Hi, i have tried using the facebook application on my Sony W705, but whenever i try login to the application, it always throws an error "Login Failed". Can you please help to provide a solution to this application.

I'm having trouble logging into the Facebook App on my Elm, via Wifi. I was wondering if anybody else was having similar trouble and if they found a solution?

If this is not accessible I cannot cancel the application because it is searching still for the WiFi. I have to turn of the phone and turn on again.

The peolple who help me repaired my phone changed my phone's software version to R1GA030 but i found that all my WMA musics files stored in memory card shows "playback failed" whenever i wanna play it. I use to be able to, but now when I complete my log in name and password and press Log In, it returns with a message saying that I have to Log in first? I used to use wi-fi nearly 5 times in a day (my house has wi-fi) And suddenly about a month back, my wi-fi has stopped working. I mean, it doesn't detect any available networks at all. Earlier it used to automatically detect my home network, but now even if I try to search available networks it shows a blank list - I have even tried searching in places like airports, hotels, etc. as Wi-Fi was one of the main reasons I bought this phone for. I'm having a hard time without it.

There seems to be a problem either with installing the drivers for the device or the device not being recognized because it "doesn't have a signature".?! It can be recognized and connects properly when in USB mode, which is strange, but it no longer has a 'phone mode' option, only a 'PC mode' option. The phone works fine by itself but I need to restore all my data to it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software many times and checked my USB ports and cable. Any other ideas for me to try?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI own a W705 and for the past couple of days the external speaker has stopped working. This means I cannot hear the ring tone, handsfree calls or any music.Also, the headphones which come with the phone stopped working about 2 months ago.PLUS. the charger doesn't always work (it will display the charging icon on the screen, but when I unplug it in the morning it hasn't charged at all. v annoying!). When it DOES say it's charging if you even slightly touch the jack part which is connected to the phone, it thinks it has been disconnected and stops charging (this also happened to my old K6..something, which had the exact same power/headphone socket - so i know this isn't a one-off fault. again, V annoying!). Anyway, the phone was bought unbranded in the UK last Christmas, I live in Cambridge UK and would like to know where I can take the phone to have it repaired or replaced.

It is costing me money The phone I have is a Sony Ericsson W705.
I can renew my contract and I'm able to get a C903, C902 or W705 for free. I actually want the C901 GreenHeart, but I'm not really keen on paying extra money for it. Maybe by the end of the month it's price will come down so that I can get it free, but else I'll have to choose between those two.
I'm not really looking after a daily phone, just something for my collection and to use occasionally. I know the differences between the phones, but the thing I'd really like to know is which one would be easier to trade for some other SE phone? Anyone any idea on that, or even an offer yet?
