Lumia 950 :: How To Get Notifications For New Email To Other Folders Apart From Inbox
Jan 19, 2016I have been given a lumia 950 at work but used to have an android based phone. I have configured my work email and can see the inbox and all other folders as I should.
The problem then starts here, on my desktop outlook I have email rules that move new emails from certain people into relevant folders for them but on the lumia I only see a notification saying there is new email in the inbox and not for the other folders I have. On the android I used to have this would show all new emails on one screen even if they were in another folder.
How can I be notified of new emails arriving into other folders within my mailbox or have them showing up on the first screen like the android or otherwise the phone will be unusable as I will miss too many important work emails because they don't show me notifications that they have arrived.

Nov 24, 2014Had my 1020 for about 15 months and all generally works well. Lately, when in the car and an incoming text comes in, when I say "reply", it hangs up. This has not happened once, but many, many times. No change to the car and it worked pretty well until recently. I wonder if I inadvertently changed a setting to not allow for a voice command reply? I can't seem to find a setting that would affect this. By the way, I do mean replying via voice, not texting with hands while driving.

Nov 13, 2013I have the 1020 with ATT. I use three email accounts, gmail, outlook, and Comcast imap. My Comcast account periodically deletes all emails. I've checked all settings both on the phone and with Comcast and cannot figure out why this happens. It has nothing to do with the age of the messages. It deletes old and new messages. I believe it is a Win 8 issue because I see the same problem on my Surface RT and Pro. I have not had this problem on non-Win 8 devices.

Nov 18, 2013Seems like it should be a simple task, but is a hoop jumping nightmare on the 1020. I simply want to email a photo to my printer (Epson Artisan 730), which only prints pdf attachments (jpgs do not print with epson email connect). I've downloaded several apps that promise to be able to create a pdf from a jpg image file and then mail it, but none seem to deliver on that promise.
EDIT: Now have jpeg printing working via email. Problem was paper source and size. Unfortunately can only use 4x6 default size for photos. Still need pdf printing from the main paper cassette to get larger prints.
Lumia 1020 :: Account Cannot Sync Email Nor Calendar
May 20, 2015On May 18, 2015 I did the software update for my Lumia 1020 and now my phone seems to be experiencing a bunch of issues. Email doesn't refresh and I have to do it manually. My MS account cannot sync email nor calendar. Text messages don't send and various apps (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) won't open. Is there any solution to this? If not, how do I roll this back?

Sep 12, 2011Zumocast on Windows 7 and retrieving files from Droid Bionic. I open the client on Windows 7 and under Manage Content, I click the Add Folder button and select the folders to index. The folders are the Pictures, Music, Videos, and Documents library folders in Windows 7. Content is picked up on the Droid (although I do see some problems with directories that contain a large number of files) but after I reboot the Windows 7 machine and reopen the Zumocast client on Windows 7, the folders are lost and I have to add all of them back again. I tried adding a folder that was not a Windows library type folder and saw the same problem - after a reboot all the folders I specified to index are lost.

Jan 14, 2010I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem please. I have recently purchased a BB-Bold 9700 and transferred my settings from my old Bold. I have to email addresses (both Gmail) registered which appear on my main screen. The push email works fine! However, whenever I send an email, I cannot see the sent mail in the individual email folders but only in the main messages folder which is very annoying and confusing. Here's what I have tried sofar:
1. I tried to go into options and mark "No" in the section indicated hide my sent messages.
2. I tried going into filter and ticking sent messages. They appear but once you press the back button they disappear again.
3. I tried going onto the BB website and I successfully downloaded the newest software update (5.0.0.4) but still it did not resolve the problem....
Do I need to wipe off the whole device? Can someone please help because I'm very confused and frustrated with this issue.....

Sep 6, 2011I recently went through and organized my hotmail account. So if an email comes in from a certain email address it goes into a certain folder automatically instead of the regular inbox. Because of this I now no longer get those emails to my BB. I only get emails that still go to the general inbox.[URL].. and have attempted to set it up but it does not work, it says the only folders I have are inbox and spam, when in reality I have at least 10 other folders. I have tried to use the BB desktop manager thing but I get stuck at step 1 as I cannot find email settings anywhere in the program.
