I turned on cell info display and the phone showed cell info. But after making a call using my second sim, the cell info disappears. The cell info again appears only after rebooting the phone.
View 2 RepliesI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded the firmware of my Nokia Asha 300 twice (first to v07.44, second to v07.49) via Nokia Suite and both upgrades went without errors. The problem is that none of the applications seem to have been upgraded. On my device, Nokia browser is still at version 1.0.2. Information on the internet says that 07.44 was supposed to give me browser v1.5 and 07.49 was supposed to give me 2.0. No other app seems to have been upgraded either. (Could someone tell me what versions numbers I'm supposed have with firmware v07.49?) In fact the only change I can detect is that the version number of the firmware now reads 07.49 in Settings -> Phone -> etc.. Also Nokia Suite says that my phone is up to date. It seems two firmware upgrades have been failures and Nokia Suite does not even realize it.

Today I have experienced international call (from The Netherlands). The remote telephone number shown in the displayer begun with +4831 instead of +31 (48 is my country code, and 31 is Dutch country code), so whole was too long.Maybe it is only small bug, but it makes hard to distinguish international calls from local calls. I had to count amount of digits in telephone number. Also when I want to recall on this number I had to write it manually.

When I dig out the phone from my pocket, I frequently accidentally drop the call because the phone does not require the swipe gesture before accepting touchscreen input for incoming calls! Is it possible to set the phone to always require the swipe gesture? If not, then is it possible to set it up so that only the physical buttons can answer/drop calls?

i am not getting cell info display even when it is enabled in the phone. i am using uninor sim in sim 2 ( as for those who do'nt know about uninor, in india uninor gives the current discount in call rate as cell broadcast / info message and it is continously flashed when i use the same sim in nokia 1200).
