How to download the standard background pictures that come with the phone as I need the one of the sketched stag by the end of the week.
I have tried linking it via microusb to my PC and it does not display.
When I take a picture it automatically goes into the Camera Roll folder. How do I move a picture from "camera roll" to "another folder" using the phone? Up to now I've had to download the picture to my computer and then use Windows Explorer to move it. I'm sure it must be able to be done on the phone itself.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI wanted to take all my high res photos off of my 1020 to back them up, also to free space but when I connect it to my Windows Desktop PC and go to the camera roll folder and select all the high res photos, Windows constantly says an unexpected error occurred and cannot transfer the photos It asks if I want to try again and nothing works. I then tried to import the photos using iPhoto on my Macbook Pro and it sees the phone as 909, and just says Loading...I left it for 2 hours and still says loading. iPhoto didn't freeze it is just not reading the photos.

No matter what I do, the pictures are blurry. The farther away from the object I am, the blurrier they get. I know how to use my camera well, I have reset the settings on the camera app, done a soft reset on the phone, cleaned the lens, everything, but the pictures are still blurry.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a desktop pc with the 8.1 OS and the Nokia 1020 with the same. When I open IE on the Nokia, the favorites folder is synced with my desktop favorites. These favorites show up in two places on the phone.
(1) The favorites menu (2) a folder icon at the bottom of the favorites menu.
I can't figure out how to delete all favorites in both places on the phone only. I wish to keep the favorites on my desktop IE.
In the Nokia menu, I turned off all sync functions. In OneDrive, I turned off all sync functions. I even factory reset the phone after turning off all sync functions. The favorites for IE are still there in both places.
I used to move my photo and video files from my Lumia 1020 to my PC (Windows XP updated to last version) connecting by USB cable. Now the Camera Roll folder is not visible anymore on the PC. I see all other folders (Sampe Pictures, Saved Pictures, Screenshots) in Pictures folder and all of content of those folders, also I'm able to modify it (copy, delete, rename etc.), but the folder Camera Roll is missing, also in the properties of Pictures folder the information about Camera Roll folder and s content is missing (the number of files in this folder doesn't shows up in counting: 3 folders and 84 files instead of 4 folders and 800 files). Also re-connecting the phone and the cable after shutting down the phone and turning it on automatically by connecting it by USB cable to PC This is an exact copy from Camera Roll folder of my Lumia 1020 is not visible anymore on a PC - Microsoft Community .

My photos are automatically uploaded to my sky drive over mobile so sharing an album with them and they can view the photos in real time as I am taking photos (in theory!). Trouble is.... any photos I take goes to the camera roll folder/album. Is there anyway I can make any photos I snap to go to a certain album instead of camera roll?
Or does it sound like I need to get a specific app (though will it auto upload I wonder?)
I saw in the videos that we can take pictures without flash...but i'm unable to get any pics...it's dark . Just want to know what i'm doing wrong. I'm able to get pics with flash though...

Most of my camera use is to take a pictures of my kids.The problem is that I don't success to get a good pictures because the kids I always in movement and the Canberra doesn't focus on them well.I tried to set the shutter speed to be faster but the I get a darkness pictures.Why there is no modes like Nature,sport,kids,etc and the camera will set the values automatically due the selection mode? ( I had this feature in my android devices).

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 1020 seems to have a problem when set to infinity focus...the pictures end up a bit blurry. The strange thing is that on autofocus the picture is perfectly sharp...which makes me think this is a software issue rather than hardware.
I uploaded 2 pictures to show you the issue. Both were taken on a tripod and 2 seconds self timer to avoid handshake. ISO was set at 100 and everything else left on auto except for focus mode.

Got my 1020, it's great so far, loving the pictures. I've noticed one thing though, not a problem so much of a curiousity. The edges of my pictures seem to be stretched slightly, it's especially noticeable when someone is standing at the edge of the picture, they'll have a wide head.Is it something to do with the huge sensor?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my 1020 to my PC, the computer acknowledges that the phone is connected but can sometimes take forever to start to sync the photos to the PC. I have tried combinations of F5 etc. as well as disconnecting the phone and reconnecting it. Nothing happens! Then for no reason, it will start to download the photos and show the message "Everything's Done" .
