everything works fine.If I copy music to the phone via media sync or just dragging files only few of the files appear in the phone. i.e: For a 10 track album I only see 4 songs.Also having problems with pictures or videos, the files seems to be corrupted. I took a few pictures and then hit the power button to shut off the screen, When I later hit the power buttom to wake my wifi xoom, the xoom awoke back into the camera app, however, the screen for the picture was black. I hit the "back" button and it illuminated blue to indicate that I had hit it but it remained blue. It was stuck. I hit "home" and it gave me a message to force close the camera or wait. I force closed it and attempted to restart the camera app. It wouldn't restart so I rebooted the xoom.Now, the camera app starts up and shows a picture, however, I get the subject message "Mount USB Storage Before Using the Camera"

When I disconnect my Droid X from my computer, the SD card does not remount and is greyed out when I go to settings to try and fix it. It also erases any app shortcut that is on the home screens that is housed on the SD card. It worked fine when I had Froyo.

I then press Format SD Card. It says Erase the card .. Ok ..then Erase everything. I turned off the phone ... turned back on but no change.
I have tried to connect via PC Mode etc but the computer finds the card, i.e. gives it a letter, (e:) and I can browse D: (the main phone memory but that's it. Cannot be mounted or formatted.
Why, if Nokia Asha 200 supports 32gb microsd having similar specifications that the nokia C3-00 it only supports up to 8GB
There is a possibility that this is corrected via firmware?
I bought a san disk 16 gb memory card about a month ago. It worked fine until i took it out and forgot to umount now my phone says please insert memory card when its inserted. I tried to format on the computer with no sucess.

In settings/storage it shows the 29.66gb total space, 24.36gb available space. However when I go to either APS2SD or manage apps via settings it shows 8.91gb total and 7.11gb available. Why is it only showing 8gb total and not 29.66?

View 12 Replies View RelatedOn the Verizon website, they state a 16gb max micro SD card for the incredible.On the HTC site, they state 32gb max.I purchased a 32gb card only to have the HTC Incredible take forever to load things (music) to the card. When there, it stores the dir structure, but erases the contents of some of the content.I also notice that the LOST.DIR gets full of files with numbers for filenames and no extensions.I've also experienced that the card gets completely wiped by the phone.I've re-formatted the drive numerous times, both in the phone an dexternal. Each time the formatting states all good.Load everything back onto the card, rebooted device, empty card again.left phone running, reloaded card externally and inserted the card. it only finds a few music items in the "music" directory and again cleans out some others.
Done a phone diagnostic, checked that the phone does see all 32 gb, everything looks good.I posted a message to the HTC customer support and so far been ignored.Is there anyone else having this sort of problem ?
This is the 2nd 32gb sd cards I brought and it still not working well on motorola atrix. When I sync video into my phone (mp4) only 3 out of 15 video that plays. Last thread I created they said it was the sd card that was corrupted so I brought a new one and this one is still the same. Is it atrix doesn't work on 32sd card?

Reformating it to NTFS will not work as the xoom cannot read that file type...
