May 10, 2012Ive read all the other 1000 responses on this topic, however none of them work. Added another Iphone 4 to my account and we acctivated it lastnight. Imessage is activated on the phone. However when sending imessages its showing her email address rather than phone number. Noww before I get the same replies I have went to Settings<Messages<Recieve at and there is no option for phone and there is no option for caller ID. So im lost. And I was on the phone with Apple for an hour lastnight and got NO where.

Apr 23, 2012With my previous smartphones, I had the possibility to dial tel. numbers directely from a text message or from the agenda. For my client visits, I alway put the complete address and contact info in the subject of the agenda item. When I have some traffic problems and will be later then forseen, I can contact my client directly from the tel number in that agenda subject, without havng to put in the number again. Also from text messages. Whan someone speeeks a message into my voicemail, I receive a text message from my provider with a short phonenumber to listen to the message directly. I have now an iphone, but it doesn't recognise the number in the agenda or sms as a phone number, and I can't mark them. Is this an option that has to be set on or so? Or is it just not integrated in the OS? Would be handy, I had it in all my other phones, Nokia, HTC,...

May 17, 2012The switch for showing my number is locked. My iPhone shows unknown number when I call someone. I think it has something to do with my iCloud account. I tried to put my SIM card into another iPhone and my number showed. So I got a new iPhone and downloaded my iCloud profile to the new iPhone and the same problem was back. I started this iCloud profile with a 3s iPhone with a diffrent telephone company and a diffrent telephone number.

Dec 30, 2011Having searched high and low, I am still unclear as to wether my Xoom WiFi is capable of dialing a simple telephone number. This eminates from my asking Speaktoit Assistant to dial a number and she keeps saying that she is unable to find that name in the contact list. I am using GoogleVoice Contacts.
Is the problem that Xoom WiFi can only access numbers that are on an installed microSDHC card?
I do not have one of these cards to install yet. If someone can tell me if Xoom WiFi can do this, please tell me what I need to do.

May 11, 2010Every time I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "The number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls please enter your 10 digit phone number" The funny thing is that this problem just started to happen. A week ago it was fine. When I do call a number that is not blocked, my number comes up correctly on the caller ID but shows as unidentified. Sometimes, it shows up as international.Now, funny thing is that if I put my SIM in my Pearl, I can make calls no problem. There are two settings on the Bold under general options. One is called "Restrict My Identity" In this case, I have have it set to NEVER. I have also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but neither of them make difference. The other setting is called "Show My Number" and this is set to YES.I have talked to AT&T until I am blue in the face. They say it is a problem with the phone and that it needs to be replaced. I hardly believe that. I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.I did see some threads on this before in other forums, but never did see an answer to the problem.Finding a solution would be very nice.Already tried doing a factory reset and a security wipe on the phone.

Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.

So i want to save this range of numbers under 1 contact but not one number at a time, i just want to save it as a range e.g 012 231 0500-99 such that if i receive an SMS from any of the numbers it is just recongised as from company A and the sms is stored together with other previous SMSs from the same contact even tho from different numbers.
