View 1 RepliesAbout a month ago my camera started taking weird "solarized" pictures. I tried downloading some different camera apps from the market and they all seemed to have the same issues. I cleared camera app data, safe mode test, battery pull, factory reset). The only thing I haven't tried yet is unmouting and reformatting the SD Card which seems to have an integral role in the camera's function.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently got a brand new phone after my screen broke and I filed a warranty claim through Asurion. With my new phone when i take pictures, sometimes they show up upside down. Not always but more often than not. My original phone never did this. Its pretty annoying to have to go back to the photo afterwards almost every time and edit and rotate it. I know the RAZR has the feature to show pics right side up no matter how you take the pic holding the phone but I guess somewhere in mine the calibration for this feature is off. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea how to re-calibrate it? Note: It doesn't matter how I hold the phone when it happens. No matter which way it is on the screen at the time, it flips it upside down after the pic shows up.
View 11 Replies View Relatedphone is 6 weeks old. Yesterday on the camera mode it just kept taking pictures by it self. I don't have the convenience key set up anymore, tried downgrading the OS not difference. No other application seems to be affected. Have done the battery pull nothing works.

Here's the issue, every time I attempt to take a picture using the camera button in the right side of the phone using the Nokia Camera app, my Lumia 1520 will start taking pictures non-stop other unless I exit the app to stop it. Now if I take the picture using the Nokia Camera app on-screen button the phone will only take a single picture. I remember that this problem was not present when I got my Lumia 1520 in January of this year. My thinking is that this problem has to do with a software update to the Nokia Camera app.
I've had my Droid 2 for a few months now and I've been happy with it, but as of a few days ago, it stopped taking a charge. It won't take a charge from an outlet, nor my Mac, PC or PS3, nor from a car charger. I have no idea what is wrong, and I haven't put any new apps on in about 3 weeks.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using an AC charger and it appears it will take a least 3 hours to go from 10 to 100%. Seems too long. Is this normal?
View 7 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else experienced this? It seems to take a very, very long time to retrieve the device model information. It is extremely quick up to that point, and then when the "round circular M" appears, it seems that it is stalled for some reason. I know I have more than 100 photos and a few videos, but should it take up to half an hour?

View 6 Replies View RelatedTaking a screen shot requires holding the power and volume down buttons for a few seconds. Couldn't it be done by just pressing them? Also, it should take the screen shot when the buttons are released. As it is now, everytime I force a reboot, I also take a screen shot.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Droid X2 keeps rebooting and crashing over and over. When I get past the lock screen it says. com.motorola.service.main has stopped responding or something similar to that, then it cycles through every other app saying they all crashed and the phone then reboots. I did not install anything prior to this and it was completely random...I am currently unable to use my phone right now since it will not stop rebooting. I have pulled out the battery and SD card to no avail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I recently noticed that when my flash is switched off on my galaxy S5 and I take a photo l, the photo is great. Then if I turn on the flash and take photo it looks like the photo is in negative, but it's red tinted almost like old photos before you had them developed. The photo after that is perfectly normal.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am getting double notifications for my text messages on my droid2. I have verified that I have turned off notifications (including default SMS App) on all but SMS Pop. Yet I keep getting 2 notifications 1) is using the message notification I set in SMS Pop and the other is the default notification sound.
How do I locate / kill the app making the default sound!?
I was having trouble with my contacts contact directory running extremely slowly and VZW support suggested resetting my phone.I did it and now my phone underlines all text in TXT and email messages using multi-touch keyboard. It does not do it in Swype. Does anyone know how to stop it? I tried pulling the battery out and restarting the phone a few minutes later. I also tried switching to Swype and then switching back to multi-touch keyboard.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI go through the contact list and there are addresses for people I never heard of or emailed. Then my Yahoo mail was hacked after I noticed this. It seems the phone takes all the people in my address book and does a google search or facebook search and it will actually add a photo of the person (which I do not want) and it will not let me delete these new mysterious entries? All VErizon said was I have to make sure contact sync in unchecked in the phone which is it but in Gmail there is no place to unsync contacts. I don't use Facebook, Twitter, or any other socila media site and I want my privacy protected. This is a huge issue because I had a stalker and it cost me a great deal of time and money getting restraining orders and moving from place to place while being located every time.
This is dangerous for me and the phone will not turn off my GPS or stop adding these people in my contacts that may have been on a website I visited. That's the only way I can figure this happened and the Yahoo mail got hacked at the same time.I don't know what elese to do, the phone is locked, the credential password is very hard to remember much less guess and everything is off. No GPS< no sync with anything accept the calendar via Gmail which I made sure is set to PRIVATE.My Gmail profile is also PRIVATE. If I logged in on a PC it will ask do you want to make your profile public so people can find you?
I don't see what type of FILTER I'm suppose to add in my Gmail account to stop this contact sync? Or contact list that grows and grows while I have done nothing.Weirder yet the Verizon rep said it happens when you connect the phone to a PC, that's why she said I need this filter to stop contacts from being added. But I don't have a PC anymore, it broke a few weeks ago and this incident happened last week. The phone wasn't connect to a PC for 6 weeks.Does anyone know how to make me private and stay private. I don't want any contacts added in my phone or Gmail unless I manually add them period. I don't send updates, don't want to and don't want updates from any one else.
I'm very happy with 4.4.4. I'm not a rom junkie tho I have rooted and rom'd a DNA. I just want my phone not to get lollipop.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI used the app last night and tried out the Internet Radio function...nice function.Powered off my phone and put it on the charger for the night. This morning when I turned on the phone the music app started on its own. I only discovered the problem after my battery went from 100% charge to like 88% charge in like an hour. When I checked to see what the heck was causing the battery drain I discovered the music app was the culprit. I force closed the app and powered off the phone. Waited a couple of minutes and powered the phone on. And yes, the music app once again was started on power up and I had to force close again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe just got rid of two internet services by using the mobile hotspot feature on our Razrs, saving literally $160.00 a month.
Problem: whenever the phone rings, it knocks me offline. It's like a flashback to the 1990s!
Question: How can I make my cell calls go directly into voicemail instead of ringing? Or is there something else I can do?
After installing the Motocast, the music started to repeatedly force close. Manage apps > All > Music > Clear
View 2 Replies View RelatedSomewhere in all the options I had found a place where I could choose to force close/stop certain applications after a period of time after I've closed them. I can't find the setting anywhere..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to like this phone so much but it keeps giving me problems. First, I am having the random reboot problem that is well documented on this and many other forums, so I won't go into that. One other thing that has been happening more frequently however is a problem with call volume. The phone will spontaneously stop using the earpiece for call audio and send the audio to the speakerphone on the back with the lowest volume setting. Adjusting the volume while in the call does not change anything, nor does turning on/off the speakerphone. This occurs during both in-coming and out-going calls. All other phone audio plays at normal volume levels, its just the audio during calls. It is extremely frustrating as the only way to fix it is to reboot the phone, so I have to hang up with whoever I am talking to and call back. Does anyone know any way to solve this problem? I'm hoping the pending Gingerbread update fixes these issues, but I am ready to return the phone and get something else if these aren't fixed.
