Nov 17, 2011I am trying to set multiple alarms on my Droid 2 Global using the Alarm/Timer app that came with the phone.Let's say I set one at 6am and the next at 6:10am.The first alarm goes off fine. If I dismiss that alarm, the second one also works. But if I do not dismiss the first alarm, the second alarm never plays. I can see that it says the name of the second alarm on the display, but there is no sound.
The whole point is to have the second alarm play in case I sleep through the first alarm. If I sleep through the first alarm, I will not be able to dismiss the first one, so I need the second one to play out loud.Is there any way to fix this using the Alarm/Timer app?Or can someone recommend a better multiple alarm app?

Feb 13, 2012I like some of the ringtones that came with the phone and would like to try some of them for the alarm clock. The ringtones that show up as options for the built in alarm clock are way too jarring for me -- they would give me a heart attack.

Oct 27, 2012I just got ICS and due to extensive problems I did a factory reset. I'm trying to set up my alarms with the ringtones I used to use - and I have everything in folders on my SD card as shown below. However, the alarm doesn't seem to want to use these folders. If I select music I get a list of the 5,000 songs that I have in Google music which is of no use since that's in the cloud and I need alarm to function at all times.how to change the location for the alarm ringtones?

Apr 24, 2012I tried it and the Smart Actions at almost the same time. My alarm went wack so I uninstalled both. I had thought Smart Actions helped my battery because I accidentally left the screen in never sleep and the next morning it had not died. But the alarm caused the screen to go black and when I clicked to set an alarm it went black and even caused a restart. I have never had a black screen/lockup before. I uninstalled both and all is well.

Mar 16, 2012This morning was the second time in two months that the alarm clock on my phone didn't work. I've had my RAZR MAXX since the first week it was released, and I use it as my alarm clock every weekday. Most days it works just like it's supposed to, but this morning (and once probably a month ago), it never went off. When I unlocked the phone, the icon was in the Notification Bar as if it had been snoozed, but it had never gone off. My wife was already awake, and it was already about a half-hour past when it should have gone off, so I know I didn't press snooze.

Apr 3, 2012Occassionally, when my alarm goes off in the morning, it won't ring. It will just vibrate. I have no clue why this is happening. I thought I had it figured out but it happened again today. I think it has something to do with smart actions (even though I don't have a smart action for alarm).
My alarm goes off vibrate only, no sound and a box is on the screen saying the alarm clock needs force closed. Then my phone freezes up and I have to turn it off via power and volume key. I'm using the stock alarm clock too.

Jun 8, 2012After purchasing the HD dock, a set of external speakers, and setting the "Alarm & timer" app to play music I was disapopointed to find that the music only plays over the phone's speaker, and not through the external dock audio.I downloaded and installed both "Alarm clock plus" and "Alarm Clock Xtreme Free".Only "Alarm Clock Xtreme Free" has a setting that allows the alarm music to play over the external dock audio.I really would like to use the stock app, if for no other reason that it will auto run when placed into the HD dock.
Is there anyway to get the "Alarm & timer" app to send alarm music out over the ext audio?This seems like a bug that it doesn't.is there a way to "auto run" a different clock app when the phone is placed in the HD Dock?

Oct 31, 2012I have lablels assigned to my alarm clocks. In Gingerbread when the alarm went off it would dispaly the label on the screen.Are the ICS labels only displayed in the notification area? I could swear one time I did see the label appear over the large clock time on screen. I can't duplicate it though. See image.

Dec 15, 2012I have to take several medications during the day and use my phone alarm to remind me. My problem is that I carry my phone in my front pocket and sometimes when the alarm notice goes off, I take the phone out of my pocket and the window to turn off the alarm is no longer there. Taking the phone out of my pocket somehow removed the alarm window. I can't figure out how to turn off the alarm except to turn completely turn the whole phone off then turn it back on again (which takes a long time because it has to go through the whole boot process.
Does anyone know how to turn of a scheduled alarm when the alarm window is no longer on the screen?

When I hook up the phone through USB to organize or add/delete files using a computer, the next morning my alarm clock has defaulted to an on-phone ringtone. I was used to my sounds being different while I have the SD card actively unmounted, but the settings were always maintained when I returned.

Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

The problem is that I like to turn the volume off when I go to sleep (with just vibrate and no sound). I thought that an alarm would over-ride this setting, but it didn't. Aug 28, 2011About a month ago my Droid Pro started acting up. I would have 5 bars and yet when I placed or took a call zero bars and the party on the other line could not hear me or had very poor connection. In addition I would receive notice of "no service" in areas normally served. At one point the system was setting to global connection on it's own. Took it to Verizon and they changed it back to CDMA. But still the same problem and on occasion i get a message of no CDMA service available. Went back to Verizon and did a factory reset, wiped out everything expect my contacts and still the same problem and now even worse. Now, when the phone rings it makes a weird Droid sounds and I still cannot be heard on the other end. Text and Internet work fine. Verizon says it is not enough of a problem to warrant a new phone, go figure.

Jun 20, 2010Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.
