Asha 30/40 Series :: Internet Telephone Tells Number Busy?
Oct 25, 2012When i call any number using internet telephone it tells number busy.. I have tried calling 100's of number butt every time it tells number busy.

The remote telephone number shown in the displayer begun with +4831 instead of +31 (48 is my country code, and 31 is Dutch country code), so whole was too long.Maybe it is only small bug, but it makes hard to distinguish international calls from local calls. I had to count amount of digits in telephone number. Also when I want to recall on this number I had to write it manually.

After I run them and allow them to connect it says that I have bad internet settings, which are fine because I can use web browser and Skype. Feb 17, 2010I bought an unbranded 6700 classic on amazon and I tried to disable internet access completely.
So in the first place, there is no option to disable packet data or internet access at all... I can only choose between on demand and always online... thx for that!
I tried to make new hoax profiles with made up usernames and passwords for those data links and access points and set them as defaults but this phone always just connects to the internet by edge after all...
I also can't just delete my provider's access points which seem to be sitting on the sim card or however that works...
if there is a "reliable" method to block data/internet access? On sony ericsson devices there is at least some kind of workaround which works by setting the access points to ask for a password before they actually connect.. but in this phone there doesn't seem to be any option to protect myself to go online by accident..
