I need to make it going calls for work (customer service calls) and how to do this. Ideally I could add a second SIM to my phone, switch to it, use my contacts and pay as I go for minutes. I don't need another contract. I have a 950XL.

All of a sudden, in the middle of a call, the other person could not hear me. It was not accidentally switched to speaker (I checked). After trying to call back a few times, I figured out it would work on speaker. I found a thread where someone said they took a pin and cleaned out the small mic, and that worked for them. Having no pin, I tried a paperclip ... and it seemed to work ... for a couple minutes. Now its back to speaker only! Also ... I now notice that when I try and use voice Google ... The phone does not hear my voice. This phone is only about 6 or 7 weeks old.

I have set up the important calls under a profile which only my girlfriend can call when I am on nights. However, whatever I do, the phone never rings, even when I have set up important calls only.
The calls history, missed calls, recieved calls, dialed numbers lists are not available on my sony k800i mobile. a techi wants €75. to fix a glitch or programme on my phone. any suggestions. A great phone, except for this issue which occured, not long after buying phone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedEverything functions fine on my iPhone 4 except the native phone app. I can dial out and answer calls. However, I cannot hear any sound coming out of the earpiece or speakerphone and the person on the other end of the line cannot hear me and the iPhone shows that we are connected. I use apps like Skype and Viber and I am able to make and receive phone calls fine. I can hear the caller and they can hear me. I restarted my iphone, I did a hard reset. I even backed up my iphone and restored it to default settings and the problem still persists.

I just bought a new ringtone the other day. It worked the whole day I had it, I set it up to ring for my texts. The last day or so it doesn't play when I get an incoming texts, the ringtone plays just fine for incoming phone calls.

How the Droid 3 handles multiple calls? When I make an outbound second call, and that call is completed, how do I end that call and return to the first call? When I receive a second call, how do I end that call and return to the first? Apparently I get only one 'add a call' per existing call - the 'add a call' button is greyed out after one use. The very brief owner's manual says nothing about the additional call feature. Is there something available on-line that better addresses all the features of the phone?

The ring tone just will not work or at least when someone calls me its silent. I have gone through every profile and rebooted a thousand times, but it just wont work. Any ideas?
Running OS v.5.0.0.1006 (bundle1644, Platform 4.2.0.437). Sometime today the sound notifications stop working on my phone. Vibration still works and I can hear MP3 songs via the handset speaker only {not speakerphone}. I have tried a hard reset by removing the battery and by pressing Alt-uparrow-Del. I checked for available software updates and it stated there are none available. Any ways to restore the sound for my notifications?

I just got my Lumia yesterday evening. I'm from Malaysia by the way. The problem presist whenever I'm making a call or even when someone calls me, I can't seem to end the calls. Whenever I'm making an outgoing calls, the screen goes blank, and all the buttons including the back, home and search buttons becomes unresponsive. The only way to end calls is to wait for the other party to end the call, or I just have to wait until the dial tones end. What if the other party has their voicemail enabled? I have to wait until the voicemail call ends, then only I can continue using my phone. either those or I just had to switch off the phone by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

Since two months I own a new Opel Ampera.Since three months I own a new Nokia Lumia 800.But, these two don't like eachother.My phone and car connect to eachother, phonebook entries are exchanged, receiving calls is ok, but starting a call using the handsfree kit of my Opel Ampera does not work.According to the manual of my car it supports two protocols:
- Sim Access Profile, this is not supported by the Lumia 800
- Universal Handsfree Protocol (UHP), which is used in my case.
I think this is a defect in the software of the Lumia 800, since other phones work fine with the Ampera, also for initiating a call.
with growing trend my 800 is picking calls by itself. E.g. I'm in a meeting, phone is on a desk, normal profile (ringtone). Suddenly I see the blank screen lighting up and call coming, the phone does play ringtone and the call is automaticly answered -> I can see "end call" button, if I try to speak to the phone the other person hears my voice "beyond grave", but I hear nothing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have uninstalled the "SMS + Call Filter" app (had to do this through Storage settings - what's up with that?), and reinstalled the SMS + Call Filter app using the SysAppPusher app. It still fails when I try to use it: "Something went wrong"
If I long-press a number in Call History, it allows me to process that number. However, the number really isn't blocked - it continues to ring.
From reading Windows Central forum posts, as well as other fora, this appears to be a prevalent problem with the 950 and Windows Mobile.
I will buy Lumia 950 XL if i can record phone calls.
