Nokia Lumia :: Can't Initiate Calls On 800 Using HF Kit

Since two months I own a new Opel Ampera.Since three months I own a new Nokia Lumia 800.But, these two don't like eachother.My phone and car connect to eachother, phonebook entries are exchanged, receiving calls is ok, but starting a call using the handsfree kit of my Opel Ampera does not work.According to the manual of my car it supports two protocols:
- Sim Access Profile, this is not supported by the Lumia 800
- Universal Handsfree Protocol (UHP), which is used in my case.
I think this is a defect in the software of the Lumia 800, since other phones work fine with the Ampera, also for initiating a call.
I just got my Lumia yesterday evening. I'm from Malaysia by the way. The problem presist whenever I'm making a call or even when someone calls me, I can't seem to end the calls. Whenever I'm making an outgoing calls, the screen goes blank, and all the buttons including the back, home and search buttons becomes unresponsive. The only way to end calls is to wait for the other party to end the call, or I just have to wait until the dial tones end. What if the other party has their voicemail enabled? I have to wait until the voicemail call ends, then only I can continue using my phone. either those or I just had to switch off the phone by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.
I've been using my Curve 8530 for about 1 1/2 years...within the last few days, while I can reply to received emails, I am now unable to initiate and send new emails.
For some reason, since yesterday, my phone has had sound problems. With earphones in, I can hear calls and music ok, and same with loudspeaker, but without earphones in or loudspeaker on, I can't hear music or the other person who is calling. Also, the person who I've rang/has called me can't hear me either. Ringtones and text tones work perfectly normal.
with growing trend my 800 is picking calls by itself. E.g. I'm in a meeting, phone is on a desk, normal profile (ringtone). Suddenly I see the blank screen lighting up and call coming, the phone does play ringtone and the call is automaticly answered -> I can see "end call" button, if I try to speak to the phone the other person hears my voice "beyond grave", but I hear nothing.
many people say me when i call them, that they hear my voice not clear, and voice goes up and down.it's problem with the mic of the phone? what can i do?
My lumia 710 seems to randomly drop calls for no particular reason, even when I have full bars on my signal, I did read someware on the Internet that its happened to others with the Lumia 710
How to forward the calls in lumia 920?I checked settings>calls+sms?There is only call waiting but no option for call forwarding as described in this option.
I bought a Lumia 900 for my girlfriend. She really wants video calling, and while, my phone is capable of it, it doesn't have the comfort of skype, so we have no choice but to use 3G+ video calling through the operator, which should be fine with my subscription, except, her Lumia doesn't seem to work with this variety of video calling. .
I can use my phone to video call other phones, but not a Windows Phone. Our operator's Customer Service agents aren't exactly familiar with Windows Phone, so they seem clueless. I can't resort to Skype-to-operator type of calling, because then I'd have to pay for Skype Credits AND her 3G. .
In a nutshell, I need ideo calling without using Skype or Tango.

I just got my new Lumia yesterday, have set everything up. However I've had 3 incoming calls, all which come up with answer/reject, then that screen disappears within a second so I've been unable to accept the calls. The screen shown is as if the call has been auto-answered but there is no one on the line.
Can not make outgoing calls on Nokia 610 ! Once I go to call settings and set ``show caller Id`` to MY CONTACTS it works , but it keeps on jumping back to SHOW EVERYONE and then I can`t make outgoing calls ?? Please , I need help ?Is there a way to downgrade firmware maybe ?
I just got a Nokia Lumia 710 a week and a half back from Wind Mobile, and just yesterday it started saying "No Service - Emergency Calls Only" So I looked through everywhere and tried turning it on and off, removing the sim card, etc, and nothing works.
I switched to 3G pack yesterday and I am not able to make calls.when I choose "highest speed as E" I am able to make voice calls but when I switch to "highest speed as 3G" I can't make voice calls.
why is phone my phone saying voicemail unavailable unavailable to initiate connection, and the voicemail does not light up and you cannot press ok and the screen on voicemail is locked.
My Lumia 920 has issues disconnecting from voice calls when I hang up a fraction of a second after the person on the other line. I almost always get a call was dropped message. I had my phone reboot and get stuck on the Nokia splash screen once.
I have a lumia 900. Is there a way to send certain calls right to voicemail? I use my cell phone for my business and I get telemarketing calls on occasion (Business phones are exempt from DNC). It's nice to send future calls right to voicemail. My android phone used to have this feature and I have tried with Nokia to no avail.
this has happened since I had the phone, but due to annoying shift patterns we couldnt take the phone back to be exchanged. The phone has just been repaired for a broken screen (glass, not LCD) and the software updated, so I had high hopes that this would be fixed, but it still wont receive calls & texts unless on charge.
I have a nokia lumia 800, when im on a call the screen stays blank so i cant access any of the in call options? i dont have a screen protector on the phone, i have run the diagnostics app and the the proximity sensor is responding fine!! so it leads me to think its a software issue?
I got a Nokia Lumia 610 two weeks ago on contract. Love it. My type of phone. Problem is, recently I cannot recieve incoming calls from my friends and family. Some are important. Now, this mainly happens when I am at home. I went to Phones4u when I got it from and they said 'oh its your signal'. But I checked my signal online through Vodafone... guess what? My phone can recieve calls and text messages. My mum has an Blackberry and she can recieve incoming calls, she lives in the same house as me.I just do not get it. Is there something wrong with the phone? Is it the signal? Just need some help because I am missing important phone calls from my friends and family.
The blue tooth pairing on My Lumia 900 only works for either calls or music. Secondly only music on my phone streams on my cars blue tooth. Sound from videos in phone or live music from radio station apps does not.
I've recently acquired a Lumina 920 with Windows Phone 8. I can pair the phone with the car (or car with phone) just fine. I can also make and receive calls, but the phonebook will not sync with the car. This is a deal breaker for me, as I've had multiple IPhone/Android phones that handle this seemingly common operation without any trouble at all.As an experiment, I paired this phone with another car, and the phone book DOES sync. What I get is a message appears on the phone asking for permission to share contacts This does not happen with my car, however.
1. I can't disconnect calls. I generally happens when I'm on back to back calls. The phone becomes unresponsive for about 10~15 seconds before you could do anything with it.
2. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, I hear a sharp noise when phone call overlaps music. Once I disconnect the call, the volume in the headsets remains fixed, you can't reduce or increase the volume. The solution here is to remove the headset from phone and plug them back in. If that doesn't work then re-start the phone!
Whenever I start or receive a phone call, my tethered laptops lose their internet connection. They still show a strong wifi network connection, but cannot access internet sites. Nokia support and my AT&T store say this should not happen and does not happen on their phones. I have the latest update, as of yesterday.
My voicemail isnt working when I go to it the message pops up and says "unable to initiate connection". Ive tried resetting the network and a bunch of other stuff but its still not working.
