After 3 attempts downloading the Nokia revert software and each event took 90 minutes of my time .....after every download.... 'Software download corrupted'. Try again or cancel? I canceled ....
Staying with 8.1 for now!

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere is a lag when trying to wake the phone up. I will press the power button and it will take almost 4 seconds for the phone to wake up. This doesn't happen often, but often enough that I have to do a soft reset several times to correct the problem. Even then, it's still not 100% responsive. I'm on the latest DP and still having this issue.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI get very obvious scanlines when I use a 4 second shutter speed when I want to take pics of the night sky, or very dark rooms without using flash. My past Lumia 720 did a much better job and could actually take photos of the night sky with the stars and clouds, even at midnight.
Here are some examples.

Pictures taken with a shutter speed of less than 2 seconds come out fine, and daylight photos are flawless.

I made the mistake of putting the tech preview on my main driver and my battery is dying ridiculously fast (among other instabilities)...
Using PC Companion I have progressed to what I can only assume is the end of the preparation phase after 3 hours, the progress bar is complete; and then I get this meaningless message that the update failed.
This is very frustratiing as there is not much clue about what caused the failure. If it is because of a missing component, as pointed out already, why can PC Companion not check at the start of the marathon preparation that everything is in place and we will not waste so much time connected for nothing.
I have tried SUS and that fails because Windows can't find S1Boot with that remarkably phone procedure. I have looked at downloading S1Boot, as suggested, however then there are warnings on Warranty. Does PC Compantion/SUS download not contain S1Boot?
Used a File app to make up some photo albums for tt and Le Mans classic and in doing so I have lost the ability to open up photo with Nokia camera beta and look at info or even revert back to original photo if the photo has been zoomed. How to get original photos back.

Everytime I open the program I get the message; "Nokia Software Updater has attempted to connect to the internet but has failed three times. This could be because of a poor-quality, slow or intermittent internet connection, or restrictions due to a firewall.
If requested by your firewall, Nokia Software Updater needs the following applications to gain access to the internet:

I have a good, steady internet connection (10mb) and all firewalls are off.
I've had the X6 16GB for a couple of weeks now and whenever i try to download anything onto it or install it through my pc i get the error message "File corrupted". This happen with the pc suite update, ovi, skype and more. Can anyone help at all? I'd really appreciate any advice at all!

Curiously, the 5 mpx are fine.. When I check the size of the DNGs, I can see that they have, exactly, 1 byte less, in size, than the DNGs that Lightroom can edit.

I then got myself a samsung 2 gb card. Even that got corrupted. It says memory card need to be formatted. But when i try to format it says that the card cannot be formatted. I have seen few other posts mentioning the same problem.

Should I replace my device with a new one, I have got option till 26th Dec 2015. But will that solve, I have read a number of such complaints on thread, so I don't believe it is hardware.
