Connected everything to the Display Dock but it just keeps blinking red. My Lumia 950 doesn't recognize it either. Tried both DisplayPort and HDMI port. Couldn't find anything on this problem with Bing.
View 2 RepliesWhen using the supplied USB-C connector to use with my Display Dock that came with my new 950 Windows phone I'm prompting to try using a different cord.
I tried doing an update but the update available sits at 0%. I then tried a factory restore and still no luck.
I'm using a strong WI-FI connection but that does not seem to make any difference either.
I can't seem to get audio from my 950XL hooked to a display dock then to a monitor with hdmi cable. I thought that was working before but now I'm second guessing whether I ever tried this before. Does audio is supported through the display dock / hdmi cable or is something wrong after today's display dock update to 4.0?

With the power save mode on, the display flashes quickly.The phone does this continuously. I have already tried removing the battery and also backup and factory reset, with no result.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWondering if anyone else if experiencing this. I've replaced it in the mm dock several times and it is so dim I can barely see it. I have tried setting the display brightness to max and setting it to auto with no effect.I've set the night mode brightness on the mm dock setting to as bright as it can get with no change. BTW it is 1:30 in the afternoon. Interesting that at night when it should be dim it is as bright as it can be. Checked the clock and the DX2 knows the correct time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone has been acting up lately with the screen blinking between bright and normal and now it's stuck on bright with washed out colors. Its like a gradient from left to right, if you open the keyboard it's very apparent its like a gradient from white to gray. Looks like the left hand side of the screen is going overdrive and going as bright as it can almost?

Just got a brand new (straight from ATT fresh out of the box) Lumia 1020. Usually they come with a decent enough charge left in them to turn them on and go through setup etc.. however this one seemed totally dead so I figured the battery must have run out.
I plug it in to the wall using the charger that came with the phone and nothing happens, I switch over to plugging in via USB to my computer and the computer does recognize and install the drivers however the 1020 will not start.
I have noticed that the home (windows) button is blinking repeatedly and I assume that means its trying to charge however a few things
The windows button does not blink when plugged in to the wall socket, when plugged in via my USB hub the windows button blinks long slow blinks, when plugged directly in to my computers USB port the windows button blink short fast blinks.
At the top left of my N8 there is this blinking envelope and the 'sim card full' msg. appears as I touch it. no contacts and no sms on the sim card. Contacts > Options > Memory > SIM Memory - shows 0 Contact persons and Free=500.All SMS msgs are deleted (no unread sms).How to have this blinking stop?

Uhmm its not a major problem but i found it somewht annoying on my part because my friend has a nokia lumia 610 and i already tried what ive tried on my nokia lumia 900 and it seems that his phone has no problem regarding with the littleness blinking screen.. Hmmm it is only 6days old phone.,Fyi guys ive tried to adjust the brightness to low,medium and high. And switch to white screen background would i just reset the phone?? View 4 Replies View RelatedI have managed to sinc my Nokia Lumia 1020 and factory car charger with my vehicle radio via Bluetooth and it works fine for phone calls. However, turn-by-turn audible directions do not function when Bluetooth sinc is enabled. Voice commands from the maps are totally silent in this mode. That said, turn-by-turn directions DO work when not connected to Bluetooth, but only then. I am guessing that it is a software issue having to do with the navigation application that I am using and that came standard on this phone, but I do not know that for sure.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm on my second Motorola Standard Dock for the Droid. In each case the dock worked fine for a short time, then phone suddenly stopped going into "dock mode" when inserted. The connection is OK: Still charges the phone. Just no dock mode features, which is why I bought the dock in the first place. Tried every combination of seating while turned on/off, seating then turning on/off, powering and de-powering dock, etc. No dice. Phone docks fine and enters car dock mode with car cradle. Using provided charger(s) with dock(s). Have not tried full reset of phone due to hassle of reinstalling apps, etc., but powered up, removed battery, etc. Am I really so unlucky as to get two defective docks or is there a software issue here?

I've tried to get a screen grab showing this but then when I went to look at my screen grabs to show someone, and the screen grabs appeared normal, so definitely a display issue.

Everything else seems to be working, the phone is beeping on email alerts. I can connect to the computer and zune also shows it as connected. All the three buttons are lit as well. Pictures often look very yellow on the screen, though the same pictures look more accurate when viewed on other devices. It seems to me that a phone focused on taking pictures should have a screen that has more accurate colours.

The display is so sensitive that it registers even the smallest touches.There should be an option to change the sensitiveness. For example the click event could be generated after the button is pressed 100 ms. This should prevent unwanted clicks.
