Another issue that I'm seeing is that the camera roll (in the lumia camera app) will frequently cause the phone to crash/reset. I've had it happen at least 5 times so far.I suspect it has to do with the living images.

My messaging app, mail app and camera roll won't open. Everytime I try to open it, it doesnt fully load and crashes.My power button doesn't work, so i cant restart it. I have an iPhone 4s with 16G memory.

I am using a Lumia 1020 and it worked perfectly for almost 2 years until today... I installed time lapse studio excited to make time lapse videos... And then created a project from my files and deleted the picture file in the app and then found that it actually deleted every single photo in my camera roll and all other albums were also empty. Now have been trying for almost 4 hours to get Lumia camera to open but it crashes on launch. I tried many soft resets and re installed the app twice but no results.

I would like to plug the phone into the computer to put music on the phone, how can I get the computer to see it as a phone, or storage device rather than a camera? I have an older Android phone that I can plug in and have it recognize as a phone/storage device.

I am able to pin photos but whenever it is opened, i see all the collection.
i don't want anyone who tries to access photos, it shows up the entire collection which I don't want them to see.
How can I moive photos to different albums or to the camera roll?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI used to move my photo and video files from my Lumia 1020 to my PC (Windows XP updated to last version) connecting by USB cable. Now the Camera Roll folder is not visible anymore on the PC. I see all other folders (Sampe Pictures, Saved Pictures, Screenshots) in Pictures folder and all of content of those folders, also I'm able to modify it (copy, delete, rename etc.), but the folder Camera Roll is missing, also in the properties of Pictures folder the information about Camera Roll folder and s content is missing (the number of files in this folder doesn't shows up in counting: 3 folders and 84 files instead of 4 folders and 800 files). Also re-connecting the phone and the cable after shutting down the phone and turning it on automatically by connecting it by USB cable to PC This is an exact copy from Camera Roll folder of my Lumia 1020 is not visible anymore on a PC - Microsoft Community .

They're not uploading from skydrive despite being on WiFi. How I would save my holiday snaps.
I started with an intermittent text receiving issue a couple of days ago. Text will work fine, then they stop. After the that the only way to get them working again is a reboot. Called VZW, they ran tests on their side, etc. I'm thinking this is on the phone side.
This morning, the text app is giving me the "resuming" msg. and also started crashing. Also some other apps are crashing like looking at pictures.
Seems like a hard reset is needed here? I'm out of town, won't be back for 2 weeks. Need the phone to work, so if I hard reset, will I be in a need of a wifi to get the phone operational again?
I just picked up my iPhone 4 and I'm attempting to move my Camera Roll over from my old 3GS (running Jailbroken iOS 4.0.1). I've been looking through the files with DiskAid, but I'm not 100% what files are required to get the Camera Roll to transfer over.Can anyone assist me?

Every time I try to open the camera on my phone, a brief black screen appears and the app fails to open. Any other apps related to my camera (Snapchat, Facebook, etc.) experience the same issue. I have cleared data/caches, I have restarted my phone in safety mode, I've tried removing the SIM card -- all to no avail.

I literally just got this phone after I had to send in my previous HTC One which was exhibiting a different slew of problems (purple haze and being perpetually "awake"). Needless to say, I'm very frustrated. Can you all think of anything else I should try before having to send in a second phone in two weeks?
Since upgrading to IOS 5.1 when iPhone 4 is locked the camera icon does not open when selected. I have to unlock phone with my passcoded to use the camera. The feature worked with IOS 5.0.

I'm getting "Saving" after taking a couple photos in a row on my Icon. At first it would shoot and shoot, now I just get a couple and then it slows. I've filled up and emptied the phone a bunch (I shoot a LOT of photos/videos).

After Today's update I hade to hard reset due to Microsoft account issues. After phone rebooted most of the stock Nokia apps like camera were not installed, also I'm missing the ME tile. I've done reset twice and same thing happens.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I got my Icon over the weekend and I've been playing around with it and I have a few questions about the camera settings. I was taking some pictures, and noticed that sometimes they were a bit blurry/not focused. I cannot tell if its me or the camera. Also, when I zoom in on the pictures, I feel that it looks more grainy than they should.
Also, side note - has power, volume and camera button feel slightly wiggly/loose? I noticed the side buttons on my Icon are not as firm as they were on my 928.
When taking pictures in darker scenes that the flash ruins the picture by making it look more red than it should be ? I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something.

The app said I needed denim and maybe 20 min later I got a notification saying welcome to denim (no loading screen or spinning gears etc). I try Lumia camera again and it says I still need denim. Extras and info says I have denim and resets haven't solved the problem (simple power down and the volume power button combo).
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a Lumia Icon recently and on going through and testing out various functions, I noticed that the video recording has an odd noise whenever the camera autofocuses.
The device is up to date on everything, Windows 8.1 and Lumia Denim with the latest camera app.
Here is a sample of it (close range, but it does the same noise when focusing on anything )
Right near the end I switched it to manual focus (the "jump" in focus you see and possibly the sound when that happens), but then switched it back to auto which is the noise starting again.
This happens in both surround sound mode and not.
I'm just wondering if this is normal or not. All the sample videos I have looked for either have someone talking or music playing over the video audio itself, or else what is being recorded is noisy enough to possibly hide the autofocus noise if it exists.
I am a frequent concert goer (usually 5+ a month) and since I got my Icon a few months ago I find myself having to screenshot my videos rather than use the pictures I took during the show. Don't get me wrong, the Icon does take the best videos I've seen on a phone and the sound is perfect. But my pictures always seem to end up blurry rather even when I am holding still. I use the Nokia Procam app and tried the stock app but even changing the settings and modes doesn't work....
View 6 Replies View RelatedOdd; I noticed after upgrading to Denim official, the MS Camera is no longer on the app menu; I had it as a tile on my SS, so after restoring a backup, I still had it. But if you didn't, it seems the only way one could get to it would be to set it as the default camera app, then push the camera hardware button. Reminds me of how Nokia would yank the native maps from the menu, and people created tiles in the store that acted as shortcuts. With this update, native maps is in the menu, but now native camera is not.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound.When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?
So whenever I take pictures using the Nokia Camera app WITH the hard camera button on the side of the phone, it takes continues/multiple photos.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I upgraded to DP 8.1, I developed a couple of problems that I had hoped Denim would resolve. For example, my camera button stopped working. Also, I lost the function to hold my finger on the screen to move the cursor around in text. So I can't edit messages very easily. I was hoping these were issues with the DP version and Denim would resolve the problems. But I loaded the upgrade this morning, and none of these issues are resolved. I still can't use the camera button. And I still get hold my finger on the screen to get a cursor.
