Sep 24, 2012Why are my contact photos distorted in portrait view on atrix hd? I turn to landscape view they are back to normal?

Jun 4, 2011I'm trying to change which photo is displayed for certain contacts. Right now it automatically puts facebook photos, I'm trying to change it to a different picture. I go into the contact, click edit, tell it to use an existing photo, I crop the photo how I want it, click save, it shows the new photo in the edit screen, I click save again and it defaults back to the facebook photo.

Jul 20, 2012I'm unable to take a portrait photograph or video on my Razr. If I hold it in portrait mode, the icons don't rotate like they do on the Galaxy Nexus, there's no option to set it to portrait mode, and every picture ends up in landscape. Even if I disable Auto Rotate, they're all in landscape. This is a real pain in the butt because sometimes I need more detail on something that is taller than it is wide but I have to settle for the extra space of landscape. The Galaxy Nexus and Droid Bionic allow portrait photographs and video, why doesn't the Razr.

This happened once before but corrected itself. Is there a setting that can changed? My carrier, Bell Mobility, was of no assistance. Just told me to return the unit for repair which would take 6 - 8 weeks.

Dec 18, 2012I did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.

Twitter does not appear as an option for sharing a photo from Gallery or Camera, even though I have used the Twitter app to tweet without a photo. Can't figure out how to attach photo in Twitter either - paper clip symbol only gives option to insert Location or Webpage. Other people at my newspaper can tweet a photo really easy from HTC Inspire and iphone. On the Inspire they can tweet a photo they've already taken, or in the Twitter app, click on a camera icon, take a photo, add text and send the tweet.

Both calls has been made from a cell-phone to my motorola. All the contacts are stored under PHONE. There are no contacts neither in SIM1 nor in SIM2.

They have an easy toggle add on that you can go back and forth between mobile and desktop modes very quickly. If you must have the stock Android browser I have a trick for you too. Open up stock browser, in the url type "about:debug" Nothing will appear to happen. Now press menu>More>Settings>(in debug area) UAString>Desktop. You may have to refresh the Page for the new settings to take effect. Now you are surfing in desktop mode!
