He says that everything is fine during the day and when he is taking indoor low light pictures with the flash, but as soon as he take outdoor picture he is getting some kind of red blur in the top center of the photo, he sent me two examples:
His phone is on 8.1 and he is not sure is it software or hardware related.
Taking pics of the moon yet? I just did I gotta play around with shutter and sensitivity came out good but I think it could be better.
View 23 Replies View RelatedI was shooting the moon lately when I realized that the camera makes two very faint beep sounds when taking a picture.
As far as I can tell it's beeping when the shutter opens and closes...but only when taking a picture! No beeping when starting or closing the camera.
Before I run to the store to complain I wanted to ask if this is normal...I'm aware that all the clicking and rattling is...but beeping worries me.
"To quickly switch on the camera when your phone is locked, press and hold the camera key for a couple of seconds." < Nokia site
With my other phones(810, 925), if the phone was locked (with a pin) you could press the camera key and take photos without unlocking the phone.
Has this now been removed from the 1020? Now if i press the camera key I have to tap the pin to use the camera. BAD update or bug?
When i put my mobile for charging, it automatically starts taking pictures and continues taking them. It takes about 800 pictures within an hour. What I can do. Iv tried soft resetting many times but problem still remains. My phone becomes super heated after that. Its been 2 months since i bought my phone from an online store.
View 5 Replies View RelatedPictures shots from Nokia camera during daytime or normal shots is fine but when use with flash pictures most of the time under expose or complete dark. I notice the flash behavior, if camera flash fire twice the picture is fine but fire only once then the picture is totally dark. I already reset the phone twice but still the same.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI own a L720 but am very tempted to make a switch to L1020 in future once its officially available here. A major query I have is,
-The screen is off and I hit the camera button, how long does it take to take a picture and save?
-The battery to power ratio, is it good? (Can the phone last 1 full day without any issues?)
So I've been having this issue for a while now, and can't seem to figure out what's causing it. I mainly noticed it after downloading the 8.1 update, but I frequently have issues with the camera freezing when taking pictures. What happens is I will let the autofocus do it's thing, and then when I press the shutter, the autofocus thing stays on the screen, and nothing happens. I've figured out that if I just give it time, it will eventually snap the photo, but no photo is ever saved in the camera roll. I thought it was a thing with my SD card, but it happens when I open the camera fresh too, and not only in taking pictures one after another.
View 1 Replies View RelatedLumia 1520 with the latest version of the Nokia Camera app.
Here's the issue, every time I attempt to take a picture using the camera button in the right side of the phone using the Nokia Camera app, my Lumia 1520 will start taking pictures non-stop other unless I exit the app to stop it. Now if I take the picture using the Nokia Camera app on-screen button the phone will only take a single picture. I remember that this problem was not present when I got my Lumia 1520 in January of this year. My thinking is that this problem has to do with a software update to the Nokia Camera app.
I saw in the videos that we can take pictures without flash...but i'm unable to get any pics...it's dark . Just want to know what i'm doing wrong. I'm able to get pics with flash though...

Most of my camera use is to take a pictures of my kids. The problem is that I don't success to get a good pictures because the kids I always in movement and the Canberra doesn't focus on them well.I tried to set the shutter speed to be faster but the I get a darkness pictures. Why there is no modes like Nature, sport, kids, etc and the camera will set the values automatically due the selection mode? ( I had this feature in my android devices).
View 18 Replies View RelatedI wanted to take all my high res photos off of my 1020 to back them up, also to free space but when I connect it to my Windows Desktop PC and go to the camera roll folder and select all the high res photos, Windows constantly says an unexpected error occurred and cannot transfer the photos It asks if I want to try again and nothing works. I then tried to import the photos using iPhoto on my Macbook Pro and it sees the phone as 909, and just says Loading...I left it for 2 hours and still says loading. iPhoto didn't freeze it is just not reading the photos.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought a Lumia 1020 because of the greatest pictures in low light. But I saw a video that made me really love it. The video was about the 920... And I thought: if the 920 can do, the 1020 also, and maybe better.Mine 1020 do nothing even close to this video at extreme low light.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I take a picture it automatically goes into the Camera Roll folder. How do I move a picture from "camera roll" to "another folder" using the phone? Up to now I've had to download the picture to my computer and then use Windows Explorer to move it. I'm sure it must be able to be done on the phone itself.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 1020 seems to have a problem when set to infinity focus...the pictures end up a bit blurry. The strange thing is that on autofocus the picture is perfectly sharp...which makes me think this is a software issue rather than hardware.
I uploaded 2 pictures to show you the issue. Both were taken on a tripod and 2 seconds self timer to avoid handshake. ISO was set at 100 and everything else left on auto except for focus mode.

Got my 1020, it's great so far, loving the pictures. I've noticed one thing though, not a problem so much of a curiousity. The edges of my pictures seem to be stretched slightly, it's especially noticeable when someone is standing at the edge of the picture, they'll have a wide head.Is it something to do with the huge sensor?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo this morning my brand new 1020 is saying it's out of memory. I take a look, and it had been taking pictures (while sitting on the nightstand, plugged in and charging), all night long. Thousands of pictures. I've searched for this issue and am not coming up with anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Nokia Lumia 1020 for about a year, I believe. Just recently (within the last week), it has started taking blurry pictures. No matter what I do, the pictures are blurry. The farther away from the object I am, the blurrier they get. I know how to use my camera well, I have reset the settings on the camera app, done a soft reset on the phone, cleaned the lens, everything, but the pictures are still blurry.
View 5 Replies View Relatedjust got myself a Lumia 1020 yesterday(yay)The quality is superb and the audio recording is rich like fudge. But there's one thing that is the auto colour fix on my pictures after they're taken.I've search settings and all, but still no luck. View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a working way to upload the high quality pictures (41 MP or 34 MP) taken with our Nokia Pro Cam to SkyDrive? Or another way to share them without using a computer?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have two issues. I took a picture using Nokia camera app which is on default. Some pics didn't save.
Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
Do I have some kind of setting chosen that makes it lag so badly? I will click the shutter button and there's a big delay like it has to think about it and then it takes the picture. And by that time i've missed the shot I wanted to get or it's totally blurry.
