Earlier today I was able to unlock the screen but the passcode screen was shrunk to the bottom left corner and I was left unable to enter the numbers for the passcode.

It then shows up with a sign saying restore needed however when i connect my iphone to itunes it says i need to enter my passcode but it doesnt let me do that so does anybody know what i can do to fix the problem if that makes sense?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running IOS 4.0.1 on an iPhone 4 and have only noticed today that EVERY time I wake the phone, I have to enter my passcode.I have the AutoLock setting set to 5 minutes and previously I thought that if for example I use the sleep button on the top of my phone, but then immediately wake the phone and 'slide to unlock' - if that 5 minute window hasn't passed, I don't have to put the passcode back in, and it goes straight to the springboard. However, now it seems regardless of the AutoLock 'x minutes' duration, whether it goes to sleep by itself or if I manually sleep the phone then wake it straight away, I always have to enter the code.
I do have it connected to an Exchange 2007 account (of which I'm admin of so if it's something to do with the settings in there then that's something I could change). It's weird though as my girlfriend has an identical phone/os etc, and is also connected to our exchange server but she doesnt have this passcode issue. If she unlocks her phone, then sleeps it and immediately wakes it, when she uses the slider on the lock screen she isn't prompted for the passcode.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I upgraded my Bold 9000 to Bold 9900. The transition went smooth, with one exception - the Notes field size in Contacts is much smaller than in Bold 9000 and the text in that field got truncated.. I keep customer service logs in that field and the major reason for upgrading was the possibility of fast scrolling to the end of the Notes field to add new records. Now this purpose is irrelevant since the data entered in this field in Bold 9000 doesn't even fit in it in Bold 9900. If I don't find a workaround, I will have to revert to my Bold 9000 and return the new device.

When I went to use my iPhone 5S, I discovered the icons were enormous! Due to the huge size, I was unable to negotiate to the Settings menu, so I tried restarting the phone, thinking that might solve the problem. It did not.Â
Of course, I have to re-enter my passcode, and due to the huge size of the keypad icons, I was unable to enter my passcode, inadvertently hitting wrong numbers. My phone keeps disabling for increasing periods of time. I tried connecting to iTunes on my Macbook Pro, thinking I might get to Settings that way, but it asks me to enter the passcode on my phone.Â
I am afraid I will completely disable my phone.

I'm trying to connect a bluetooth speaker to my LG G4, but it won't connect as I get an error on my phone saying that the passcode is wrong, do I want to try again? The S6 is my second Android phone. First was an LG G2. I'm noticing my Exchange contact notes are truncated on the S6. Seems to display first 1000 characters only. My G2 did not exhibit this limitation.
I did some searching around on this subject and it seems to be a common Samsung complaint.
My workaround so far has been to use the Outlook app when I need all notes for a given contact. This workaround is somewhat inconvenient and I'd like to find a better way to natively manage Contacts.
Since I updated my nexus 5 to 4.4.4, in the notification are I have a small circle with a number inside. Sometimes it is 5, other times is 71 or 94 (see the picture attached). What is that? How can I configure it or hide?

View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "The number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls please enter your 10 digit phone number" The funny thing is that this problem just started to happen. A week ago it was fine. When I do call a number that is not blocked, my number comes up correctly on the caller ID but shows as unidentified. Sometimes, it shows up as international.Now, funny thing is that if I put my SIM in my Pearl, I can make calls no problem. There are two settings on the Bold under general options. One is called "Restrict My Identity" In this case, I have have it set to NEVER. I have also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but neither of them make difference. The other setting is called "Show My Number" and this is set to YES.I have talked to AT&T until I am blue in the face. They say it is a problem with the phone and that it needs to be replaced. I hardly believe that. I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.I did see some threads on this before in other forums, but never did see an answer to the problem.Finding a solution would be very nice.Already tried doing a factory reset and a security wipe on the phone.

I'm experiencing a problem with my contacts and trying to sync Facebook information. Before I would update my Facebook contacts it but the link to the Facebook profile and updated the photo. Now it's not updating photos and putting a "0" under Facebook field in the contact.
Just upgraded to iOS 7.1.2 to see if it was a bug fixed. You can see a sample on this screenshot below.
