Dec 4, 2012I have discovered that all of the pictures that I take in portrait orientation once emailed to someone they are switched to landscape. The pictures can not be rotated back to the proper orientation with out opening Paint program and rotating them manually. I take hundreds and thousands of pics of my life (kids, vacations etc..) and do not want to have to manipulate them later on once moved to my computer. If you lower the picture quality to 6mp it fixes the problem, also if you shoot the pic in HDR mode. I should not have to do this to make it work. Fail.

Nov 11, 2010My Blackberry 9800 Torch will no longer switch from portrait to landscape view in any application when I turn the unit on its side. It is stuck in portrait view. Very frustrating! This happened once before but corrected itself. Is there a setting that can changed? My carrier, Bell Mobility, was of no assistance. Just told me to return the unit for repair which would take 6 - 8 weeks.

Apr 30, 2012I recently downloaded Microsoft Mobile apps including word excel powerpoint using Nokia suite, in my Nokia E7 phone, the size was 50 mb, nokia suite confirmed that files are downloaded and installed and restarted the phone. But after restarting I can't see any changes in the microsoft apps. all the microsoft apps are as it was onenote, Lync, document, and powerpoint broadcast. but then where is word, excel and PowerPoint? Won't it come as a new icon?

Dec 1, 2011I have had a recurring issue with my screen not wanting to change orientation when I rotate the phone. This is especially frustrating since the portrait keyboard is difficulty for me to use. I have tried resets, battery pulls and most recently a security wipe. While the phone will work properly at first, the problem eventually recurs. I am assuming that I may have a faulty accelerometer. Is there a test that can confirm if this is the case?

White stripe only shows when light is coming direct to camera from a light source like fluorecent lamp and from a particular angle.Stripe shows in both portrait and landscape mode and always at same place. I am attaching 2 photos 1 taken in landscape and other in portrait.I have a protecting cover but it is not covering the camera lens.

I usually watch videos on chrome while laying on the bed so on my iphone i rotate the video to landscape and watch while the phone is portrait. Using the s6 was a bit different i had to use the phone 180 degrees so that the auto rotation wont disturb the video while watching it landcape on portrait.

I remember way back at the start of the year we basically concluded that the slow change from Landscape to Portrait and back was due to Honeycomb - some delay setting in SW. I was just at Best Buy and was able to compare the Xoom and Asus Transformer side by side. It's pretty evident that the Transformer switches a bit faster than the Xoom. So I am wondering if it is actually a hardware difference.Why is the change speed important? Well my theory (watching people compare all the tablets to the iPad) is that the iPad comes across as a much more polished device. The delay on the Android tablets make them look inferior.(BTW - was at BB to check out the Kindle Fire. Have it on pre-order to give as a birthday gift. I was considering to cancel the order, but based on playing with it, I think it will sufice)

Once I start doing a few calculations, the answer (whatever it is), is replaced on the screen by usually whatever the last digit is. Happens in both landscape and portrait modes. Anyone else experiencing this? I hated the stock calculator on my OG Droid, so often used other calculator apps from the Market, but with the Xoom, I actually really liked the stock calculator, and can't seem to find any good ones to replace that look good on the Xoom and work well with Honeycomb
