Feb 1, 2010This is about opening from a POPUP, not directly from the calendar. In OS4.x, opening a popup reminder always asked if I wanted to open the series or the occurrence. In OS6.x it just opens the series without asking. Therefore, if I need to reschedule the appointment, I have to go into the Calendar app, where opening the appointment does ask if I want to open the series or the occurrence as it should. I shouldn't have to do that. I skipped OS5.x, so I don't know what it did.

Aug 15, 2010I had this problem on my prior 9700. What happens is when I open up an unread text message it always doesn't show that text on the screen. Instead it brings me to a random part of the conversation(although it is usually the same part over and over). This is very small, but very annoying indeed. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix this issue

Aug 18, 2010The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

Aug 26, 2011On my old bb, it always said that I had 3 unread messages, but I searched everywhere and couldn't find them. I just got a new bb today and when all my data got transferred over, my new one is now saying that I have 3 unread messages. I've deleted all old messages, emails and voicemails. I also removed my email account from my phone and it is still there. I'm not sure what else to check or how to get rid of it.

I have amassed 24 unread emails in my gmail account on my home screen, for which I cannot remove. I have:
1. Deleted all the emails in this account
2. Removed the account and recreated it on the BB
3. Removed the battery
Unfortunately, none of the above has removed the alleged unread emails from my home screen.

Nov 5, 2013Trying to figure out best way to stay on top of notifications. Not really thrilled with getting them in the notifications section for each email - I get too many of them.
My Galaxy S3 and past iphones all simply show you a notification with a number on the mail or messages app itself, telling me how many I have new or unread. I believe there is even a third party app for Gmail. But I assume it should simply be a setting to the existing apps or a active widget. But no luck.
Am I missing a setting, or is there really no actual unread message totals notification on the email and hangouts icons?

Jul 26, 2015My issue is this, my messaging icons do not depict number of unread messages, at all. Including the Samsung default text messaging app, Gmail and Verizon email. They did when I first got the phone (Galaxy S6) but have not at all today after doing some simple personalization.
Additionally, I have gone into app manager and the individual apps and the show notifications check box is checked.
