May 8, 2012I just bought my iphone but yesterday I saw the mode on doesn't work.
I tried everything. I changed all things, I got on appstore ibrate, I restarted a phone and nothing.

Apr 24, 2011I am a new EVO user. I previously had a Blackberry and it had a Vibrate then Ring function on it, which allowed me to catch calls before the ringer kicked in. This was a great feature. I am not able set my phone to be on vibrate at certain times, as my schedule is not a set routine. I have looked for apps that would allow me to do this, without any luck. Someone suggested creating a ringtone and leave silence in the beginning, but all of the "custom ringtone apps" that I have tried, cannot do this.

Jul 20, 2011I have a blackberry curve 8330. The vibrate works well, but anytime I set the phone to normal or loud, it will not ring at all. I can hear the ringtones phone in the media section quite clearly but that's all. I have tried switching ringtones, I have checked all my settings, I have taken the battery out and put it back in, the phone is not on mute. I have even downloaded my own ringtone to the phone and that doesn't work either.

I put the phone in vibrate mode and text, emails will vibrate. However, incoming calls will not vibrate, just silent. I checked the sound settings and Silent mode is set to vibrate. Any ideas on how to set the incoming calls to vibrate?

Jan 14, 2010I was wondering if someone could help. I own an iPhone 3Gs and for some reason when in silent mode, the phone doesnt vibrate when i receive a new text message (sms). It vibrates when I receive a call in silent mode, and also when i receive a reminder from Intelliscreen alerting me of a missed call or new sms.
Basically the vibration function works for everything except when i receive a new sms in silent mode and when i flip the swtich from silent to ring (and vice versa).
Due to the above, i can only assume that its not a hardware issue since it does actually vibrate. this happened a few months after purchasing (and jailbreaking) the phone so i can only assume that this is being caused by an app that I have installed since it was fine for the first few months. I have checked the settings on the phone a million times (vibrate is on for silent and ring) and I cant work out why this is happening.
I have statusnotifier, ireal sms (v2) and quicksms installed. i dont know if they're causing the issue but i have installed them and the prob still remains.Is anybody else having the same problem or can advise on how to solve the problem? ive searched long and hard on the net and connot find a solution.

Jul 3, 2012for about 2 weeks i cannot receive incoming phone calls any more. Earlier it worked without problems. Now even in the phone log, no incoming calls are registered. I can make phone calls by myself, i can receive incoming calls by facetime, but no phone calls or sms. The phone is not muted (i tried the button already) . A complete reset of the phone did not change anything.

- On incoming calls only the contact name is displayed, and the name of the specific extension isnt' shown.
I'll be clear: I've contact Oren, with numbers: Home: 111, Mobile 222 and Tomer 333
When Oren calls I see only "Oren 111" or "Oren 222" etc. I want to see "Oren Home 111" or "Oren Tomer 333".

I played a lot with the settings, tried re-improting the numbers from google, tested my contacts on an Asus phone(there it worked) etc - nothing works on mine.
