Back in 7, or 8, there used to be an app that would allow you to create "Labels" on the start screen as some sort of separator...between tiles Is it still around for 10 mobile? I can merge tiles in to one big tile, but I am looking for something else...

How can I create custom contact labels on my iphone 6 using iosĀ 8?

At random times the screen will start shaking as if it's trying to scroll two directions and it will sometimes randomly click things on the screen. It pulls up Cortana alot and the capacitive buttons will stop responding all together. It only stops when I press the power button to turn off the screen but it just randomly starts later. I've tried a soft reset and that did nothing.

Restored my 930 backup to my 950xl. My start lumia930 start screen didn't show up though. I didnt sign up fpr preview of wp10. Is that normal? Do I have tp reconfig my start screen.
Also, it seems to me that b the whites of my screen appear yellowish....
Update to cyan and have their 4th column of tiles go missing? I've looked in the settings menu but can't find any options to alter this configuration.

I've created the same route using different ways of creating the route, and the created route is different every time. If I create the route in Maps using the search facility, the route is different if I use an address via the people and contacts interface. And again it is different when using Drive.
I made the discovery when a suggested route made a 16.2 km de-tour on a 11 km stretch. More than a 100%. I'm now wondering if I dare to use NOKIA maps for my summer trip to Italy from Denmark.
NOKIA - make a navigation app where I can define my own waypoints. This is essential in every navigation system. optimize the app, so I can choose an alternative route - this is basic in most modern navigation systems.

The only other smartphone I've had prior to this was an iPhone and one thing Apple did right was making a backup image. If I had to get my phone replaced, I'd just sync it with iTunes and it the new phone immediately had all the settings and screens my old phone had right down to whatever websites I had up last.
I see there are backup options on here but it doesn't seem to actually make an image.
Seems like it should be a simple task, but is a hoop jumping nightmare on the 1020. I simply want to email a photo to my printer (Epson Artisan 730), which only prints pdf attachments (jpgs do not print with epson email connect). I've downloaded several apps that promise to be able to create a pdf from a jpg image file and then mail it, but none seem to deliver on that promise.
EDIT: Now have jpeg printing working via email. Problem was paper source and size. Unfortunately can only use 4x6 default size for photos. Still need pdf printing from the main paper cassette to get larger prints.

I linked my two personal accounts (G mail and Outlook) and renamed them as "personal email", then I kept my work email as a separate account. I could pin them as two different live tiles on the start page. It was great. So far, I have not been able to do this with the 950. Is this a "lost feature"?
View 9 Replies View RelatedOn my N82 I can edit labels in the contacts list so that I can create labels such as 'Mobile (Smart)' and 'Mobile (Globe)' so that, when my contact has two numbers, I know which is which.When I transferred all the data from N82 to my new N97mini, the customised labels have been discarded and the two examples above have reverted to 'Mobile'. Furthermore, I cannot find an option on the N97 to recreate these customised labels.Has this very useful facility been removed from the newer handset? If so, why?

Each time I go to the Sent or All Mail folders, it only shows the last emails I downloaded the last time I opened the folder. The mail app then takes about 1-3 minutes to d/l the new messages.Is there some trick to enabling push in gmail folders?
