My Phone . I replace the hdmi cable and the same thing was happening. I had Verizon replace my Bionic and the same thing is happening. Is this going on with other phones and what can i do? Cannt look at movies, photo or anything on my TV or any other TV.
View 2 Repliesthe headphone port breaking/not connecting? I am replacing my third Bionic today for that exact issue. The first one a piece bent inside the headphone port, the second one a piece broke, and the third one just stopped connecting and producing sound.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am not the only one to have had this happen. ANother poster over at Droidfourms.net has had the same thing happen to them. The screen after disconnecting from the HDMI port will go dim like it is about to shut off but it won't. It will stay dim until you manually turn off the screen with the top power button. It is a glitch and battery killing one to say the least. Anyone else have the issue or remedy other than rebooting like I had to! I mean why do I have to tear apart an Otterbox case everyday? If the HDMI glitch doesn't bother me then it is the black screen of death requiring another battery pull!

What wasn't awesome is that the screen timesout and that's it for the audio.So if I want to listen to my music, do I have to set the screen timeout for never? View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried to connect to my Droid Bionic to my computer today and it does not give me an option to connect via USB...it just say's charging. There is nothing in the notifications dropdown area and the drivers are not showing in the device manager inside windows 7 Pro 64bit.
I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted then installed them again but still nothing.
I tried this on 3 computers both 64 and 32 bit. The cable is good and it is the one that came with the phone. It does charge but no data transfering.
I cant connect to my job's wifi because the wifi requires me to enter a user id/name but the Bionic's proxy setting dont have a field where a user id/name can be entered. Does anyone know of a different way to connect or a different setup?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI haven't used the lapdock in over a month.Recently attempted to connect and found I am unable.When I connect the lapdock it appears to connect normally, but then flashes back to the phone.While connected, the touch pad and keyboard are not functional. I also noticed I no longer get the options I use to when connecting (specifically no productivity mode).I have tried rebooting the phone, removing battery and repowering and reconnecting, no difference at all.

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe 2 games that I play most often, at least at this time, are Angry Birds and Hungry Shark. I have noticed that while I am playing that the screen will just freeze for about 3-5 seconds. There is no specific time when this happens, but it does happenevery 1-5 minutes. When the screen freezes the sound continues. This happens multiple times during game play.
I find this rather strange and would like to know if anyone else has noticed this. When I first noticed it in Hungry Shark, I thought maybe it was a problem with the game, but then I started playing Angry Birds and I was seeing the same behavior. I have to believe that this is a hardware or OS conflict since it is happening in multiple apps. I don't remember seeing any notifications or phone calls when this happens.
I have been having issues with my screen locking up after the screen times out and shuts off or when I turn the screen off. This dosent happen every time but at least once or twice a day. The power button will turn screen on and off but the screen is totally unresponsive to my inputs. I have tried factory resting it to no avail.

View 2 Replies View Relatedafter the ics update my screen suffers from a flicker. trying to pin down the cause, i have noticed it is fine after i reboot my phone. but, once i go into my flipboard app, taptu app, or watch a video on Internet is when it starts acting up. i can play games just fine. i can view most webpages just fine. i can use all my other apps just fine. i've uninstalled, reinstalled these apps, i've pulled the battery, i've changed settings, i've cleared cache. i just can't figure it out. the phone ran just fine before the update. now, after the update is when i have problems. i ran into another person online that has the same issue so i know there is at least one other person in the world having simular issues. this forum is my last resort before calling verizon support and either getting a replacement or upgrading to a different phone.

It would produce a faint light, but would not let me access the screen, phone or any apps. I was talking on a bluetooth headset at the time. Normally at the end of a call, I could hang up the phone by pushing a button on my headset. That wouldn't work either. The only way I could hang up the phone was to pull the battery.
