May 18, 2012Recently company A has been send me SMSs using different number from a specific range eg. 012 231 0582, 012 231 0589, 012 231 0592, etc
So i want to save this range of numbers under 1 contact but not one number at a time, i just want to save it as a range e.g 012 231 0500-99 such that if i receive an SMS from any of the numbers it is just recongised as from company A and the sms is stored together with other previous SMSs from the same contact even tho from different numbers.

Sep 4, 2014I loved to tell Siri to call my wife/spouse, write a message to my brother and so on. But since a few weeks, don't know exactly since when, Siri keeps telling me, that she doesn't find a phone number or email address for abc (where abc is the name of my brother, wife, child, etc) although my contact information is set in the Siri settings and all the relations are given to my contact.
As mentioned in the community, I've turned off Siri, reset my iPhone and turned on Siri again. I've deleted all relations in my contact and set them up again. Someone suggested to delete middle names from all contacts, but I'my not using middle names. So, nothing fixed the issue yet. Â

Sep 8, 2014Whenever I carried my iPhone in a pant pocket it would inadvertently activate voice control and take any further noise or touch as a command to dial the most recently dialed number. I know that this normally happens when the home button is pressed for a few seconds.Â
Yet, after I had disabled Siri, set the screen to lock, plus I had the code protection in place, Siri would still start up and dial phone numbers.Â
The only solution, that I have found in this forum, is to enable Siri, enable code protection and then disable Siri in the code protection menu. This is not acceptable.Â

However when sending imessages its showing her email address rather than phone number. Noww before I get the same replies I have went to Settings<Messages<Recieve at and there is no option for phone and there is no option for caller ID. So im lost. And I was on the phone with Apple for an hour lastnight and got NO where.

For my client visits, I alway put the complete address and contact info in the subject of the agenda item. When I have some traffic problems and will be later then forseen, I can contact my client directly from the tel number in that agenda subject, without havng to put in the number again. Also from text messages. Whan someone speeeks a message into my voicemail, I receive a text message from my provider with a short phonenumber to listen to the message directly. I have now an iphone, but it doesn't recognise the number in the agenda or sms as a phone number, and I can't mark them. Is this an option that has to be set on or so? Or is it just not integrated in the OS? Would be handy, I had it in all my other phones, Nokia, HTC,...

I tried to put my SIM card into another iPhone and my number showed. So I got a new iPhone and downloaded my iCloud profile to the new iPhone and the same problem was back. I expected to see a 3G so I reset the system and still received an "E". So my deduction is that the Hotspot will not work without a 3G signal.

Jun 29, 2012Is there any way to mark email for my iCloud account as spam on my iPhone? I'm running iOS 5.1.1. It's extremely frustrating to receive spam email on my iPhone and have no way of reporting it. The iCloud WWW page will not allow you to log in from an iPhone and instead tells you to use the built-in Mail app. The Mail app will not allow me to mark spam. Since I have my iPhone set to display HTML images in email I have to be exceedingly careful not to open any spam messages until I can get to a desktop computer to log into iCloud. Sometimes, I don't have access to a desktop for multiple days at a time, which means I can't mark the email as spam for days and have to tiptoe around it. I can't tap the delete button at the bottom of an email, because it might move me to the spam message, which means I'll trip the webbug and I'm hosed. I thought that the new push was to be desktop-free as much as possible? Yes, I could just delete it, but that doesn't help to train the spam filters.Why is there no way, at all, of doing this on an iPhone? It's 5 years old already. Am I the only person in the world that receives spam on their iPhone?

Jan 22, 2010I tried searching for this issue, but I only found problems relating to a black screen with a yellow triangle and exclamation mark inside the triangle. This does not appear to be my issue.My issue involves a small triangle with an exclamation mark inside it. The graphic is next to the battery icon on the status bar. Does anyone know what this is trying to tell me? I do notice that my battery is discharging quite rapidly, about 1% every 3 minutes. Is this a battery temperature/charge issue?My 3GS is not in the charger currently.
