i don't know why after one day of usage the main screen jams. When i sroll down (also if from bottom to top) it stops and i need to wait about 2-3 seconds until i can continue with scrolling. Seems like when the tiles need refresh or so.
Today when I was using my new lumia920(an app for reading)the phone just restarted by itself and stuck on the starting screen(black screen with white NOKIA),what should I do..
My phone wont start up, I keep getting stuck in the home screen. Ive tried removing battery etc. done a software update but keep stuck at same point. (After entering acces codes etc.) Just have the homescreen and some widgets which stop loading, at this point I cant even turn the phone off or anything. What can I do?
My Ovi Store app was on my menu screen, but when I updated it, it disappeared and it was placed in the folder "Collection". So I'm wondering, is it posibble to put the Ovi Store icon back on the menu screen again?
My Dad's HTC One M7 is stuck in the bootloader screen and is unable to boot to the main OS.
The phone has never been unlocked or rooted, I've never even seen the bootloader screen until now. The first thing it says in the bootloader screen is ****LOCKED****.
The only information I know is that prior to this, he was prompted for a system update which (he says!) looked official.
I've tried every option in the boot menu (fastboot, bootloader, recovery, recovery reset) and it just goes back to the main screen.
Is there a key combination that I'm missing? Was the system upgrade corrupt? I know next to nothing about Android bootloaders.
I have tried Googling for hours but all the results are from people trying to load a custom ROM or unlocking the bootloader - nothing about a 'normal' installation.
Last night i went to sleep with my blackberry turned on with full battery, this morning when i woke up no more than 6 hours later my phone was stuck on the start up/ loading screen with the blackberry logo and the loading bar 2/3 the way complete. The phone continues to stay at 2/3 the way finished and will not proceed with the booting up of the smart phone.
I'm not sure how it decided to turn off by itself durring the night, or why it will not boot up correctly. I've tried restarting it by taking out the battery and putting it back in numerous times but it will only load up to about 2/3 the way complete.
I have all my contacts synced with my gmail account and my app data is really not important to me so if there is a way to wipe out the device i would be ok with that option.
I've never dropped the phone, or damaged it in any way so this problem must be something technical. This is the second bold 9700 that i've had in the past 6 months, I havn't even had this phone for a whole month yet. I had to get this phone as a replacement for my original 9700 because of reoccuring technical issues.
Last night my wife noticed that it wouldn't turn on. There was nothing else unusual. Figuring the battery had completely drained, I placed it on the charger and went to bed. This morning, the phone still won't start (nothing on the screen at all); but the weird thing is the LED flash is constantly on. Of course, it's warm to the touch. I had to run to work, so I haven't had a chance to plug it into iTunes yet. I have repeatedly tried holding wake/power and home buttons together for 10 - 20 seconds.
So earlier I reset my phone by pressing Alt+Right Shift+Del.And since then it' just been freezing on the start up screen with the Blackberry logo and loading bar, the bar loads to 2/3 of the way full and then stops. I've tried pulling the battery out, plugging it into USB etc.
As the title says. The date on the start screen is stuck and doesn't change. Now it's tuesday, but it still says it's monday on the phone. The clock is ok. Also the calendar is ok (events and everything). This happened 3 times in the last month or so. I have a few programs running. The one I'm suspecting the most now is X-Plore (trial version). It's the only extra program that I'm running from a few days before when this bug didn't happen. But I'm not sure, since this is an old bug that happened quite some time before and I don't remember if X-Plore was running then. Also, when I'm entering some numbers on the start screen there is the correct date, but when I clear those numbers it shows the wrong date again. I don't know exactly what fixes it, a restart for sure, but also some other actions I think.
I have a big problem on my blackberry. My battery died last night. i went to charge it this morning and about half an hour later i turned my phone on. It got past the loading page and got stuck on the Tmobile startup screen. I cannot see my main home screen and pressing any of the buttons does not work either. Yet i can hear text messsages coming to my phone but cannot see them. Before the Tmobile startup screen a message appears saying 'media card inserted.' I took it out and it said 'media card removed.' I have restarted my blackberry by taking the battery out many times now it is not loading to the homepage.
I have to send my current phone in for repairs and was going to use my old LG F3 as a replacement until I get my current phone back from the shop.
When I tried to boot up the LG, it sticks on the LG start up screen. I tried to reset it by holding down the volume and on/off button, but all I get is a "fastboot" screen that does nothing.
I tried looking up information on this, but it's all technical talk and I don't understand any of it.
Any way to get this phone working again? I don't care if its wiped clean and have to start over.
It is very strange - the phone blocked and was unresponsive for some time, then I restarted it and it is stuck on the restart loading screen (the black screen with bb logo and the progress bar). If I wait 15 mins it goes to the next white screen with the bb logo but never manages to go any further even after 2 hours waiting.
I tried hard reset(battery pull), then I tried wiping it with JL cmder but it can't connect to the device because it is not loaded. Then I tried the desktop manager to update and install a new os but it just doesn't find any os although I have 2 os versions for bb 9780 installed on my pc.
while reset my 3G to factory setting it get stuck and couldn't start and couldn't start,i tried to restore it from i tune but its shows me error 1015 and couldn;t restore suggest me what to do. Info: iPhone 3G, iOS 4.1
I've got a brand new Curve 9300 less than a week ago. I've updated it's OS to version 6, and it worked perfectly. When I attempted to configure my email, it automatically asked to update with my carrier's email setup software. I just chose ok. I got three warning messages, which I don't exactly remember but it was about something may not function correctly (regarding to version difference). I just continued installation, and it asked for a reboot. When I rebooted the mobile, it goot stuck at the boot screen. Then nothing! The thin status bar bellow BlackBerry's logo fills up until it's full, then nothing happens. When I wait for longer time (a few minutes), I get a message on a white screen with a tiny font with "App Error 606", with one option of 'RESET'. I pulled out the battery and restored it a few times, nothing different. Notes:The LED does not do anything, except for a single red blink when it rebootsThe keboard seems to be responsive. I get the Alt and Shift indicators in the top right corner when I press themThe power button doens't seem to cause
I recently updated my old iPhone4 to iOS 7.1.2 and Garage band 2.0.1. Now, garage band will not start. It's stuck forever on the grey screen with the "Garage Band" title and nothing else. And after half a minute it backgrounds itself.Â
With iOS6 and the old Garage Band the phone worked just fine.
I can understand if it went slowly, had less tracks, etc. but this is not acceptable.Â
I reloaded the OS on my BB Torch 9800 and now when I start the phone it gets stuck on the licence agreement screen. I cannot scroll with either the touch screen or the track pad to accept.
I think I have bricked my phone I don't know how. I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.
This is a really trivial question compared but for some strange reason the app menu that you get when you swipe right in the main menu, started showing these search letters as dividers in the app list. I think they are a horrible waste of screen space but I can't find any menu where to actually change anything. The dividers are similar as in the phonebook but they are actually useful there since I have about 300 contacts there and only a few apps.
So I'm on day three with my 950XL and there are two glaring issues that I'm struggling with. One is the camera app shows the menu and pictures taken completely upside down, I've tried soft and hard resets also the Windows device tool with no change.
Odd; I noticed after upgrading to Denim official, the MS Camera is no longer on the app menu; I had it as a tile on my SS, so after restoring a backup, I still had it. But if you didn't, it seems the only way one could get to it would be to set it as the default camera app, then push the camera hardware button. Reminds me of how Nokia would yank the native maps from the menu, and people created tiles in the store that acted as shortcuts. With this update, native maps is in the menu, but now native camera is not.
I know that with my old Windows Phone 7, the menu was broken down in sections by the starting letter of the app (So it would say "A" and beneath it were all the A apps.) Currently, my menu list is just a list--no letter headings, so you can't push on say, S, and zip down to the S apps. (Kind of how you find people on the Facebook app.)I am not articulating this well, but do you know if there is a way to jump to a particular letter in the 920? Right now, I just have a long list of apps, which is time consuming.
I'm using a Nokia Lumia 800, with Vodafone Romania as mobile provider. When I go to Games, XBOX Live section is not available. So any games that I install and should be listed under this section cannot be accessed ( even if the installation wizard for the games completes succesfully). When I bought the phone I remember I unpined the XBOX Live tile from the initial screen; I dont remember hitting Uninstall..
On my Lumia 1020, long press on an office file and pop up menu gives an option to Pin To Start. Is this possible on 950? Because I can't get it to do that.
When I press the Music & Video tile it looks like it is going to load but then bounces back to the main menu.Does on the complete list menu as well.Did this once before for a while then started working agin. Also now the xBox Live games is doing the same thing .The Nokia Music tile works OK though. When it first happened I thought it was a low battery thing as the battery was lowish, but this time the battery is fully charged.
I'm on 8.1 DP and every time I restart my phone or it restarts for no reason It'll boot back up but then shuts down. It gets past the Verizon screen and then turns off without completing the boot phase. I have to keep turning it on.
Back in 7, or 8, there used to be an app that would allow you to create "Labels" on the start screen as some sort of separator...between tiles Is it still around for 10 mobile? I can merge tiles in to one big tile, but I am looking for something else...
