I keep getting an error message that the ICS software update has failed. The download process will finish, it will stop a little into the installation, restarts the phone and says the update failed. Is anyone else having this problem or know of any way that I can get the update to install?
couple of weeks ago i started having issues with the social networking (and perhaps messaging) widgets. I see there is a new message on the widget and when I click it all the panels are Loading with blank info, when I go back and it says there are no recent unseen updates and I click on it and see all updates I can see all of them however any pictures will not load as well.everything is else is working good. I tried factory reset and few other suggestions from around this forum with no luck. the only thing I didn't try yet is a new blur account.
This is the 2nd 32gb sd cards I brought and it still not working well on motorola atrix. When I sync video into my phone (mp4) only 3 out of 15 video that plays. Last thread I created they said it was the sd card that was corrupted so I brought a new one and this one is still the same. Is it atrix doesn't work on 32sd card?
As an update, I got my phone to quite boot looping by wiping system, cache, and data. I then reinstalled 2.3.6 via computer. This has fixed everything except my wifi. I unistalled logcat and then found highlighted in red that my wifi drivers were not functioning correctly. This does annoy me but I can still use my phone!
im using a bell atrix and my data has been wonky. My phone will show that it is connected to h+ with the up down arows showing but my phone is unable to open any web page or do a speed test. This issue is intermittent and a phone tester will provide a temporary fix. It even drops a connection during continuous data use. I register the Host Routing Table.
The error msg 'SIM not allowed MM #6' (may be #3, can't remember off hand) appears occasionally on my screen. Phone usually locks up and I need to reset power to continue.

Also it wont let me register my product which is my motorola atrix phone.
I can no longer view any media capture by this phone. It all says error displaying media. It only effects new media. Not media previously saved on ed card.st confidence in this is phones picture taking capabilities.
I am having an error with the WiFi of the Atrix 4G. It will not connect and when I go into settings it just says 'Error'. I have had the phone since it has come out and this has never happened before. I have wiped and restarted the phone twice and nothing has changed. I have attached pictures of the menu settings page and the toggle switch which just has the loading symbol and cant be switched on or off.
Two days ago my yahoo email stopped working and keeps saying "yahoo authentication error" I tried turning off and on my phone and deleting my account then set it up again but still no luck. Any suggestions beside factory reset?
When up connect my Atrix to my computer via the USB cable, I get the message, "Do you want to scan and fix MB860?" as wells as "Do you want to scan and fix SD card?" This happens on a Windows Vista and on a Windows 7 computer. The problem is not that I do not disconnect properly from the computer, as I always click that "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the tray (isn't that what they call it?) down on the right of the Taskbar, and then click the proper choice before unplugging the cable. If I tell it I do want to scan and fix, there is never any problem found after the scanning.
I've added my Gmail account just fine, but my Atrix 2 gives me an error every time I try setting up Yahoo Mail. Error Login to the account failed, please try again.I've verified the name and password by logging in with my desktop computer.
On Gingerbread and just put in a new SD Card and formatted/mounted. Set storage to SD Card and tried to save some pictures sent via SMS/text and am getting an "error saving attachment"I tired to change storage location to internal but that doesn't work either. The only thing that I can see that may be causing the problem is that the pictures were sent form a friend in Thailand and the file has Thai script characters in the filename. Is this a limitation of the phone/Android OS? Or am I missing a location pointing setting?
I was having wifi connectivity problems and my phone was really slow and the screen wasn't as responsive as it used to be. I restored the phone a couple times but I didn't help at all, i even went to AT&T but the guys couldn't help me much but they tried to. As I was searching I found the--Removed-- It gave a failed error and when trying to reboot, it gives and 0x1000 error.
I have a Motorola Atrix 2 and initially set up a Corporate Sync account several months ago. I had no issues with this account until last week, when my Exchange server migrated.I tried adding the new server name, but that did not fix the problem. I was advised by my company (Microsoft) tech support to delete the Corporate Sync account and then re-create it.I proceeded to create the Corporate Sync account via Setting > Accounts > Add Account > Corporate Sync, but when I keyed in my information (Email address, Password, Domain, and Username) and clicked Next, I received this error:Sorry! The application Accounts (process.com.motorola.setup) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.I have restarted the phone numerous times, but this error still occurs. I haven't found any helpful information online thus far
I wanted to do away from the security features (fingerprint swipe and PIN number) but I had to delete the Corporate Sync account before I could set the security to none. Then I went back to reinstall the Corporate Sync account but can't get the Exchange Serve to recognize my account info. Yes, I checked spelling and tried to reinstall dozens of times just to get "Error Logging to the account failed, please try again." I've checked and rechecked the data and I'm positive I've re-entered the account info correctly. And BTW - I'm not interested in purchasing Touchdown since I know my Atrix is capable of accessing my corporate exchange account.
Getting this error when they try to add a new account / update old account on Gingerbread? Trying to update my facebook password. Keep getting the error : "Error Adding Account. There is a problem with the clock on the device. Please contact customer service".
I cannot get my iPhone 4 to receive messages in imessage. I have 2 iphones on my account, I have done everything and it shows that it is on however still not working.
Just notice my phone just prompted new update 4.3.13 available for download. My existing version is 4.3.10 Anyone know what are the updates in 4.3.13.My phone is from Singtel - Singapore, non-rooted, original rom.
I was wondering if there was any word on the first/newest software update to the Motorola Atrix 2? I love this phone. I also loved the original Atrix, but with so many software issues on their latest update, and much complaining to AT&T that since Mototola's fix was to say forget it and make the Atrix 2, that should be my fix...I got AT&T to give me the Atrix 2 for free!!.Like I said I like this phone just as much as the original Iphone. So when I went in for my upgrade in August, instead of getting the Iphone 4 like everyone (and knowing the I4S was around the corner) I wanted something different. I get new phones all the time. The Atrix and Atrix 2 have been my favorites. I've had 0 issues. So if anyone knows if theres any software updates in the works, which im sure I get automatically anyway, let me know!
I have a Middle East Region Motorola Atrix with froyo 2.2.2 As Gingerbread is released in US few days back so Can anybody tell me when NON US ATRIX phones are supposed to be updated to Gingerbread and do i have to update it through Software update tool or OTA update.
Yesterday I downloaded and installed the gingerbread update. Following instructions I changed the usb mode to whatever the setting was that I needed to complete the update via computer file transfer (mass storage mode?). After completing the update I sat and played with all the shiney new features until my battery died (oops) and now I can't charge my phone because I can't power it on long enough to change the usb mode back to "none" or whatever. Is there a way to override this or externally change this? Prior to the update the usb would default back to charging mode if the battery died, I am happy about the updates, but this issue is a HUGE problem. I hadn't installed the usb driver on my computer to charge via usb connection, and the phone needs to be turned on in order to initialize thisdriver, so I can't even charge that way. If there is no way to externally change this setting, what in the world am I supposed to do to get my phone to turn back on?
Since I updated to the Gingerbread operating system the phone does not recognize the USB to charge and the pc is telling me that it cannot recognize the device either. I have tried to update drivers, but that has not worked.
After the battery died, the phone would flash on the Motoblur screen for a few seconds. Eventually (after more than 12 hours of the flashing on and off screen) it did charge up, but I don't know how to keep it charged and I cannot connect or sync with the computer. It is not the cable, as I have the same issue with the car charger connected.
I was able to do a External Reset, but it still has the same issue. AT&T doesn't know anything about it and has offered no solution. What should I do? Everything was working fine before the update. Is there any way to restore the old operating system?
My phone has been rooted for ages, and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the fact that I download the ICS update, reboot when prompted, and when phone boots up again, I get message box saying "Software Update Failed."
