View 1 RepliesI just discovered that the 35 to 38MP photos aren't geotagged. I guess those smaller 5MP photos are good for something.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe other day I attended a concert and took plenty of photos, but I had a hard time getting any of them to turn out good due to the low light, distance from the stage and the movement on stage. How does one take a good low-light photo with lots of movement without the photo getting blurry on the 1520?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound. When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?
Strange bug after Nokia Camera update. All the pictures I took in the weekend seemingly disappeared from my Camera roll album. However, when I connected my phone to the PC, they all showed up on the phone's HD.
View 24 Replies View RelatedToday when out golfing I tried taking some smart cam photos and noticed after taking a couple in a row I couldn't go back and open them in Nokia camera to change the picture. Doesn't happen all the time but twice today I couldn't edit the photo.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm getting "Saving" after taking a couple photos in a row on my Icon. At first it would shoot and shoot, now I just get a couple and then it slows. I've filled up and emptied the phone a bunch (I shoot a LOT of photos/videos).

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo here's the scenario, I take a photo then "share" it to Facebook and everything looks good until I view my Facebook page. The post is set to "private" so that no one but me can see it. I can find no way to edit this in the app so I have to go to a computer and open Facebook in a browser to fix it.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI just got my Nokia Icon a couple months ago and wasn't really having any issues with pictures and videos uploading into skydrive. About a month ago, though, it just stopped working out of the blue. I'm trying to manually upload and it still doesn't work. I use my phone for work and don't have any easy way to transfer those files.

View 24 Replies View RelatedHas really horribly noisy low light photos and video? I recently went on a concert cruise, and everything during the day is stunningly crisp and detailed (audio is INSANE, by the way. SO good. Most people could not tell that it was recorded on a phone.) but photos and videos taken at night had a huge noise attack or something.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI get very obvious scanlines when I use a 4 second shutter speed when I want to take pics of the night sky, or very dark rooms without using flash. My past Lumia 720 did a much better job and could actually take photos of the night sky with the stars and clouds, even at midnight.
Here are some examples.
2 second shutter speed
4 second shutter speed
Pictures taken with a shutter speed of less than 2 seconds come out fine, and daylight photos are flawless.
i am the only one here that observe worst photos on focus points with 8.1 cyan update?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI used to have 920 and was able to pin just camera roll. However, on lumia 950, i am unable to pin.
I am able to pin photos but whenever it is opened, i see all the collection.
i don't want anyone who tries to access photos, it shows up the entire collection which I don't want them to see.
I have a strange situation with my camera results on my 950 when shooting indoors with artificial lightning. Photos come out like too much hdr was applied, like were darkened somehow although rich capture is off. I can see the photo looking fine but after a few secs the post processing is applying some sort of hdr or something that results in a worst looking picture.
View 10 Replies View RelatedThe camera is beast when I click in shadows, night or other places. But when it comes to sunlight, it fails badly. I've tried multiple settings but it just don't work. Due to photo editing apps in Lumia. They are best editing apps & I'm able to correct them though it.
When I click a photo of someone in sunlight, it puts yellow tint all over him and everywhere else. Skin colour also changes to full yellowish.
How to do a slideshow of pictures taken? There is no Play/Start Slideshow option in any Camera apps.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an older Dell computer with Windows XP. Professional SP3. When I plug my Lumia Icon into the computer it recognizes it as a camera. I would like to plug the phone into the computer to put music on the phone, how can I get the computer to see it as a phone, or storage device rather than a camera? I have an older Android phone that I can plug in and have it recognize as a phone/storage device.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI installed a new camera update on my 1020 the other day and I can no longer preview the photo immediately after taking the picture.
The only way to view it now is by checking it in the gallery. It was handy to preview the photo to check whether I needed to re-shoot it due to blurriness, blinking etc..
I've checked all the settings and I can't find an option to bring it back.
They are previewing in my skydrive upload folder, but not showing in my camera roll. When i take the photo it says "saving ..." but they're not. Tried both nokia cameras.
They're not uploading from skydrive despite being on WiFi. How I would save my holiday snaps.
So I got my Icon over the weekend and I've been playing around with it and I have a few questions about the camera settings. I was taking some pictures, and noticed that sometimes they were a bit blurry/not focused. I cannot tell if its me or the camera. Also, when I zoom in on the pictures, I feel that it looks more grainy than they should.
Also, side note - has power, volume and camera button feel slightly wiggly/loose? I noticed the side buttons on my Icon are not as firm as they were on my 928.
When taking pictures in darker scenes that the flash ruins the picture by making it look more red than it should be ? I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a used icon yesterday and downloaded Lumia camera. The app said I needed denim and maybe 20 min later I got a notification saying welcome to denim (no loading screen or spinning gears etc). I try Lumia camera again and it says I still need denim. Extras and info says I have denim and resets haven't solved the problem (simple power down and the volume power button combo).
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a Lumia Icon recently and on going through and testing out various functions, I noticed that the video recording has an odd noise whenever the camera autofocuses.
The device is up to date on everything, Windows 8.1 and Lumia Denim with the latest camera app.
Here is a sample of it (close range, but it does the same noise when focusing on anything )
Right near the end I switched it to manual focus (the "jump" in focus you see and possibly the sound when that happens), but then switched it back to auto which is the noise starting again.
This happens in both surround sound mode and not.
I'm just wondering if this is normal or not. All the sample videos I have looked for either have someone talking or music playing over the video audio itself, or else what is being recorded is noisy enough to possibly hide the autofocus noise if it exists.
I am a frequent concert goer (usually 5+ a month) and since I got my Icon a few months ago I find myself having to screenshot my videos rather than use the pictures I took during the show. Don't get me wrong, the Icon does take the best videos I've seen on a phone and the sound is perfect. But my pictures always seem to end up blurry rather even when I am holding still. I use the Nokia Procam app and tried the stock app but even changing the settings and modes doesn't work....
View 6 Replies View RelatedAnother issue that I'm seeing is that the camera roll (in the lumia camera app) will frequently cause the phone to crash/reset. I've had it happen at least 5 times so far.I suspect it has to do with the living images.
