Colon symbol now doesn't work when entering url characters? Like when you want to enter about:debug. Totally confused by this now. Symbol is there when entering regular text in normal fields but not available in URL ?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've set up the email on my phone, and its working fine, but the POP3 settings page keeps popping up randomly. Anyone know how to correct this. Not sure if its an issue when the phone drops out of my home wifi connection and is trying to connect via wap.
Also how do you change between normal text entering and the predictive entering?
There is a small lock symbol in the corner of my phone with an arrow around it, beside the battery. What does this mean?

i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

View 4 Replies View Relatedall of a sudden yesterday out of the blue when I would enter the market my at&t data connection would just drop out. the phone would work but the web browser, market and data apps like facebook and weatherbug would not. the H+ icon at the top would go from grey with a blue H and blue arrows to a black H+ with black arrows and I will repeatedly get connection errors. I would also get a orange triangle notification with an exclamation mark in it that said the name of the app in the notification bar. I also noticed the signal bars would turn from blue to a white color. the app will never download as i have let the phone sit for over an hour and the download bar never moves. I have found that I can do 1 of 3 things to reset the connection, I can turn airplane mode on and then it will work again when I turn airplane mode back off, I can restart the phone and it wil work again, or i can go into my apps and force close tha market. the problem always returns when I try to download another app. I have contacted att and they went over everything they can think of but still no luck.

Has anybody figured out how to stop the auto entering of words within a text message? I've looked through all the settings, and just can't figure it out. Before the update, I use to be able to just double hit the space bar to make a period. Now, I've noticed that depending on the last word I typed, it will also throw in another word that it "thinks" I'm going to enter.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI brought my Defy in October 2011. Since then it was four times at service. Dust keep entering behind the screen, mainly at the top left corner. Two times they cleaned it and replaced some rubber parts there. Nothing changed, after one or two weeks the dust appeared again. I asked them to send me a new one, but they refused it. A month ago they send me back the same phone without even cleaning it with notes that I'm using it in highly dusted environment against the IP67 (which is theoretically impossible in my country) Now, the whole upper part of the screen is dusted (see photo) and the screws are damaged due to the continuous repairs.

When I click on sign in it takes me to a page where I can enter my company domain user name and password and enter a pin number.When I try to set up a gmail account on the phone so that I can use the builtin email and calendar apps the account setup will not let me continue without entering a password.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

View 8 Replies View RelatedSearching for "greater" or "less" wasn't working too well. I am using a Droid bionic with the latest updates, and the original bionic lapdock. In Firefox, the greater < and > work fine. However, in the mobile view, < and > appear as : and ; respectively. I tested this in a few different apps. Since those symbols share the same buttons on the soft keyboard, it looks like they are just mapped wrong. All the other symbols work fine in mobile view, including those which require a shift.
