I have a lumia 1320 and have a wifi router in my home...it was all fine and it was connecting well with the router..
yesterday i went to the store for some other problem and flashed the mobile..
Now am not able to connect to the wifi...
"can't connect:the wifi network didn't respond"
But when i tried connecting my friends mobile...it worked.the problem is with my lumia 1320...
im gettimg trouble with my phone its have an error constantly .....it says re - enter the
password to connect the wifi constantly.
My lumia 1020will not connect to my network. Yet my old 820 will. Same password same network....

However, I have a few clients that a visit regularly that use hidden WIFI networks or networks that do not broadcast. These normally have to be setup manually on the device, but I can't find anywhere in Windows 10 phone settings to deal with a manual wifi connection setup?

Wifi working fine as other devices are connected and working well.
Don't know if it's just me, but occasionally I'll get my Wi-Fi tab (in Action Center and Settings) reporting that networks are "available" but it can't connect to any. Even my own network to which I connect all the time.
I have discovered that after a Reboot everything is back to normal. Wi-Fi connects fine.
I seem to have isolated it to when you leave a premises still connected Wi-Fi and let it drop-off you get this behaviour.
But surely you shouldn't have to turn Wi-Fi off every time you leave a place!!!
Is there a known issues with the 950XL (or Win 10 in general) regarding wifi stability. My 950XL refuses to stay connected to the 5.0GHz wifi network. After reboot it will find and connect to the network fine, but after about 10 to 15 minutes the connection drops. When I go to the available wifi list, all the 5.0 GHz networks are missing and only the 2.4 GHz ones are offered. The only way I have found to get the phone to find the 5.0 GHz ones was forcing a reboot.

On my Nokia Lumia 1320, I am unable to connect to my Wi-Fi. It says "Your Phone Won't be able to connect to the internet provided by this network". My phone is able to connect to the other Wi-Fi and other phones are able to connect through my Wi-Fi.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI switched to Cricket from Virgin Mobile so I could go back to Windows with the 1320. In my 1st month with them I went over my 2.5 GB of data with about a week left in the month. In five years with VM I can count on one hand the times I went over 1.5 GB with them. Checking my data usage on Cricket's website I see 1-3 entries per day detailing my usage, some with very large amounts of data. Cricket CS tells me that my device uses their network first and Wi-Fi 2nd.
So in other words when I'm at home and connected to my home wi-fi the device will use Cricket's data even though it's connected to my Wifi. To fix this they told me I have to manually disable data from their network when I don't want to use it. Now this makes no sense to me since the 3 Android phones I've had did not do this once I connected to Wi-Fi the carrier's data was disabled. I think there must be a setting on the phone that must wrong that is keeping this from happening other that what Cricket CS told me. The way they explained it to me Wi-fi is useless because their data would be used regardless if it's connect or not.
I have a 1320 that I got brand new back on Black Friday from Cricket. The problem is after it has been on for a while, the wireless and/or bluetooth or both shutoff. When I bring the status bar down, the wireless icon and/or the bluetooth icon will be cleared out and not active. If I try to turn it back on, nothing happens, the icons stay black. I reboot and usually that fixes it but not always. Sometimes I have to reboot it a couple of times.
Also my phone sometimes reboots when I'm using the GPS to track my bike rides when the phone is in my bag. I know that because when I get to the end of my ride and check the app, Cyclometer, it stays "it has been shut off, do you want to resume" or something to that effect and then I resume it and a portion of my ride is missing from when it apparently has rebooted. I also have had it reboot on me in the middle of something that doesn't happen often.
My phone is on 8.1 and has no more pending updates. this is eating up my data plan because I normally use wireless at home. I also can't use my bluetooth speaker while riding because if I connect my bluetooth speaker to my phone, the bluetooth will shut off after about 15-25 minutes of use. It first starts to become somewhat intermittent for couple of minutes then bluetooth shuts off altogether.
Okay so there's this WiFi network at school. It is unsecured, and my teacher always connects to it. On my iPhone 3G it never shows up, though after I scan for networks using Stumbler (Stumbler says it's not hidden btw) it appears in the settings. So I click on it and it says "Cannot connect" (or something along those lines) and after the third try it disappears again. I tried using SpoofMAC to spoof my mac address to 11:11:11:11:11 and that didn't work.

I am thinking it is a password issue but the phone never asks me for my password. The wi-fi is locked so it needs a password.
