I have a LG G3 that I have to use for work. Since I need to fill my contacts with work infos, company names, etc, I would like to have the company name on the screen while receiving a call. By default I see only the full name, so how can I? Do I need an app?
View 7 RepliesI have recently got a Nokia 6301 and put all my contact is. However when someone rings me neither their name or number comes up on the screen - just "call". What I have I done wrong? I have put the contact name in and phone number under "general".
View 7 Replies View RelatedI wrote a post here before realizing that the thread trail (Home -> Forum -> Canadian Carrier Discussion -> TELUS Mobility -> CDMA Network and Devices) was pretty narrow, and the thread itself seemed bloated.So I moved it here. I've done a bit of the "intro" stuff: up/down-loaded pictures/ringtones and changed the cover display, so i'm pretty familiar with p2k Commander. But, like some other folks (and as i say in my post) i found either myself incompetent or the software lacking. Regardless, I've experienced some success with this direction so i think i'm gonna take it as far as i can.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recieved a call about two weeks ago. It was an incoming call, I answered, the call lasted about 10 minutes, and I wrote down the number to call them back. I must have written the number down incorrectly because it does not reach him. In the Phone app, under Recents, it shows a list of recent calls. However, I receive a lot of calls so that call is already no longer listed, it only lists back about a week. Is there some way that I can still access the number that called me two weeks ago? Would the number be saved anywhere that I can access? I have no other means of contacting him.

I turned on cell info display and the phone showed cell info. But after making a call using my second sim, the cell info disappears. The cell info again appears only after rebooting the phone.

Lollipop 5.1 does not allow for screen widgets and there is no option in the security settings to display owner information on the lock screen.

I have read the discussions on the screen glare on the xoom and do not find the answer to my question. I was told by sales person to install the Zagg Screen protectant. I did so and what a mess, so I took it back to Best Buy and they replaced it and installed it for another $15. I went outside to take some pictures of a quail and her 15 babies and could seen nothing on the screen. Tried different ways. Then I thought about doing work or play with my Xoom outside on the deck and that was a lost cause too.
What can I do to get rid of the glare on the Xoom screen with the Zagg installed? Can I put something over the Zagg? It was not cheap and I paid to have it installed.The person who answered my question I though was just making a joke. I tried full brightness of the screen and my sunglasses. IT WORKED> Kind of dark but good enough to see what I was taking a picture of I need to find the name of the last reply because that was the one with the answer that worked.
Where/how can I in Symbian s60rd3 disable info about calendar and meetings/events when phone is locked (device - not keypad)? For example in nokia E66 synchronized with exchange. I have on screen, when I lock device, info about meetings and other events. Exist app or function in my nokia with this?

For my info, I have my name, my google voice number, and an email address.I previously had an app to do this, but with ICS I no longer need it. I mention this feature because of something that happened to me this weekend. I have an Android ICS tablet on which I've also entered the owner info. I left it in a public place this past weekend. Before I had even gotten back to my hotel, I had received emails and phone calls from the person who found the tablet, turned it on, and used the Owner Info to contact me.Saved me at least $300 it would have taken to replace it. Which wasn't the worst thing - I had taken the memory card out of my camera and put it in the tablet. I miss the owner information on a Storm2 when the device is locked.Having upgraded from a Storm to a Storm2 using the DM Device Switch Wizard, there is no owner information showing.
The owner information and the blue screen shows quickly up when the device is booted but not when it is locked. Does anybody know how to get the owner info back showing up on a locked screen or has an idea for a workaround?

View 7 Replies View RelatedAs a fairly new X2 owner (I just switched from an X1 a few weeks ago), one thing that really bugs me is that when I'm on a call that I originate, the phone does not remain on the "call in progress" screen. Instead it goes back to the home screen and if I want to access any "call in progress" options, I have to pull down the notification shade.
Is there any way to change this? Do I have any options?
If I want to make the Z5 a call and dial the number and pick up the phone, the screen goes black and I can do nothing more. It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.

The screen automatically refreshes itself every 10 seconds or so, not leaving me with enough time to input my info. Because of this, I can't put any apps on my phone.

I installed LockInfo a while ago. I got everything working fine, downloaded it and plugins fine. I got them all from the same repo as I was advised to do that, and everything seemed to be working fine. Everything was up to date etc.
I received an SMS, and instead of it appearing under the SMS on LockInfo, which it does, it appears as well by the annoying Apple notification box.
I still want my phone to light up when I received a text message and the text message to be displayed under the SMS tab in LockInfo, but how do I get rid of the Apple notification box? I saw when configuring the app there was some thing about quick replying to texts and there was a list to choose form. Would any of those get rid of the Apple alert?
has anyone experienced problems with their call log? It is set for 30 days but when I try to access "Missed Calls", "Received Calls" or "Dialled Numbers" nothing happens. Also when I press the green send key, no previously dialled numbers are shown. If I receive a missed call and press "show" I just get the home screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedN96 was working fine until two weeks ago, hasnt been dropped or damaged so i can only think its the update of software.i have reset it and still i have the same problem.If I slide open to answer calls or messages or use the menu's by opening it as if to use the media player (ie slide down) it works fine. If I slide up i get a blank screen and it takes absolutely ages to get the menu n screen When a call comes in screen goes blank except for a few lines (top middle)

View 9 Replies View RelatedI purchased a new 32gb iPhone 4 from my local Apple Store. After everything was all setup, I walked around the store trying to replicate the "death grip" which I was able to do, mostly anyway. A few seconds go by and a screen pops up, very similar to the incoming call screen.
It was plank at the top where the number usually would go, and below that it said "Pwr on/off". At the bottom was the usual Accept / Decline buttons. The Apple genius immediately said "Oh, hold on a sec" and pressed the "Accept" button, and the screen disappeared. When I asked him about it, he was very very coy about it and said "Oh, it was a diagnostic screen, don't worry about it. It's gone and you won't see it again." I kept asking what the screen was and he kept deflecting the question.
Anyways, much of the screen description was coming from memory, so I'm not 100% sure it was exactly, but it was damn close. I wish I had time to take a screenshot. Anyways, has anyone else seen this screen before? What is it?
