I seem to have a problem with logging into Facebook on my Sony Ericsson C702. I use to be able to, but now when I complete my log in name and password and press Log In, it returns with a message saying that I have to Log in first? I've received some advise that I must clear my cookies and cache, which I did but the problem still persist. What can I do to be able to Log into Facebook again on my mobile.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just received a m2 card from a friend who didn't need it anymore, but for some reason my phone is unable to detect it. My card reader is able to detect it, and i can access it through my phone while it's connected in file transfer mode. However, my phone says there is no memory card inserted, and my computer is unable to detect the card when the mobile is connected in phone mode. I've tried formatting it in both FAT and FAT32 with several different cluster sizes, but it makes no difference. Would appreciate some input!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to flash my C702 using the Update Service, however the update fails during the "Downloading" part, before the actual flashing begins. I have investigated this using wireshark and have discovered that the update program encounters a 404 file not found error. My internet connection is definitely working. Presumably the 404 error is why the update process fails. Is there any workaround I can use, or any chance that someone at Sony Ericsson could look into this matter?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy C702 just won't start up. It just keeps rebooting. When I turn it on, the logo appears on the screen, the keypad lights up, then it goes off again, then after 2 seconds, it reboots again, and so forth. Earlier when I first got it, it did reboot randomly maybe twice a week, but worked ok after that. But now, it just keeps re-booting without going into the phone menu.
The other funny thing is, at the moment, when I connect it via USB to my PC, I can browse the files/pictures/data in the phone via my PC. I tried doing an Software Update service via PC, and it says the phone has the latest software update. I want to break out of this constant re-booting cycle, and get into my phone again.
updated my firmware to the latest version. after that i got stuck with my twitter, it wont sign in. it keeps saying: login failed, please check: username nad password network connection date and time settings. username n password r correct, i use both of 3g n wifi connection which is works fine date and time r set.

I'm quite bummed that the new fw doesn't allow manual installation for the Facebook app I've been using since the last fw. It's strange that after the fw update my APAC-ANZ doesn't come with it while another phone with the same CDA and fw does. Actually it does allow manual installation, it just doesn't integrate itself with the phone anymore, ie. able to log on but I can't view any of the pictures, there's no Facebook link for 'send to' in the photo gallery which used to allow me to upload photos directly to my Facebook page etc. Am kinda wondering if any of you kind souls could help me out with this.

Can I not connect using my WiFi only as I don't want to be charged extra for internet usage and also on a side note is there a way to totally disconnect mobile internet from my phone. I've had a few nasty surprises in the past and just to add to that, if I want to connect to the Internet. How do I force the phone to connect via WiFi and not via a mobile internet thats going to cost me?
When I try to connect with facebook and the eplus-internet connection is not available the facebook application searches always for a WiFi. If this is not accessible I cannot cancel the application because it is searching still for the WiFi. I have to turn of the phone and turn on again.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have installed the latest update for the vivaz (i live in uk). on my phone it says the version is 1124-4699_r2ea021. software version date - 22/07/10. but on the sony ericsson site for updates it has a date of 27/08/2010 for latest update. on the info for the latest update on the site it says: get the latest software with new facebook™ panel and performance improvements when multitasking. update your phone software to get optimal performance and the latest enhancements.
the latest software includes new features and improvements such as:

but i don't seem to have any of them. i certainly haven't noticed any update with facebook. were it says new facebook panel on the standby screen is that for the sony ericsson standby screen? if it is i don't have that either all i have on this screen is twitter not facebook, how do i do get the facebook panel on it? any ideas why my update version on my phone says a different date compared to what it has on the sony ericsson site but when i plug phone to computer to update it says i have the latest software?
