HTC offers a program that will allow this. Do any of you know if there is a third party/motorola app that will allow this?
I just ordered a Droid x2 and I'm looking for some software that will enable synchronization between Microsoft Outlook for my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. what desktop software works for this function?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWith previous Android Motorola phones, there weren't issues with sending emails and showing in the Sent folder. But the Turbo doesn't have a 'native' email app so I downloaded the Outlook app. Many emails that I 'send' don't show in 'Sent' folder (or received by recipient). Tech support says they're aware of the problem and are working on it. But for now I'm stuck without a trustworthy email app.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs of Dec. 14, Google discontinued support of the sync between the mobile and Outlook. They said that you could still use it but it doesn't work. I have both Comcast and Outlook. I got Outlook so I could sync with Google on the Droid. Is there any EASY way to get a calendar on the Droid that will sync with Outlook or Comcast?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter the recent GB update on my Droid X2 I am no longer able to access my outloook webmail url using the browser. Before being forced to take the GB update, I could type in https://webmail.medplus.com. I would get a certificate message and after hitting continue I would get the prompt for user name and password. I've tried other browsers with no luck. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon support and we've narrowed it down to only phone that have GB software. I had this exact same issue with my Droid X when I got that GB update and moved to the X2 because that wasn't supposed to get GB. I've tried other android phones and those without GB I can access the site without issue.
Is anyone else having trouble accessing an outlook webmail url thru their browser with the GB update? My suspicion is that after the update google isn't playing well with microsoft as I've noticed some issues with hotmail post update that didn't exist preupdate.
I have accumulated over 1400 contacts in Outlook over the last 10 years. So, when I purchased my Droid 2 last year, there was no problem importing them into the phone with the exchange server. But, when the number increased above 1500, I noticed that the phone only accommodates 1487. note that I don't import contacts from other sources like Google or a social networking site.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was surprised to find that the Droid Razr HD does not have a Tasks To Do or Notes app that corresponds to the Microsoft Outlook. I'm looking for reliable Apps for the phone that will sync with Outlook on my PC. I do not want to leave my private information in a cloud where some 14-year-old hacker can get at it. I want to sync with a cord just as I am doing now between Outlook and Droid pre-installed apps. I do that now with "AndroidSync" but there's nothing to sync those other two catgories with yet. Any advice on apps that do those chores and sync directly to the PC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new RAZR XT910 and I'm starting to get a really uneasy feeling that I'm not going to be able to sync it with my Outlook calendaring and scheduling like I used to do with my old Nokia E63.
I was working under the assumption that there would be hundreds of apps on the new Android phones that would be able to do simple things like this? so far I haven't really found anything?
I found Motorola PC Suite 5.1 but I haven't downloaded and tried it yet ... has anyone used this software or can anyone advise some other application that will sync Calendering, scheduling, contacts etc with Outlook and with Lotus Notes?
I need to sync outlook for work , but I'd also like to sync with Lotus Notes at home if possible (far superior to Outlook)
By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.
I have a new Razr Maxx and my email and calendar are syncing with my office Outlook account, but I can't get the contacts to sync. They were loaded originally (at the Verizon Wireless store) off of my old phone, but they will not sync.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there an easy way to sync Outlook contacts and calendar without Exchange? This is the only problem I have encountered with my new Bionic. The calendar synced, but I have lost my categories, etc. The contacts synched, but I seem to have three of everything (???). Is there a way to delete all the contacts on the phone and start over? I find it hard to believe someone has not come up with an App to make a direct USB sync with the PC, given the Extensive use of Outlook...

My phone (DROID 3, less than a year old) won't connect to my computer, and I'm not sure if the issue is the phone or the computer. I have done all I can do on Motorola's troubleshooting/guided assistance pages. Downloading new drivers, restarting, and updating software hasn't worked. I'm using a Gateway laptop with Windows 7, and before the holiday season just passed my phone and my computer got along fine. Now, not so much, and I haven't done anything deliberate to cause this. No damages etc.My phone will begin charging when plugged into any USB port on my computer, and the computer recognizes something happened but a little alert bubble pops up saying "USB Device Not Recognized" each time. I can't access any of my phone's files from my computer the way I used to be able to, AutoPlay does not start up, and nothing I've done so far has worked to fix these issues.

i have two droid razrs on my verizon account. they are both currently with no service due to my brother sticking me with a 1500 dollar phone bill that being said one of them will not connect to wifi says "error" and thats all and the bluetooth isnt working either during my research i have found others with this same problem but no solution if neither connected i would probably shrug it off as verizon shut off my wifi access but that is not the case i have done hours of research and cant seem to find a solution on my own so my question or rather questions are as follows: How do i fix this issue if even possible? What could have caused this issue? What can i do to prevent this from happening again? Should i just try and get a replacement when i pay my bill and get service reconnected? my phones are not rooted or altered in anyway they are stock exactly the way you buy them at verizon store?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI tried to connect to my Droid Bionic to my computer today and it does not give me an option to connect via USB...it just say's charging. There is nothing in the notifications dropdown area and the drivers are not showing in the device manager inside windows 7 Pro 64bit.
I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted then installed them again but still nothing.
I tried this on 3 computers both 64 and 32 bit. The cable is good and it is the one that came with the phone. It does charge but no data transfering.
I cant connect to my job's wifi because the wifi requires me to enter a user id/name but the Bionic's proxy setting dont have a field where a user id/name can be entered. Does anyone know of a different way to connect or a different setup?
View 10 Replies View Relatedsuddenly my SD card decided that it was going to disappear, and even though it's there, my phone is not detecting it. I pulled the battery, removed the SD card and plugged it into my computer via adapter (not phone) and was able to access it. I put the SD card back in my phone, power up then go to Settings>SD Card & phone storage and under 'Mount SD card' it says "Insert an SD card for mounting". Okay ... so a few days later I exchanged SD cards with a "droid" friend and she was able to detect my card in her phone, but again my phone is not detecting her card. Bummer... Also, when I plug my phone into my computer via USB to Mac I am unable to establish a connection. I am using Android File Transfer. I have tried to format SD card (FAT32) with Disk Utility and still nothing... So I'm almost convinced that my phone is damaged. It was working last week.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo on saturday I tried manually installing the ICS update from over on droidforums. net.I know I know that is not advisable by most people However whats done is done. The install failed.I used the droid utility 1.7 to put gingerbread back on my phone. The phone works.I can go online, connect to wifi, make calls and doing everything like normal.I do however have a questions that i'm wondering if they are related to what I did.
1. I can't connect to 4G all of a sudden.I am only in a 4G area while i'm at work so the time I have to troubleshoot is limited.I did however read that other people are having a problem as well.I went to a store and they gave me a new sim card which didn't change anything. She believes its just the network.I guess time will tell on that.
2. I called customer support about the 4G thing and while going through the trouble shooting the guy asked for my IMEI number.in my phone it says unknown.I don't know if it ever showed a number but he seemed shocked that it said unknown so of course I think its something I did. i never told him or anyone at the store about trying to install the update in fear of them refusing to help me.
3.When I turn my phone on and the screen is loading up it takes a minute for it to get a signal.I sits there with a red circle with a line through it for a minute then the screen refreshes and I get service and 3G.Also while the screen is loading up I get a message in a blue box towards the bottom of the screen that says "Have a great day!" Which as nice as that is I never noticed that before.
AT&T U-verse just replaced my wireless gateway, and I can't get my Droid 2 to connect to it no matter what. I've tried entering the 10-digit network key (WPA/WPA2 PSK) many times, and I just get Scanning... then Connecting... then Disconnected. I've deleted the old "remembered" network and started from scratch, but it won't connect. My other wireless devices can connect to it fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have both a CommandOne bluetooth, and a Jabra Stone....both of which pair with my Droid X, but don't communicate....they both did at one time (the CommandOne stopped communicating during a conversation)....the Jabra who knows when it quit. Now I have two BT's neither of which I can use. I keep thinking I must be doing something wrong, but damned if I can figure it out. This should be pretty straight forward. I've turned off BT, and the restarted the phone, done multiple Discoveries, multiple retrys at connecting.
