I still don't have the G4 but I was badly surprised that increasing fonts size in settings won't affect the homepage and drawer fonts! Can you "force" them to increase size due to a font size resizer app??

I was attempting to download FFT:WOTL on my iPhone 4Gs using data. Because of the file size, it failed, and had me switch to WiFi. Now that I have, however, the "Install" button is greyed and and says "Installing", but the app isn't. I know I can download it to my computer and then sync, but I would rather not (just don't ask...). What is this an issue, and is there a way to fix it directly on the iPhone itself? If the answer is "no", then give it to me straight

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.
Recently I've bought curve 9300 - so far it looks to be the best phoned I had so far.But yesterday I finally decided to install desktop software and check some other functions of the phone. And that's when I found a problem. I haven't installed ny media card, but there's some free space showing on the built memory.I've wanted to upload a couple of multimedia files ( .mp3 - using "file" button, I'm not using Itunes, Windows media etc).I got an info that maximum allowed file size has been exceeded (I'm not sure it's excat phrase as I had to translate it from Polish). What's wrong? I'm pretty darn sure that file I wanted to upload is smaller than free space (mp3 of around 5MB).
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to determine if there is a relatively simple way around this. Reformating it to NTFS will not work as the xoom cannot read that file type...

When I went to update Maps of India, it also showed a Pull-down tab where the maps are devided into further 18 parts...India (ALL) file size appears as that of 394 MB whereas the total of all these 18 parts is 895.4 MB. Why such a huge difference ? Will it be more detailed information if I download all these parts one-by-one ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen you upload a photo from your phone to FB for example, do you notice that it uploads a very small compressed image? For example, using the native Gallery quick upload feature, i'm alerted that the photo is 2MB and needs to upload over WiFi, so it uploads. But then that same pic on FB ends up being only around 86KB. Uploading straight through the FB app is better, but still only around 325KB for the same image file. Is there any way around this at all?

I Had a new battery installed in my iPhone 5 today and the battery charge has not increased at all. Still at 16% the same as it was when I got it back 3 hours ago. Is it's to be expected or do I need to return to the Apple store?

I've been struggling with battery drain for a while now. Previously, I had my email set to "fetch every 15 minutes." I noticed that my usage rate each hour would go up by about 30 minutes even while the phone remained in my pocket on standby, with my battery draining around 10% each hour. I changed my email to "fetch every hour" and saw my battery life increasing. Finally, I changed the email setting to fetch "manually" and have noticed that now my usage rate more accurately reflects my actual usage and I am satisfied with my battery life. It seems like I have narrowed down my battery issue to my email settings. However, I would like to be able to have my email sent to my phone without having to manually update it each time. Any email settings or other settings I could change to increase my battery life?
