I am facing phone memory problem with my Nokia C503. It show other file 50 MB and out of 75MB only 18 MB is free. i dont understand why? i restored my cell to factory default, tried *#7370# but it stills there. then i checked individual foler size but its not engough to occupy 65 MB. I want to free up the space and specially want to know what are these other files. complete formating of Nokia c503.

View 1 Replies View Relatedsince one month the touchpad of my nokia C503 is slow and it freezes.. it works for a while only if i hit a little bit the back of the mobile..! any of you have this kind of problem? is there a simple way to solve it? because i lost my warranty.. and if i keep it off the whole night and i turn it on, the mobile works fine but after some hours it becomes slow again..! if i may decide to send it to a nokia center it could even happen that an operator tries the mobile and sees that there are no problems..

This would be fine if the Storage showed the Phone memory to be full, but it indicates there is 'free' memory (51MB free apparently). I have also installed App2SD to move all possible apps to the SD card (2GB, 504MB Available).
Details: phone memory 420MB; Apps 327MB, "Available" 50.96MB
Why am I getting the 'insufficient memory alert" if there is Available memory? (Also, the size of the app I want to install is 5mb).
there is a .log file in the root of my phone memory called licensersrv.logand the file size keeps increasing, roughly 80kb a day.

When I went to update Maps of India, it also showed a Pull-down tab where the maps are devided into further 18 parts...India (ALL) file size appears as that of 394 MB whereas the total of all these 18 parts is 895.4 MB. Why such a huge difference ? Will it be more detailed information if I download all these parts one-by-one ?

What's the better way of moving several GB worth of data from a smaller to a larger microSDHC card?
1. Can I simply copy the data on the old/smaller card to my PC (using USB mode) and then install the new/larger memory card in my phone and copy it back? This, to me, seems to be the swiftest route to take.
2. Or, is it better to backup the old/small card using PC Suite and then restore to the new/large card? If so, why? Based on prior experience with this method I'm not sure all data is moved...

All my contacts, messages, stuff from my gallery were all gone. There's no "inbox" in my messaging. No ovi. In my internet menu there's just home, browser and web services.
