All of a sudden, possibly since I made the latest iOS upgrade, or set it to airplane mode ( now off) ,individual mail messages no longer display the "to" field. I discovered it was turned off in settings ( which I never did) But even when I turned it on this feature did not turn on. I tried closing the app and starting it again, and even powered off my phone. Both with no result.

On my iPhone 4, whenever I type in the To: address field, Mail crashes. I can reply fine, I can create an email from contacts fine, even copy and paste into the field fine. But when I type it crashes. Recemtly updated the iOS,and thought that would take care of it. Still happening!

This morning I noticed the mail app icon disappeared from the 4 icons in the last row (with phone, safari and music). When I search for 'mail' the icon is there, but it is nowhere in my screens or on the permanent bottom 4 app icons. How do I get it back and why would it disappear? It was there last night?!

When I go to voicemail it just dials my voicemail like the old days with a flip phone. I am no longer getting voicemail notifications either. Called sprint and they said it was apple's problem and a software update was needed. Apple denied this and recommended a hard reset which did not work. They are going to call me back later with other options to try to fix it but this requires that I have another phone which won't happen till later tonight. Any tips? I'd like to get visual voicemail back and I'd also like my old voicemails too! Is this a sprint or apply problem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I had my Get Images option in my email disappear about a month or two ago, and I haven't seen it since.I can't remember changing anything, my HTML is enabled, my "Download Images Automatically" option is enabled.I tried resending service books, and I have the latest software/firmware version, but nothing.I can see HTML formatting in the email (like coloured backgrounds, formatted text, etc, but no images, I don't get the option to "Get Images" either when I press the BB key. The only options I get is More, More All and Get Plain Text.

I know it was there earlier today since I went in to see if there were any BIS 3.0 changes (I didn't see any).Now it's gone.I still have all my e-mail accounts set up and they appear to be working fine, but the setup icon is gone.Has anyone else noticed this issue?Is there something going on with BIS? View 5 Replies View RelatedI had my yahoo email account set up on my BB Bold 9930, with it's own icon. Suddenly, it is gone. I do have a separate email account on an enterprise server. Both were running fine for months.
1. I tried going to my email>options>email account management>set up email account
The account is now listed as existing, but the emails (or icon) are not showing anywhere on my BB. Emails are not showing up in the main email inbox.I also marked SHOW ALL ICONS and also looked in all folders for a separate Yahoo icon like I had before. Nothing.
2. I tried downloading a Yahoo mail app
I cannot find any that do not give me a "app not compatible with BB 9930"
I've had my iPhone 4 jailbroken since it became available and had no issues. Now whether it was my mistake or it randomly happened I'm not sure, but the mail app has disappeared. I SSH'd into the phone and the MobileMail.app is gone. I know I could do a restore and re-jailbreak, copy everything back over, etc. However, before I do that, is there anywhere I can download the app or would someone be willing to post theirs so I can download it and copy it back over to my phone?

I'm experiencing a problem with my contacts and trying to sync Facebook information. Before I would update my Facebook contacts it but the link to the Facebook profile and updated the photo. Now it's not updating photos and putting a "0" under Facebook field in the contact.
Just upgraded to iOS 7.1.2 to see if it was a bug fixed. You can see a sample on this screenshot below.
My incoming text messages show up on the screen even though show subject field is turned off, I've restarted and restored and still it's happening.

My iphone mail app regularly requires restart to get mail flowing. That is it is running (doesn't crash) but will at time just stop getting email updates. I then have to force close the mail app (i.e. kill it) and then restart it. After restarting it the mail flows again.
Notes:
a) I do connect to Gmail for my mail - I'm using the IMAP facility for gmail currently (i.e. not the "Exchange" method)
b) I do also have the Google "Gmail" app running on my device too

I know I can delete the emails from the server as they are being downloaded, and that would solve the problem between the iDevices. But I still want a copy of them downloaded into Outlook on my desktop for future reference, so deleting them from the server before Outlook gets ahold of them does not seem like a good idea.I currently have a POP3 account, but I could move onto an Exchange Server or into iCloud or something else if that would solve the problem.
