Sony Ericsson :: C702 - Navigations Services Access Denied
Oct 2, 2010
I'm using the C702 and I have recently been denied access to the navigation services it offers. What can I do in order to have the navigation service again? What to do when the two-year navigation system ends?
I seem to have a problem with logging into Facebook on my Sony Ericsson C702. I use to be able to, but now when I complete my log in name and password and press Log In, it returns with a message saying that I have to Log in first? I've received some advise that I must clear my cookies and cache, which I did but the problem still persist. What can I do to be able to Log into Facebook again on my mobile.
I just received a m2 card from a friend who didn't need it anymore, but for some reason my phone is unable to detect it. My card reader is able to detect it, and i can access it through my phone while it's connected in file transfer mode. However, my phone says there is no memory card inserted, and my computer is unable to detect the card when the mobile is connected in phone mode. I've tried formatting it in both FAT and FAT32 with several different cluster sizes, but it makes no difference. Would appreciate some input!
I am trying to flash my C702 using the Update Service, however the update fails during the "Downloading" part, before the actual flashing begins. I have investigated this using wireshark and have discovered that the update program encounters a 404 file not found error. My internet connection is definitely working. Presumably the 404 error is why the update process fails. Is there any workaround I can use, or any chance that someone at Sony Ericsson could look into this matter?
My C702 just won't start up. It just keeps rebooting. When I turn it on, the logo appears on the screen, the keypad lights up, then it goes off again, then after 2 seconds, it reboots again, and so forth. Earlier when I first got it, it did reboot randomly maybe twice a week, but worked ok after that. But now, it just keeps re-booting without going into the phone menu.
The other funny thing is, at the moment, when I connect it via USB to my PC, I can browse the files/pictures/data in the phone via my PC. I tried doing an Software Update service via PC, and it says the phone has the latest software update. I want to break out of this constant re-booting cycle, and get into my phone again.
I bought a Nokia C7 around one year ago, and I expected to get support and services provided by Nokia. Unfortunately, none of them are available, specially Ovi store ( neither through PC nor the smartphone itself). It's not my fault I live in Iran, despite the fact that Iran is one of Nokia's biggest consumers.I am so regretful I have bought this smartphone, cause I had other choices, like Apple ( cause App Store is available for Iran, even iTunes is available ) or Android smartphones.
I have a nokia n8, i have downloaded all the software updates and the map updates, but whenever I try to go to maps get the message conn. failed access denied, I don't know why this is as I have wlan access at home i can open the maps but i am always at the mawson lakes interchange, i live some 40 kilometers south of this location, I don't have any other connection problems and often download games and apps from ovi store?
I just updated my E6 to v25.007 and now I can't connect to the internet. When I want to connect to the internet, a message pops up with this message: "connection failed, access denied". I tried different settings and also different sim cards. I even can't connect with WiFi, it gives the same message.
I just unlocked my storm 9530 today for T-Mobile, and I'm having trouble unlocking all features. I really want to get the internet up & running on my storm. I downloaded Crackutil, and it when I open it, it says file access denied.
Whenever I am trying to connect to WLAN, it got connected but the moment I start browsing, it displays message 'Connection Failed - Access Denied'. Sometimes, it shows 'Invalid Server'. I am really not sure why it is happening as 3G is working fine in my phone.
I have a Sony Ericsson K800i and until two days ago it was working just fine. But then it displayed the "No access to network." message and I couldn't make or receive any calls. I tried to restart the phone, to take off the battery, to reset the settings, to set a network manually etc etc but still nothing.
And while it is searching for a network, it is draining the battery too. It was fully charged this morning, and now it's only 25%. Normally, it should take 3-4 days to reach that power level. I should mention now that I'm in roaming in Munich, Germany since three weeks, and my phone bills are payed on time, so it shouldn't be an mobile operator problem.
have a W705. I had it unlocked and now use a vodafone Sim card in it as a result all I can do is text and call as I cannot access anything online due the Sim not being compatible. question is how and what do I download to update my phone with the relevant software?
I recently lost my phone and a friend gave me their old w580i. Somehow I may have deleted the connectivity tab under the settings menu. I cannot find any way to access my bluetooth for this phone. I ran the software update service and this did not fix the problem.
Can anyone tell me how to access internet via a USB connection to my pc, thereby using the pc's internet connection? I have activated the function on the Hazel.
First off, a bit of background. I bought an ELM (unlocked) off of eBay. I was able to put an ASDA sim in and it is fine for calls etc. However, I'm very puzzled as to what is going on with the internet settings. I contacted ASDA and they sent the appropriate setting for my phone but whenever I try to use Opera Mini , Bolt, GPS or anything else Internet related the connection fails almost immediately. What doubly puzzles me is that if I press the O2 softkey a page comes up which says 'It looks like your using wifi (which I'm definitely NOT) but then that page allows me to browse to other pages (BBC etc). The phone has clearly originally been on O2 and it's almost like something in there has grabbed the internet and won't let go so it's the ONLY internet page I can access. I've tried hard resets as suggested by ASDA etc.
Went to use the google map application the other day, and whilst it was generating route it complained it had lost signal.True, signal was dead, 3g or otherwise. However, GPS was still up and live so no route completed as it complained no network. Why does it need network to run?Seems pointless as you cannot guarantee a signal. for example, on my route home from work for the 45min drive I have an orange signal for about 10mins.
I configured the RoadSync on my Satio to check my SSL enabled Corporate email. When I hit the VERIFY button on RoadSync, it says that the Connection has been established and when it links to Exchange, I get a Symbian [-39] System Error. I tried googling for it and couldnt find a solution to it.
hoping someone can help me out here. I have a Sony Ericsson W595 This afternoon I went to make a call and found I couldn't get into my contacts list - I'd press select and nothing would happen. The phone would not be frozen, however. Then, on my "recent calls" list all my contacts' names had been replaced with an "e" with an acute accent. Later, I lost signal so took the battery out and replaced it, which didn't help. My message counter and phone theme were reset but the time and date were not. I removed and replaced the SIM card, which also had no effect. I then put my SIM card in a Motorola Pebl and got full signal and could receive texts again, so I assume it is a phone fault, not a SIM problem.
My German Hazel does not want to use Canadian WiFi! No matter if I am trying to login to my home WLAN or using an open hotspot - I get a mixture of messages but no WiFi access: "Out of network area, not available, error in communication etc.". I am not using any data plan, just plain prepaid on FIDO.ca - therefore a phone able to use WiFi.Sometimes the Hazel briefly logs-in to my home WLAN, but than immediately drops out on an ongoing basis, i.e. in/out continuously when in auto-login mode. If it stays in for longer than 30 sec. (rarely) and I select 'Internet' I am prompted to choose a network provider - something I don't want when using my WLAN. I never had the chance to use the browser or any internet service at all. I updated the phone software 2 days ago - no improvement!
I recently bought the Vivaz U5 and I'm loving it. The only problem I'm facing is with the IM Application installed within the device. I've tried so many solutions found online and on this forum as well but nothing worked for me. I would really like to use the application to access my Hotmail & Yahoo! IM accounts without having to refer to other application such as eBuddy or nimbuzz. Can I get a real pro.
