BB Torch :: BBM Has Been Denied 'Wi-fi' Permission
May 28, 2012
when I opened BBm today, I received a message : UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION:java.lang.nullpointer exception. When I rebooted the phone, got another message "Application Terminated : BBM has been denied the "Wi-fi" permission".I tried deleting BBM but couldnt. There is no option in App world to delete it.
I'm attempting to duplicate the functionality exposed by Apple’s signature server, by entering (/private/etc/hosts) into the command line of Terminal Bash. I'm doing this to downgrade the firmware in my iphone 3gs from 3.1.2 to 3.0.1. I've been receiving a (permission denied) response for my efforts. I've gone into "Disk Utility and added myself as a "root user". However, that doesn't seem to correct the permission denied issue. Perhaps I didn't correctly add myself as a root user.
Why do I get a permission denied error when trying to view some of the discussions. I just registered on the site but before I registered I could always read everything?
I bought a Nokia C7 around one year ago, and I expected to get support and services provided by Nokia. Unfortunately, none of them are available, specially Ovi store ( neither through PC nor the smartphone itself). It's not my fault I live in Iran, despite the fact that Iran is one of Nokia's biggest consumers.I am so regretful I have bought this smartphone, cause I had other choices, like Apple ( cause App Store is available for Iran, even iTunes is available ) or Android smartphones.
When purchasing mp3s my card keeps being denied. checked with bank and there is nothing wrong with card and have used it for other purchases on internet.
I have a nokia n8, i have downloaded all the software updates and the map updates, but whenever I try to go to maps get the message conn. failed access denied, I don't know why this is as I have wlan access at home i can open the maps but i am always at the mawson lakes interchange, i live some 40 kilometers south of this location, I don't have any other connection problems and often download games and apps from ovi store?
I just updated my E6 to v25.007 and now I can't connect to the internet. When I want to connect to the internet, a message pops up with this message: "connection failed, access denied". I tried different settings and also different sim cards. I even can't connect with WiFi, it gives the same message.
I just unlocked my storm 9530 today for T-Mobile, and I'm having trouble unlocking all features. I really want to get the internet up & running on my storm. I downloaded Crackutil, and it when I open it, it says file access denied.
I'm using the C702 and I have recently been denied access to the navigation services it offers. What can I do in order to have the navigation service again? What to do when the two-year navigation system ends?
Whenever I am trying to connect to WLAN, it got connected but the moment I start browsing, it displays message 'Connection Failed - Access Denied'. Sometimes, it shows 'Invalid Server'. I am really not sure why it is happening as 3G is working fine in my phone.
Last night around 12:00 I had fallen asleep watching TV. Got up around 1:30 am to go to bed. Looked at phone and it was downloading something but can't remember what it was. All I remember was it seemed like it may have been some kind of system type of download. Automatic download is turned off and whatever it downloaded did not install, it just downloaded and disappeared. It's not in download folder. So is there a way to find out what it was?
I am in SA, I received an email from AT&T confirming that I am eligible to have my phone unlocked. I am not tech savvy and they gave 4 steps on how to do it, it, its currently connected and busy restoring on iTunes (still about another 6 hours to go), my question is, when do I put the sim card from my service provider into the phone, should I have done that first? or wait until the restore is done?
Coming from iOS, I've received my brand new and awesome Nexus 5 a few days ago and I have to say: I love it. I really like the way Android works, except for one thing: The way it 'violates' my privacy.
I didn't install Galaxy TTS because I don't use S-Voice and I want to save storage space and cut down on the number of running processes. That's why I uninstalled all the updates and disabled it. The same goes for a number of other Samsung and other apps. But Galaxy Apps has just updated itself and proceeded to install TTS and some other stuff that I didn't want. I can uninstall them again but if I've been refusing to install the updates, why would Samsung think it was ok to install them anyway?
My Knox was already on my phone and the reviews said it was good. After a few days it would not let me access alot of the apps I have and use them regularly. I uninstalled it but there are still parts of My Knox on my mobile and it's still stopping me using some apps. I want rid of it and I've been told that I need to give root permission but I don't know how to do that.
I recently heard some word about the website www.androlib.com. The site was explained to me as being a well structured compendium of applications, tips and tricks. When I attempted to log onto this site, I was greeted with a white screen, with the letters DTC in the top left corner. When I try to click on anything, a popup displays, and request the Read phone state be changed in my manifest folder.I vaguely recall from my coding days that the authorization the site is requesting, is a read only access, but I usually am aprehensive about such things, so I bailed on the site, and thought about it a bit. Now my question is, are the access files open for the taking? Since this is the first time I have encountered this on a phone, I am a bit taken back
I am continuosly getting below error msg on my Nokia E72 mobile regularly after sometime. Mails are getting exchanged but getting below error msg. I tried with reconfigured my profile also. "Your account does not have permission to sync with current settings. Contact your administrator."
Is there any way to change the permission of "Desktop To Go Applications" my word, excel, ppt and pdf of my curve8520 ? Currently it is showing as "Deny"
So my Blackberry is stuck on the "Application Permissions" screen. I have tried a battery pull and it does nothing. I can not use my phone for anything as of now. I have Verzion Wirless as my carrier. Will have to take the phone to a Verzion store
I have been having this problem of mobogenie installing useless apps on my phone which i have discovered am not alone. I realised the problem came from a virus which made my phone sign into an account i don't even know about , its com.zynga.wfnaccount. Which seem stole my google account details and passwords so have to reset your phone and change your google account password temporarily till you fight this nuisance. I am using the lg g3 on android kitkat.
Simple: If Google Maps is using my motion activity to send me messages using their app, then why doesn't the app appear in Privacy/Motion Activity?Â
Last week I was using Google Maps on my iPhone 5S for voice navigation through Seattle during rush hour. I took a turn too sharply and my phone rolled off it's spot on my dash and it fell to the floor mat in my car. When safe, I picked it up and there was an alert-style message that said something along the lines of "We notice that you shook your phone while using Google Maps. Let us know if you are having difficulty using this app."Â
I subsequently checked Privacy/Motion Activity and Google was not listed as requesting information about my phone's motion.
So display on phone does not show anymore; however, when I plug it into the USB the phone is recognized by iTunes and triggers the permission pop up to access. The only problem is I can't click "Trust" on the iPhone because I don't have a screen that shows it. I can even reset the phone by holding the power and home button. So basically it's give permission with no screen. I have a replacement phone on the way but unfortunately the back up for this phone was deleted during a PC refresh so no backup and that's why I need access to it.Â
