the email address I am using is within my own domain of which I am the controller. There is no limit on my mailbox in regards to how large a file I can send. I wonder how to adjust the settings ont he Atrix to cure this bug/feature.
I upgraded my Tour OS to 5.0.0.419 yesterday and like it for the most part. However, I just found out a change I don't like. I tried to forward a MMS message to 11 people and get an error saying "Recipient list size exceeds limit." I have a group of people I forward stuff to. I don't want to go back to 4.7 because of something like this. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix or setting I may have missed?
Am I the only one having this problem? A search on Google displays nothing.I created a new group, and apparently only 10 people can be in a group at a time.

I have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.
Recently I've bought curve 9300 - so far it looks to be the best phoned I had so far.But yesterday I finally decided to install desktop software and check some other functions of the phone. And that's when I found a problem. I haven't installed ny media card, but there's some free space showing on the built memory.I've wanted to upload a couple of multimedia files ( .mp3 - using "file" button, I'm not using Itunes, Windows media etc).I got an info that maximum allowed file size has been exceeded (I'm not sure it's excat phrase as I had to translate it from Polish). What's wrong? I'm pretty darn sure that file I wanted to upload is smaller than free space (mp3 of around 5MB).

Now that I have, however, the "Install" button is greyed and and says "Installing", but the app isn't. Today the OVI Suite showed that there is an update available for Maps for my Nokia 5800xm. When I went to update Maps of India, it also showed a Pull-down tab where the maps are devided into further 18 parts...India (ALL) file size appears as that of 394 MB whereas the total of all these 18 parts is 895.4 MB. Why such a huge difference ? Will it be more detailed information if I download all these parts one-by-one ?

My Nokia 3600 converts SMS into MMS automatically if the numbers of characters exceeds 918 (6 SMS).If I delete some characters sometimes it offers the possibilty to reconvert to SMS in the 'Options' menu (other times not); sometimes it does it automatically (not consistent).
But sometimes even if I have a lot less characters and then I use certain accented characters (French) it does the same and it can't be reconverted to SMS. Other accented characters don't have the same effect.(I spell them out because I don't know how they would be displayed:
- characters always OK: 'a' grave, 'e' acute and grave, 'u' grave
- characters not accepted: 'c' cedilla, 'o' circumflex)
My 2600 and 2610 never did this: I could write much longer messages up to the total limit (split into more SMS) without any problem.Is there a fix for this bug?
When attaching a picture to an email the following popup is displayed. "The attachment file may be reduced in size" The picture no matter the size it was taken by the camera is drastically reduced in size. When viewing the picture on the recipients email the picture is very poor quality.

I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. View 6 Replies View RelatedUsing the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?
Why is there no File no standardized file manager or explorer concept where you can manage your data on your Micro SD card. Select lots of files and move them into a folder. Rotate mulitple pictures and email mulitiple file easily? Why is this not standardized on all blackberrys
