May 10, 2012I don't even have to touch my volume button for the volume to increase? And it's not like the + button is stuck, it is very in noting when listening to music and playing games!

Dec 2, 2014i have and iphone 4s and i m using ios7.1.2. the others section sows 4.02 gbs in itunes. last week it was showing 3.5 gbs. it stared with around 2 gbs and it keeps increasing. i dont know how to solve this problem. i dont wish to update my software because i like ios7.1.2 and prefer it over 8.1.1.

Sep 7, 2014I Had a new battery installed in my iPhone 5 today and the battery charge has not increased at all. Still at 16% the same as it was when I got it back 3 hours ago. Is it's to be expected or do I need to return to the Apple store?

May 11, 2012I've been struggling with battery drain for a while now. Previously, I had my email set to "fetch every 15 minutes." I noticed that my usage rate each hour would go up by about 30 minutes even while the phone remained in my pocket on standby, with my battery draining around 10% each hour. I changed my email to "fetch every hour" and saw my battery life increasing. Finally, I changed the email setting to fetch "manually" and have noticed that now my usage rate more accurately reflects my actual usage and I am satisfied with my battery life. It seems like I have narrowed down my battery issue to my email settings. However, I would like to be able to have my email sent to my phone without having to manually update it each time. Any email settings or other settings I could change to increase my battery life?

Jun 8, 2010I love everything about the new iPhone 4 and its insanely high-res screen considering its size. However, even though they've also bumped the specs, I am worried that the 4x increase in resolution is gonna hinder game performance and thus put the graphical qualities of games at a standstill.I mean anyone who is a PC gamer knows how much the performance of a game can drop - It's like the difference in performance of playing Crysis on 1600x1200 versus 800x600.
I'm curious to see what games will look like, but I have a bad feeling that this could make future iPhone 4 games look even worse graphically. Sure, everything will be crisper, but obviously there is a lot more to a game graphically than resolution.
IPhone :: Battery Performance Declining - Losing Up To 10% Over Night
Aug 10, 2010Ok so I have a 3GS and used to have decent battery performance, losing maybe 3% over night. Well I jailbroke and like a lot of people had way worse battery, losing up to 10% over night. I did a complete restore and re jailbroke and it seemed a little better.
Well I was charging the phone tonight by USB to my computer. I checked it and saw it was at 99%. I went to watch a show and came back and now was it was at 96% still plugged in and charging. I then rebooted the phone and it was at 98%. Anyone know what the reason for this could be and a solution?

Jan 10, 2016I have realized multiple times now that my battery actually goes up couple percentages without charging or plugging the phone into anything. It happens mostly when the phone is in battery saving mode, but I'm pretty sure I saw it happen without it as well.
I was able to see the slight increase in the battery app as well, which at least assured me that I'm not going crazy. Is this something normal either for this phone or any phone for that matter?

May 16, 2010I wanted to find out how I could increase the application memory on my 8900 as much as possible. Right now it only reads about 109 out of the 256 MB. I've tried deleting some of the unused apps and such but even when I do that it only makes about a 1 MB difference.
