May 28, 2012when I opened BBm today, I received a message : UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION:java.lang.nullpointer exception. When I rebooted the phone, got another message "Application Terminated : BBM has been denied the "Wi-fi" permission".I tried deleting BBM but couldnt. There is no option in App world to delete it.

Jan 16, 2010I'm attempting to duplicate the functionality exposed by Apple’s signature server, by entering (/private/etc/hosts) into the command line of Terminal Bash. I'm doing this to downgrade the firmware in my iphone 3gs from 3.1.2 to 3.0.1. I've been receiving a (permission denied) response for my efforts. I've gone into "Disk Utility and added myself as a "root user". However, that doesn't seem to correct the permission denied issue. Perhaps I didn't correctly add myself as a root user.

Nov 6, 2011I bought a Nokia C7 around one year ago, and I expected to get support and services provided by Nokia. Unfortunately, none of them are available, specially Ovi store ( neither through PC nor the smartphone itself). It's not my fault I live in Iran, despite the fact that Iran is one of Nokia's biggest consumers.I am so regretful I have bought this smartphone, cause I had other choices, like Apple ( cause App Store is available for Iran, even iTunes is available ) or Android smartphones.

When I attempted to log onto this site, I was greeted with a white screen, with the letters DTC in the top left corner. When I try to click on anything, a popup displays, and request the Read phone state be changed in my manifest folder.I vaguely recall from my coding days that the authorization the site is requesting, is a read only access, but I usually am aprehensive about such things, so I bailed on the site, and thought about it a bit. Now my question is, are the access files open for the taking? Since this is the first time I have encountered this on a phone, I am a bit taken back

Oct 23, 2011I upgraded my wife's phone finally to the new software release. She has been going along pretty good but just this morning, the internet browser won't open anymore and I get an error:
"The application browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"....."force close" button appears.
I also tried this in "safe mode" with the same error. I also tried with "wi-fi" on and "wi-fi" off. No difference.
Just writing this post, when the phone went to sleep and I tried to turn it back on.....it wouldn't do anything (not responding). Once it did turn on to the "locked screen" window, the screen would not unlock or even respond. A few minutes later, it decided to react.....still in safe mode, too.

Motorola Droid 4 :: No Sim Card Reported In Error - No Voice
Oct 1, 2012I go to use the phone for a call and I see two reported red bar errors at the top line: No Sim Card and no Bars. I reboot to clear it; however, this is a repeating situation. I get no warning of when it "drops". The last time was on the charger, overnight.I will be taking to the Verizon store but wonder if anyone knows of this and how to fix. I am at the latest version of software.

Jul 16, 2011I have tried to install 2 different games: Fieldrunners & Need for Speed Shift and I get the error can't load since out of memory? I don't have that many games (8-10?) and have plenty of memory. This is much less than I had installed on my HTC TB & Droid X and had no issues.
Under App downloaded tab have 731mb used, 1.3G free
Under all tab, 725 mb used, 1.3g free
Under media area 1.6g used, 9.8g free
Under running tab, have 233 mb used, 121mb free
I have a 32g SD card installed as well.

Jul 31, 2012When connecting a Droid Razr Maxx to our Mercedes via bluetooth, we get a text message import error every time whether or not we have any text messages on the phone. Any ideas? The dealer worked on this today and found that all the other phones which were owned by employees worked without this message.

Nov 18, 2011I just purchased a DROID RAZR. I have installed the desktop client on two different machines. I can view pictures and listen to music but when I try to play any video format I receive the following error:

MotoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.
