On my Icon with the 'people' live tile there are a bunch of red symbol pictures in there. I've checked my email+account there are no issues (all seem to be connected) so I'm not sure what's causing this issue. I've done a power cycle and that hasn't resolved the issue.

I constantly see the same few pictures in the Pictures live tiles. Is this normal? It would be much nicer if everytime a different picture is shown.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust got my phone and right off the bat I took some pictures and there is some distortion warping going on the top part of some of my pictures. It is more evident in pictures where peoples heads are near the top. Essentially their heads look bulbous like aliens.This has happened at different distances from a couple feet to about 10 feet, with no movement from the subject. With and without flash. All settings are on auto. I've used both the windows phone camera app and Nokia camera app. I wanted to know if perhaps I'm doing something wrong or if the phone is defective.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen taking pictures in darker scenes that the flash ruins the picture by making it look more red than it should be ? I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something.

My main question at this point is the ability to automatically sync pictures to my desktop. My last phone was a Motorola Razr Maxx which automatically downloaded all photos I took to my desktop as soon as it connected to my wifi. Is there an option similar with the WP8? I have Google Drive and just set up One Drive but I would rather have it hit my wifi to copy files down locally. I know I can do it manually but I like not having to worry about it.
I am a frequent concert goer (usually 5+ a month) and since I got my Icon a few months ago I find myself having to screenshot my videos rather than use the pictures I took during the show. Don't get me wrong, the Icon does take the best videos I've seen on a phone and the sound is perfect. But my pictures always seem to end up blurry rather even when I am holding still. I use the Nokia Procam app and tried the stock app but even changing the settings and modes doesn't work....

Recently I've bought an Galaxy S6. My ROM is the Stock 5.1.1. It has an icon in the right part of the topbar, right next to the wireless symbol.
It's an icon with a telephone receiver that have some waves coming out of it. I've searched for a solution of how to remove it, but the only one that's close to it it's the Speaker On icon.
Just got a new bold 9900 today and when I put the battery in, the battery icon shows up with a red cros and an hour glass turning round and round? So frustrating, what does this mean? do I have a faulty battery?

I just upgraded from a Lumia 920 to a 950. I did a full restore from my backup. Facebook, Twitter and Skype contacts show up fine in the People Hub contacts - but unfortunately LinkedIn is no longer there. When I go to settings in the LinkedIn app and hit "Sync Contacts" - it takes me to the email and accounts setting on my 950, but there is no LinkedIn account to add.

It has over a thousand people beause it imported all my facebook, skype, google and etc. on there. So when I try to search someone or just push search the entire list of over a thousand people pop up and I dont want to look at a bunch of random facebook friends when in reality I only call about 10 people regularly on that list. I have tried to filter and it just says synching then goes back to the home screen. I have tried filtering and a few other things but it just continously says synching in the top right corner. I've tried to call the 3282 data number, and it always tells me I'm at 0 even though I know i've been on the data network and not wifi.Also, can someone explain to me how much data something like the people tile/email account setup uses? I've never understood apps like that coming from suuper old phones. Is it constantly checking your email/facebook? On some time interval? I'd really like to set up facebook and such with the people tile because it seems really nifty, but I don't want to go over my 2gb plan. I just don't terribly understand how it all works, and i'd be willing to try it out if I could see how much data i'm using..but that goes back to my first question...In the past when checking email/facebook I'd always just use the internet browser on my old Nokia e71x, and it wasn't giving me updates in real time like I know this guy is capable of. I receive all other people's group texts without problems (I've got a 1020, AT&T), but one friend (android, Verizon) texts the group and I can't see her texts. I see her name come up in a bubble, but can't see the text. However, she can text me pictures in a group text - go figure!
