Lumia 950 :: Printing To HP Officejet Which Is WiFi Enabled?
Dec 1, 2015How do I print from my Lumia 950 to my HP officejet which is WiFi enabled. I am able to print to it from my wife's android. The HPAio beta app from the store doesn't work at all. It says looking for printers and nothing happens . How can we print from this phone?

Apr 21, 2015So on my s3 I was able to wireless print to my hp that is on my home network.
When I used to print I think there was a samsung print server and a google print server. I think the google one is what worked.
However on the s6 there is only a samsung one. I did download the hp print app from the play store. When I go to print something it shows my printer however nothing comes out or of it is supposed to I cancel it after five minutes. The printer is on line and does work with a lap top.

Oct 23, 2014Don't know if it's just me, but occasionally I'll get my Wi-Fi tab (in Action Center and Settings) reporting that networks are "available" but it can't connect to any. Even my own network to which I connect all the time.
I have discovered that after a Reboot everything is back to normal. Wi-Fi connects fine.
I seem to have isolated it to when you leave a premises still connected Wi-Fi and let it drop-off you get this behaviour.
But surely you shouldn't have to turn Wi-Fi off every time you leave a place!!!

Dec 12, 2015Is there a known issues with the 950XL (or Win 10 in general) regarding wifi stability. My 950XL refuses to stay connected to the 5.0GHz wifi network. After reboot it will find and connect to the network fine, but after about 10 to 15 minutes the connection drops. When I go to the available wifi list, all the 5.0 GHz networks are missing and only the 2.4 GHz ones are offered. The only way I have found to get the phone to find the 5.0 GHz ones was forcing a reboot.

Aug 7, 2013Now that I'm taking more photos since I got the 1020, I've been printing a few of them. However, when I print (to 4x6 lately), the picture does not take up the whole area on the picture paper. I'm doing borderless printing, but there is still white area. Is this due to the 16x9 aspect when taking the pictures?
I can force the program to fill the entire paper, but then of course you lose a little bit of the picture. It hasn't been egregious yet, but I was wondering what the fix is? Perhaps I'm just missing something basic...

Feb 11, 2015So in my home I have an network extender set up to boost my WiFi on the side of my house where it is a little weaker. Speed tests show blasting upload/download speeds (50+ Down and 20+ Up) but I notice issues with notifications not coming over in real time or images within Instagram or Facebook taking forever to load. With the notification issue all of a sudden I will get a ton that flood in that are sometimes hours past when they were initially pushed. If I am connected to my main SSID (off the extender) things seem to come over fine. I checked the settings within the extender, but cannot seem to find anything that would either work or hinder things.

I get 3G in my area but I have been doing some research and as a result always keep edge on? That it's good for phone usage and text type applications like gmail chat and email? That if you are wanting to surf the Internet 3g and wifi is faster?
Basically the research that I have found is to keep edge on at all times and use 3g or wifi if you want faster results. Also keeping iPhone on edge network uses less battery?

Apr 22, 2010Okay so there's this WiFi network at school. It is unsecured, and my teacher always connects to it. On my iPhone 3G it never shows up, though after I scan for networks using Stumbler (Stumbler says it's not hidden btw) it appears in the settings. So I click on it and it says "Cannot connect" (or something along those lines) and after the third try it disappears again. I tried using SpoofMAC to spoof my mac address to 11:11:11:11:11 and that didn't work.
