Sony Ericsson :: Errors With Vivaz
Sep 1, 2010I have had my Vivaz for several months with absolutely no problems.However it has just stuck and would not allow anything to be selected so I turned the phone off to restart and now it will not load past the white Sony Ericsson start up screen - any ideas?

Are there ones that don't use the data connection like Wisepilot does.I understood (perhaps wrongly) that the satio was 3G compatible. i live in a 3G area but am only getting GPRS connection: can this be improved?

Jun 16, 2010I first bought my k750i in June 2005 and the battery has lasted fairly well over theses last few years but its become apparent that in the last few weeks since I've had to recharge it once a day that I need a new battery. I was wondering if there are any better quality batteries than the bst-37(its the battery that came with the phone) or should I just stick with it?

Oct 12, 2011I was logging out of facebook on my blackberry curve, when it froze. I turned it off and on again, but it would only fill up three quarters of the bar on the loading up screen. I then took the battery out left it for a while put it back in, and it has done exactly the same thing. What I can do to get my blackberry working again.

Jan 17, 2010Is there anyone with a W995 (Brown cert) with the latest fw R1HA036 who can extract the mentioned app? I'm quite bummed that the new fw doesn't allow manual installation for the Facebook app I've been using since the last fw. It's strange that after the fw update my APAC-ANZ doesn't come with it while another phone with the same CDA and fw does. Actually it does allow manual installation, it just doesn't integrate itself with the phone anymore, ie. able to log on but I can't view any of the pictures, there's no Facebook link for 'send to' in the photo gallery which used to allow me to upload photos directly to my Facebook page etc. Am kinda wondering if any of you kind souls could help me out with this.

Nov 25, 2010I just recently got the vivaz as a replacement for my old nokia phone, and i seem to be having problem with the facebook app, i open it, enter my details, and select the internet connection i want, but then it either says connection error or just closes the app, my internet app itself works fine with my internet connection so i know its my internet, i tried uninstalling the facebook app, but it says uninstall not allowed, i do not know what to do now, Ive tried repairing my phone, and Ive tried installing the software for it again, but nothing.

Jul 6, 2010When I try to connect with facebook and the eplus-internet connection is not available the facebook application searches always for a WiFi. If this is not accessible I cannot cancel the application because it is searching still for the WiFi. I have to turn of the phone and turn on again.

Nov 17, 2010i have installed the latest update for the vivaz (i live in uk). on my phone it says the version is 1124-4699_r2ea021. software version date - 22/07/10. but on the sony ericsson site for updates it has a date of 27/08/2010 for latest update. on the info for the latest update on the site it says: get the latest software with new facebook™ panel and performance improvements when multitasking. update your phone software to get optimal performance and the latest enhancements.
the latest software includes new features and improvements such as:
- new facebook™ and roadsync™ panels on the standby screen.
- improvements in phone start up time.
- enhanced performance and functionality for Internet™, facebook™, and roadsync™.
- stability improvement in the areas of w-lan, mms and internet.

but i don't seem to have any of them. i certainly haven't noticed any update with facebook. were it says new facebook panel on the standby screen is that for the sony ericsson standby screen? if it is i don't have that either all i have on this screen is twitter not facebook, how do i do get the facebook panel on it? any ideas why my update version on my phone says a different date compared to what it has on the sony ericsson site but when i plug phone to computer to update it says i have the latest software?
