Do I have some kind of setting chosen that makes it lag so badly? I will click the shutter button and there's a big delay like it has to think about it and then it takes the picture. And by that time i've missed the shot I wanted to get or it's totally blurry.

Camera taking forever to take a picture? There is about a 2 second delay on mine that I can't find out how to get rid of. Keep missing out on those moment pics that happen. The camera takes good pics, when I can find a still already.

View 5 Replies View RelatedBut, I find the camera of mini pro little frustrating. I think the time gap between clicking the capture button and the time when actual pic is taken is quite significant. I tried using samsung galaxy S2 cam. I used both touch capture and button capture. There was no delay. You tap the screen or say, click the capture button and you instantly get a pic. I have tried clicking some birthday pics but my mini pro always misses the pics because it works on a delay of 3 seconds I feel.

I was looking through my phone because I don't have a lot of memory on it, and I realized it is taking about 2gbs of memory, which confused me because on my recently added it only showed about 100-150 photos. anyway so I went to general->about and at photos I see I have 700 pictures stored. where are these pictures? I did research and I found out it should be in the collections part but all the 700 pictures are not there. where are these pictures?

This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with my Torch and I was curious to see if anyone else was having this problem.
On the left side of my screen its a black "cloud" that appears. When I look into my camera lens, it looks as if the framing that protects the lens from the BlackBerry's shell has fallen and is in the way of the lens, creating that "cloud".
I bought my first phone brand new from Rogers and literally maybe 2 days after my 30 day warranty this happened. I got Rogers to send me a refurbished phone (which by the way had some scuffs in it) and within a few months, this happened again.
Does anyone know if Rogers or BlackBerry will fix this for me? If not does anyone know how much it costs?
My camera kept going off taking random pictures then i went to telus got a download and it has done it once so far then this morning it went to my password as it does after its been inactive for an hour and this time i cannot use the keys to type in my password. And it wont let me use the keys on the touch screen.

Whenever I take pictures of like notes and stuff (in the document mode), the quality is great, but when it comes to zooming in, the pixels don't clear up at all, they remain blurry, so in the end the document mode is a complete useless tool! I have seen other phones like the Iphone 4 or the blackberry torch have great quality even when zoomed in, the pixels clear up. I thought sony was known for its camera!

I mainly noticed it after downloading the 8.1 update, but I frequently have issues with the camera freezing when taking pictures. What happens is I will let the autofocus do it's thing, and then when I press the shutter, the autofocus thing stays on the screen, and nothing happens. I've figured out that if I just give it time, it will eventually snap the photo, but no photo is ever saved in the camera roll. I thought it was a thing with my SD card, but it happens when I open the camera fresh too, and not only in taking pictures one after another.

phone is 6 weeks old. Yesterday on the camera mode it just kept taking pictures by it self. I don't have the convenience key set up anymore, tried downgrading the OS not difference. No other application seems to be affected. Have done the battery pull nothing works.
