LG :: Unable To Trasfer Files And Photos From GW620R To Computer
Mar 20, 2010
I bought a new LG Gw620R phone few weeks ago and clicked some pitures of my parents anniversary party however am not able to transfer them to the computer..when i connect the USB to the computer it says hardware found however the computer does not detect it and nothing happenes.I called up LG support and they said that you need to buy the USB cable seperatly ..At the store the person said that the USB cable is fine and you dont need to buy another one.Can someone please let me know how to transfer files to the computer..
I have a Motorola Droid X I got when they first came out. I have been unable to send pictures to my computer via Bluetooth for a while. I'm not sure what happened to make this problem occur. Now, when I try to send photos to the computer, after about 1/2 sec, it says "<filename> not sent". When I go to the messages pull-down from the main screen (sorry forgot/don't know the vocabulary if any), the message says:<filename><computer name>
The request can not be handled correctly.I also had some problems where my computer (Windows vicious vista) would tell me it couldn't find drivers for the various Bluetooth function it was trying to establish. I have no idea what the heck that was about, and now it doesn't happen anymore. Of course, that doesn't mean it is happy with the drivers.I tried to update the drivers but it says they are all up to date. When I go to Bluetooth Devices in Control Panel, the Properties for the phone shows services of Audio Source, Headset Audio Gateway, and Object Push (Obex) checked.
Object Push is the service that is used to transfer files to the computer, right?Connecting the phone to the computer still works to transfer files, but if I just have one or two pictures to send to the computer, it is much easier to use Bluetooth. Can anyone give me some help on tracking this problem down? I don't think it is the Bluetooth adapter because other Bluetooth functions work correctly.
I just recently purchased the droid binoc and i have started using the zumocast with my phone and macbook pro.
I am able to stream photos, videos and music but I am unable to download any file to my phone and when I do my phone confirms file has been downloaded the file says failed and when I tried to retry it stops after a few seconds and says failed again.
I have also tried this with videos and music and it had the same result.
I'm still unable to download any files from my computer to my phone at this time.
I have been using my ray for 6 months. Today I observed that all the files were invisible on my computer, eventhough SD card was full. My phone was connected by usb I run Sony PC Companion, windows explorer started and it was writen that SD Card 708MB Free and 3.65GB full, but I double clicked SD card and there was only two files; "customized-capability" and "default-capability". I have checked win explorer Folder Options, hide, unhide selection, do not affect. I am sure that the files are in my phone, I have check from my phone. Now, I could not transfer my pictures, files, movies from my computer.
Does LG GW620R phone comes with USB data cable or do you need to buy it seperately?I am not able to transfer photos from my cell phone to the computer.
i smahsed the screen up and now i cant access anything on the phone, even though display is fine and messsages are still being recieved. this mean without touchcreen i cant get any of the saved media off the device on to my computer.
I recently built my new computer. I didn't back up my old library. Now when I plug in my iPhone 4 it tells me I have to restore. If I restore, I lose over 2000 songs and lots of data. How do I set this computer as the new host AND get all of my files off of the phone onto this computer?
Prelims:I am part of a Enterprise account (old phone and new phone)Old Phone = Tour 9630 with 2gb mSD card. New Phone = Torch 9850 with a 16gb mSD card. I have the 'raw' .jpg.rem files from my old phones mSD card on my computer I have access to the old 2gb mSD card but the images were deleted. I have access to the old phone but it isnt enabled on the enterprise account..I know the pwd used on the old phone and the one on the new phone I cannot connect the phones to my computer as a storage device.
How can i get these pictures from my desktop computer to the new phone?
I have the international SM-G920I version of the S6, running the latest 5.1.1 update.Recently, it has started giving me issues in the Google Photos app. I am unable to back up any photos. When I go open the app and go to the Assistant tab, it always shows "Backing up 1 item out of XX".
When I go to the "Backup & Sync" settings of the app, I get constant toast notifications saying "Backing up 1 out of XX". I factory reset my phone and tried again, however the issue persists. I am able to upload photos onto Google Photos using my computer, so it does not seem to be an issue in my Google account.
I've backed up my device and I was planning on copying the old files on to my new model blackberry, but I wont have my new device for a few weeks, and my current model is broke, so I'm stuck with an old Sony Ericson, but I need to view my files to get my contacts and passwords etc, so is it possible to view my files on my computer without attaching my old phone which is broken?
Does anybody know how i would install a .APK file.. downloaded it earlier.. but i dont know where to save it to on my phones memory card, or how to install it
I think about 4 weeks ago, I accidentally switched from JPG to .DNG settings (5 MP + 34 MP DNG mode). I noticed my picture sizes on my onedrive are much smaller(from 10mb to 1mb) and less quality. DNG files are +40MB in size, so its no wonder that onedrive is only uploading what I assume the 5 MP files.
Anyways, when I try to upload the DNG files on my laptop from my camera via usb cord, it doesn't come out right .Not only is it huge(+40mb), but the color is disorted to purplish and very bad quality.
You know that kindle fire commercial where the mom is on the phone puts her kindle on the roof of the car, forgets it there, drives, and kindle drops on the ground? that happened to me today, but worse, as i was in a rush to go to an appointment, my phone hit the ground pretty hard. obviously the screen is cracked and the screen will not work. it's mostly just dialing 4's and 9's and it's waking up randomly. I cannot unlock my phone to transfer all of my files! I don't have an sd card, everything is kept in the internal memory and I keep everything on my phone! What are my options? I've tried shutting it down and turning it back on but the screen is still messed up. i need to unlock it to allow transfer of files from phone to computer, at least that's the only way i know how to do it. are there any other ways?
I have galaxy s5 and the photos and videos i take with camera stored in extrnal sd card. but when i wanted to transfer these to my computer the computer does not see the video files in that sd card folder, and it only sees the picture files. how can i also see and transfer video files to my computer?
I have the Droid 2 Global (upgraded from droid 1 to2 and now to global) How can I add ringtones to the Droid? I did it before using Astro File Manager but Ill be darned if I can figure it out again! doh! Happy to do it any way possible.
i have voice recordings and pictures that are in my backed up folder on my computer, but my phone is backed up to two days ago. how do i get those files that are on my computer onto my phone??
I am trying to transfer media files from computer to BB and it gives message device memory full while it is empty. How to check the usage of media memory and transfer the files from computer?
On Win 7 when I connect my phone to the computer some files and folders don't show up even though they are indeed there. Is this a compatibility or driver issue?
I have rooted and installed the custom recovery everything is working fine, but this is just a little weird.
I just transferred all my data from my Galaxy S6 Edge to my computer via Smart Switch, now how do I view the files? I know where they are, but when I try to open them, I get a message indicating the computer doesn't recognize the file type. What program do I use to view them? Messages are what I'm most concerned with.
Apparently I lack sufficient brainpower to do something that, in my small feeble mind, I assumed would be easy: connect my Nexus 5 to a Windows 7 PC via Bluetooth so that I can access the storage files on my Nexus. Very specific, very simple, yet it does not work. I have searched everywhere, and I do not need a tutorial on how to pair them. I have them paired. That pairing does not do anything, it has no function.
On my Nexus 5, it says it is paired to my PC. On my PC, I have a fugly *** Nokia-esque icon that has "Nexus 5" under icon listed under Bluetooth Devices. I do not understand what else I need to do?
P.S. How do I find "Bluetooth drivers"? Windows update has no clue WTF to do, and like I said, I am retarded and lack basic reading comprehension since I cannot find any information that is relevant through searching online.
