Is it possible to change the $ sign on the main keyboard to a £ sign?,It's a bit of a pain having to change to the 'numerical' keyboard and then you've only got a £ sign as a 'sub' key.

I'm having a problem with my multi-touch keyboard it wont change language when i chose English and Other language it only display English languge when i slide the space bar to another language it still English letters Swipe keyboard working good tho , I didnt have this problem when i first got my Atrix whats wrong

View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore the recent 5.1 lollipop update everything seemed to work fine for me, but after the update for some reason when I type a message in Hebrew (I have English US and Hebrew enabled) and send it, the keyboard switches back to English and then I have to manually swipe the spacebar back to Hebrew after each time I send a message. Before the update the keyboard language would stay on Hebrew after I sent a message in Hebrew. It seems that the keyboard is defaulted to English because when I bring up the keyboard to type something it always comes up in English.

BUT: I'm using my Phone in Austria, so my mother tongue is German and the C3 is set to "German (Deutsch)" but the keyboard Layout is now English!! (I recognized it because when I press the "Y" button on my Handy, I get a "Z" and any other Charakters are changed.How can I set the keyboard layout to German?BTW: I bought my C3 in Austria but NOW its a englisch keyboard layout!

I have English letters but have Korean symbols to change text to numbers etc. and lost the bar above the letters giving me word suggestions etc. I have switched off, removed battery and sim but still reverts back. I swear on my 2.1 Spice XT300, the auto-retrieval was by email address (and also the smallest interval between fetches was 5 minutes, not 15 like on the Defy). View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my defy now for a few months, and I have been pretty happy with it (babyproof smartphone!)Unfortunately, its becoming more and more unreliable, and am having to reboot it regularly.This weekend is the worst. Here are some of the things it is doing:
all apps keep freezing and crashing (no fancy apps, mostly use it for twitter, facebook etc).phone keeps freezing and being unresponsible on the home screen keep getting an 'emergency calls only' notification, which then clears straight away when i go into notifications.mms photos - both sent and received take up to 5 days to be visible. until then they are just flagged as 'downloading'. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't take 5 days to download a 27kb file.After rebooting, I did have a gmail widget require a forced close immediately. I was never using that widget anyway, and couldn't see it, so I uninstalled it. Now on rebooting I have to force close Google Services Framework. I have decided that looks reasonably important and useful and have declined to uninstall that so far.
I have a my Defy & XT and as of 9:22 am the weather widget hasn't udated and I've turned the phone off and on etc and then I deleted my location and tried to readd it and it said something like.. location information cannot be found (not sure off hand).. I don't know what to do but it won't let me add any loactions but apps from the market work.

I was expecting that I would be able to change the OS language from the Standarad German to English... Huummph it seems not to be the case.
It looks like from my investigations that I will need to reinstall the Android OS, because The only language in German android in German SO my question is where do I find the download of the version of Android that has English as a selectable language? BTW the device's current OS level is H.6.3-25-9

i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

It is located between the signal strength bars and the WiFi strength symbol. I cannot find anywhere what this symbol indicates in any of the documentation; the manual or on-line. The phone seems to be operating normaly.
