Motorola Droid Bionic :: Phone Stops Entering Numbers And Blacksout
Nov 30, 2011My second Bionic and having issues with dialing in on conference calls, I dial the 855 number then dial the password and the phone just stops entering numbers and blacks out, the 1st one did the same thing very frustrating it freezes all the time on the digits.

Sep 19, 2011My company has just converted to Gmail on Gapps. When I log into the account from the browser on the phone I put in name@companyname.com and leave the password blank. When I click on sign in it takes me to a page where I can enter my company domain user name and password and enter a pin number.When I try to set up a gmail account on the phone so that I can use the builtin email and calendar apps the account setup will not let me continue without entering a password.

Jul 10, 2012I have a regular RAZR that had the screen self-destruct last Friday, I have no idea why, as it did not touch anything, just cracked...but that is beside the point. I got the insurance replacement phone on Monday, and realized that my SMS backup app decided to save the backed up texts on the phone's internal memory instead of the sd card, like you would expect it to, as you are backing things up in case something like this happens...I went to retrieve the file from the internal storage by connecting it to my computer and here is the weird thing that happens when i do that:
When I go into Computer on Windows 7, it shows the motocast removable drive, and two other ghosted removable drives, that would normally be the MOTO and sd card drives, but for some reason it says that they ccannot be opened because a disk needs to be inserted into the drives..I have no idea what I can do to get around this and access the internal storage.
Motorola Defy :: Dust Entering Behind Screen Mainly At Top Left Corner
Jun 30, 2012I brought my Defy in October 2011. Since then it was four times at service. Dust keep entering behind the screen, mainly at the top left corner. Two times they cleaned it and replaced some rubber parts there. Nothing changed, after one or two weeks the dust appeared again. I asked them to send me a new one, but they refused it. A month ago they send me back the same phone without even cleaning it with notes that I'm using it in highly dusted environment against the IP67 (which is theoretically impossible in my country) Now, the whole upper part of the screen is dusted (see photo) and the screws are damaged due to the continuous repairs.

Mar 1, 2012Does anyone know, with stock apps only, is it possible to save a data file to to the homescreen for quick reference? At minimum, I would like a shortcut to the sepecific data file. Example; I use a simple Microsoft word calendar template to do scheduling for the month. I email the file to myself and save it to the messaging folder. Everytime I need to check who is working, etc....I have to go through the "My Files" shortcut, messaging, then the file I need. Would like to just save the data file or a direct link to it on my homescreen very similar to (gulp) windows.

I took it into the Verizon store and they told me I was covered under the warranty but that I wouldn't be able to recover my data because I have a password on my phone. Mar 23, 2010Data is eating though my pageplus prepaid. Is there any way to toggle data when I do/do not need it? I've googled, and so far, only method I found was switching the data from 3g to 1x, which isn't very helpful since all that does is consume the same amount of data at a slower rate.

She is disabled and she said it was too complicated for her so she re-activated her old flip phone and put this one in a drawer.After I purchased this phone I went straight to the Verizon store for activation. It had a clean ESN and activation went smoothly in terms of phone features; however, no data features. They worked on it for two hours and then gave up declaring the phone to be defective. Dec 5, 2011I'm running out of memory on my Moto Milestone/Droid. From what I can tell, the app that is taking up the most internal space is MotoNav at 17.73 MB (= 17.49 MB of data and 248 KB of app). My trial period has already expired though it appears I can still use it now (I'm assuming with its existing maps).I've read it's hard to remove MotoNav from the phone because it's a system app. That's fine but what happens if I just want to delete all the data from this app? Is that ok? Are there any long term ramifications to do that? What happens if say, I chose to buy an activation key for it at a later date? Will I be able to redownload all that data (the maps, etc) again?
